Inside the vampire kingdom of Transylvania, Lucian paced his room like a caged animal.
His phone was still in his hand as he walked the length of the room after ending the call with Alina.
"Tomorrow? How can the wedding be tomorrow?" He muttered, his grip tightening around the phone in his hand. The kind of grip that had nothing to do with the weight of the device.
If asked why he didn't want the wedding to hold, Lucian definitely wouldn't have a definite answer.
Was it because he was going back to Rowan? He wasn't even sure about that.
"Should I try... No! That will only make Rowan keep getting hurt by my enemies. I can't be by his side." Lucian instantly shook off the thought of damning consequences and running off to be with Rowan.
