Chapter 185 - Ch. 185: The Battle’s Conclusion

I blasted sideways this time, rapid-fire blasting as many small-scale ki blasts as I could in complete concentration as I barraged the evil Namekian from all sides at my highest possible speed and power balance.

He dodged most of them. The ones that were dodged slammed into each other and exploded anyways, creating a wave of air pressure that would've blasted the clouds away, but didn't because they'd been blasted away long ago, battering Slug with shockwaves that, to him, seemed pretty mild in actuality, compared to the ki blasts that felt like one of my own low-powered punches.

I then flew directly up to Slug and made a ki-enhanced scream at the top of my lungs.

"EEEHHHYABBBLAHABABHLAKABER! SOLAR EXPLOSION!"

The sonic attack exploded in the Namekian's face, causing him to clutch his sensitive, Namekian ears. Then, I pulled out my next card: An enhanced version of the Solar Flare technique.

Rather, not exactly enhanced, simply overclocked. Another technique I created on the spot. A massive amount of light erupted from my forehead… as well as a scalding heat. Slug's face took the brunt of it, reddening and slightly blistering from the raw heat, his eyeballs burnt to the point where, had he been a normal person, he'd have permanently and completely lost his sense of sight.

As it was, though, it'd only buy me a few seconds. But during those seconds, he'd be totally and completely blind.

(From a distance)

"EEEHHHYA! ABBALAHABABH! LAKHADER!"

"...Tater!" Tater immediately blasted off to help his friend.

And just on cue-

"CATAPULT DRILL!"

Tater's attack slammed into Slug's side, fully charged with a power roughly above 30 million. Not enough to damage, but enough to push the blind Namekian, completely disorienting him.

Nodding to Tater, who seamlessly took over for me, blasting the disoriented Namekian as hard as he could to keep him as off-guard as possible, I immediately got into position for my attack.

"REEEEE…." My hands thrust out in front of my chest.

Tater blasted in and rapid-fire-kicked Slug with his pinball technique while the Namekian roared in annoyance, the repeated attacks interrupting his concentration, making it much more difficult for him to heal himself.

"GAAAALIAAAA…" Slowly, my hands rotated. One half-turn clockwise. One half-turn counterclockwise, slowly pressing inward, compressing the energy as it gathered, my full focus on pushing the energy as hard as it could go.

"BULL CRASH! WAAH!" Finally, Tater's stamina reached its limit, and his 'sprint' of rapid-fire maximum-power attacks reached its end. With a final roar, he dropped down onto Slug with his Bull Crash technique.

But just as he got to the sudden twist at the end of the attack that concentrated the power into a single point to catch the enemy off-guard, Slug suddenly grabbed his ankle and yanked. Tater's SSJP form was thrown off into the distance, out of eyeshot, as the Namekian's eyes formed once more.

But it was too late.

I smirked.

"CANNON! FOR ZECK!"

The blast exploded from my chest with a force surpassing 500 million. My most powerful single attack. It contained every bit of energy that I could possibly spare, a last ditch effort. If it failed, I'd have nothing left in the tank at all.

Having been distracted by Tater for the critical moment, Slug didn't have the capacity to dodge, or the time to block.

The Regalia Cannon surged through the air, an unstoppable wave of pure power.

With a scream, the evil Namekian's body was destroyed down to the last cell.

The energy from the Regalia Cannon flew through the sky, cutting through the air like butter and disappearing into the distance. Since Tater had knocked the Namekian into the air, nothing was even damaged aside from Slug.

The battle was over. Earth wasn't in immediate danger anymore.

My body dropped to the ground, my SSJP, and the Blutz-Light Generation technique fueling the Blutz Overdrive both vanishing as the adrenaline completely faded from my system.

For a moment, my ki completely shut off on its own, and I just existed, tired, but alive, feeling the unique electric feeling of the massive ki signature saturating the area as it rippled across my skin, combined with the pain of my cracked rib and whatever internal injury was causing the small pool of blood to build up in the back of my throat.

Then, my legs gave out and I dropped to the ground, exhausted.
