Lloyd glanced at Carrot and said,
"What are you standing there stunned for? Let's go. I'll go shopping with you two."
As he spoke, Lloyd wrapped an arm around Wanda and walked past Carrot toward a clothing store. Snapping back to her senses, Carrot quickly turned and hurried after them.
"Hey! Don't leave me behind!"
When the three finally emerged from the clothing store, Lloyd's outfit remained unchanged, but Wanda and Carrot had undergone a complete transformation.
As members of the Mink Tribe, both girls disliked hot weather, so they had chosen light and comfortable clothing.
Wanda wore a blue and white striped camisole paired with denim shorts, while Carrot had changed into an orange printed mini dress.
In addition to the outfits they were wearing, Lloyd's Dark Bible contained a large pile of clothing they had purchased. The two girls had nearly emptied the entire women's section of the store.
Carrot was especially excited. The moment she stepped outside, she spun around twice and proudly showed off her new outfit.
"Lloyd, how do I look?"
Lloyd casually gave her a few compliments before glancing toward a bar across the street.
"Let's go. We'll have a couple of drinks."
Carrot blinked.
"I don't drink."
"Then sit and watch. Wanda, can you drink?"
Nestled against Lloyd's side, Wanda answered softly,
"If it's Master's wish, I can try."
Lloyd gently stroked the brown fur on her head and smiled.
"Give it a try, then. If you don't like it, you don't have to force yourself."
After speaking, he flicked Carrot lightly on the forehead.
"Ouch!"
Carrot immediately covered her forehead and hopped backward, pouting.
"You hit me again! That's unfair!"
Lloyd ignored her complaint.
"That's because you're a disobedient pet. Pets that don't listen get punished."
"If you'd treat me as gently as you treat Wanda, I'd listen too!"
"Oh? Negotiating conditions with me now? Then you can sleep on the street tonight."
"You...! Wanda, he's bullying me again!"
Wanda smiled helplessly.
"Carrot, Master wouldn't do that. Actually, he likes you quite a bit."
Carrot froze.
Then she bounced in place twice, her cheeks turning slightly red.
"Huh? He likes me? That's impossible..."
Lloyd glanced at her.
"Correct. That's impossible. Let's go."
With that, under Carrot's resentful stare, Lloyd led Wanda toward the bar on the corner.
Inside, energetic music filled the air.
Several dancers wearing tight, revealing outfits moved passionately on the stage, drawing whistles and cheers from the young men gathered below.
Since it was their first time entering a bar, Wanda and Carrot were initially uncomfortable with the atmosphere. However, the Mink Tribe was naturally cheerful and open-minded. Before long, both girls found themselves enjoying the lively environment.
Carrot was especially excited.
She hopped around constantly, clapping enthusiastically for the dancers on stage. Her flushed little face made her look particularly adorable.
Lloyd chose a seat in a quiet corner and sat down with Wanda beside him.
He called over a bartender and ordered two cocktails, a fruit platter, and specifically requested a large glass of juice for Carrot.
Leaning comfortably against the sofa, one arm stretched along the backrest while the other rested on Wanda's shoulder, Lloyd narrowed his eyes as he observed the performance on stage.
The dim lighting made his golden eyes appear even more striking.
When the drinks arrived, Wanda obediently picked up one of the cocktails and brought it to Lloyd's lips.
Lloyd took a sip before casually glancing at the bartender.
The bartender immediately felt a chill run through his body.
Years of experience working in places like this had sharpened his instincts. He instantly understood that this young man was not someone he could afford to provoke.
Without hesitation, he bowed slightly and prepared to leave.
Just as he turned around, a banknote landed on the tray in his hands.
The bartender froze.
A calm voice sounded behind him.
"Your tip."
Looking down at the denomination, the bartender's eyes widened.
Ecstasy immediately appeared on his face.
He spun around and bowed deeply.
"Thank you very much, sir! If there's anything you need, please don't hesitate to call for me!"
Lloyd simply waved a hand without even looking at him.
The bartender wisely retreated.
After he left, Lloyd gestured for Wanda to try her own cocktail.
Wanda obediently took a sip.
Unfortunately, she was clearly a lightweight.
After barely finishing half a glass, a rosy blush spread across her face and her eyes became slightly unfocused.
Seeing her condition, Lloyd chuckled.
He took her glass and poured the remaining alcohol into his own.
"That's enough. No more drinking. Eat some fruit instead."
Wanda lowered her head in embarrassment.
She had not expected herself to be so weak when it came to alcohol.
Picking up a piece of apple with a toothpick, she quietly began eating.
At that moment, a wave of surprised cheers suddenly erupted from the dance floor.
Lloyd and Wanda turned toward the stage.
At the center stood a beautiful woman dressed in a light purple dance outfit.
Her slender waist swayed gracefully to the rhythm of the music. The thin fabric accentuated her elegant figure, while her long black hair spread behind her like a waterfall as she spun.
The combination created an exceptionally captivating sight.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow.
"It's her."
Wanda looked up curiously.
"Master, do you know her? What's her name? She dances amazingly."
Lloyd drained the rest of his cocktail in a single gulp and gave a faint chuckle.
"Her name is Violet. She used to be the princess of this country."
"Eh? Used to be?"
"That's right. The king here was replaced a long time ago..."
Before Lloyd could continue, another disturbance suddenly broke out nearby.
This time, the trouble was coming from Carrot's direction.
Three drunken men were slowly surrounding her.
The lustful expressions on their faces made their intentions obvious.
Earlier, Carrot had accidentally stepped on one of their feet.
As a result, the three men had latched onto her and refused to leave her alone.
The bald man leading them repeatedly reached out, attempting to grab her.
Each time, Carrot easily dodged with her natural agility.
Instead of getting angry, the man merely grinned.
"Come on, little bunny. Aren't you supposed to apologize? Why don't you have a few drinks with us first?"
Carrot frowned.
Since she had been the one who accidentally stepped on him, she had restrained herself until now.
However, the three men were becoming increasingly excessive.
A silver arc of electricity flickered across her hands.
On stage, Violet noticed the situation and immediately stopped dancing.
People like these were common in bars, and she already intended to help the Mink girl.
Just as she prepared to leap down from the stage, three dark purple rings suddenly appeared above the heads of the drunken men.
Before anyone could react, the rings descended instantly.
Boom!
In an instant, the three drunkards were crushed into bloody masses of flesh on the floor.
The lively atmosphere of the bar vanished completely.
Silence fell over the entire establishment. Everyone stared at the horrifying scene in shock, unable to believe what had just happened.
