"I'm taking that man. If any of you have a problem—speak."
Wang Lu's voice was calm.
Too calm.
Yet not a single peak master met her gaze.
"Whatever," the red-haired Old Yang snorted first. "It's not like I was interested in him anyway."
Wang Lu's eyes shifted to him instantly.
"It's such a beautiful head of red hair," she said thoughtfully. "I, Wang Lu, don't share my men. Not even with other men."
Pfft!
Someone burst out laughing.
It was the pale, handsome peak master of Netherpeak.
Old Yang's face darkened immediately.
"Old Ghost! You dare laugh? Do you believe I'll drag the sun down onto your Netherpeak?!"
The pale man chuckled, unfazed.
"Hehe… try it. That little candle of yours? I doubt it can stir much."
Old Yang's lips twitched.
Surprisingly, he didn't argue further—only snorted and turned away.
But someone else stepped in.
"Junior Sister is joking," the blue-haired woman, Su Rong, said with a gentle smile, as if nothing had happened earlier. "We naturally don't mind you taking disciples. Congratulations on opening the tenth peak."
Wang Lu didn't respond.
She simply looked at her.
Waiting.
As expected, Su Rong continued, her smile deepening.
"Although… you said you wanted the man. Are you taking a disciple… or do you have other intentions?"
A faint cough echoed.
The sect master clearly wanted to end things there.
Unfortunately—
Wang Lu had no such intention.
"Why?" she asked lazily. "Do you plan to control even that? "
She tilted her head slightly.
"But then again... what could one expect from a green tea b*?"
Several peak masters coughed awkwardly.
Some looked away.
Everyone understood what she meant.
But no one would ever say it out loud.
Except Wang Lu.
She gave a disdainful snort.
"Senior Sister should age gracefully." she added lightly. "After all… you're not exactly young anymore."
A pause.
Then—
"It wouldn't be appropriate for an old cow to covet tender grass."
Silence.
Then suppressed laughter rippled through the clouds.
Su Rong snorted coldly, but couldn't refute Wang Lu.
Clearly she had lost, and the sect master had to step in.
"Enough, Wang Lu! Quickly take your disciple and give your Senior brothers and sisters a chance too." the sect master snapped, face dark.
He wondered which sin they had committed to have such a junior sister.
"Everyone, select your disciples."
With that, he vanished in a streak of light—clearly fleeing before more of his secrets were exposed.
"Sect Master, why the rush~"
Wang Lu called after him sweetly.
The fleeing figure almost stumbled mid-flight.
Fortunately, she didn't continue calling after him.
The remaining peak masters exchanged glances.
Then—
They fled.
"Take care!"
"Until next time!"
"Sigh… cowards," Wang Lu muttered, shaking her head.
---
She descended from the clouds.
Graceful.
Unhurried.
The moment her feet touched the ground, all fourteen disciples felt their breathing hitch.
Her beauty was suffocating.
Her presence overwhelming.
Wang Lu swept her gaze across them—
Then snorted.
"Little perverts," she said dismissively. "Not like my Wang Li."
Before anyone could react—
She disappeared.
And reappeared directly in front of Wang Li.
Her hand landed on his shoulder.
Then—
Without hesitation—
It slid down to his abdomen.
She pressed lightly.
Paused.
Then nodded.
"Mm. Not bad."
It was as if she were inspecting her personal property.
The surrounding disciples were stunned.
Completely stunned.
Only one person remained calm—
The woman Wang Li had encountered in the spiritual plane.
Her eyes flickered slightly, as if reassessing something.
---
Wang Lu stepped back.
Then circled Wang Li.
Once.
Twice.
Her gaze roamed freely, without restraint.
Finally, she stopped in front of him, eyes gleaming.
"Not bad at all," she said. "From today onward—you're mine."
She reached out and grabbed his wrist.
"Come. Let's head back to my cozy peak…"
Her lips curved into a teasing smile.
"…and get busy."
Gasps echoed around them.
Wang Li, however, remained completely composed.
He didn't resist.
But he didn't move either.
"Who might you be?" he asked calmly.
As if the person touching him so freely wasn't worth reacting to.
Wang Lu paused.
Then slowly turned to look at him.
For a moment—
Silence.
Then—
Her smile deepened.
"Oh?" she said softly.
"Interesting."
She leaned closer, her voice dropping.
"From now on… you'll call me Master."
She winked.
"…if you understand what I mean."
The surrounding disciples felt like their brains had stopped working.
---
Above, the peak masters watched in disbelief.
"Does she have no shame?"
"With her, you're still talking about shame?" Su Rong replied coldly.
"At least wait until no one is watching!" another muttered.
---
Wang Lu ignored them all.
Her attention never left Wang Li.
But Wang Li finally moved.
He gently removed her hand from his wrist.
Not forcefully.
But firmly.
"I don't remember agreeing," he said.
The atmosphere froze.
The surrounding disciples stared in horror.
Rejecting a peak master?
Rejecting Wang Lu?
Was he courting death?!
But Wang Lu—
Didn't get angry.
Instead—
Her eyes lit up.
Dangerously.
"Good," she murmured.
"Very good."
Her voice softened, but the pressure in the air increased.
"I like disobedient ones."
She stepped closer again.
This time, her tone carried a trace of possessiveness that sent chills down everyone's spine.
"But whether you agree or not…"
Her fingers lifted his chin slightly.
"…you're still coming with me."
---
At that moment—
A voice echoed from the sky once more.
"Give up your delusions. Follow your assigned peaks."
The sect master reappeared briefly, clearly trying to restore order.
But his gaze flickered toward Wang Li—
With a trace of pity.
---
Wang Li noticed.
And that—
Was what made his eyes narrow.
Something was wrong.
Very wrong.
Before he could think further—
The purple token in his hand suddenly trembled.
Then—
Cracked.
A strange force surged out.
Not pulling him toward a peak—
But toward Wang Lu.
Directly into her.
Wang Li's pupils shrank.
Because in that instant—
He realized something terrifying.
This wasn't a selection.
It was—
A binding.
---
Wang Lu's laughter echoed softly.
Low.
Satisfied.
"Too late," she whispered.
