Although Emit was a robot, Marco's system could not detect the level of non-living entities. Still, Marco estimated that Emit possessed at least strength comparable to an Admiral or even an Emperor.
After all, in the original events, Emit had fought against the Gorosei and even shattered the tusks of the Fierce Boar. In the end, Emit was dismantled into scrap metal, but only because the Gorosei attacked together. In a one-on-one battle, defeating Emit would not have been so simple for them.
Emit spoke immediately, "Marco, can you help me recharge my energy? I don't have much left, so I can't assist you in combat."
Marco's interest was piqued. If possible, he wanted to take this massive robot with him. He replied, "As for energy, I might know someone who can help. But first, let me deal with Imu."
While Marco and Emit spoke, Imu was far from idle. She was communicating telepathically with the Gorosei.
Her voice was cold. "Saturn, Nusjuro, Peter, when will you arrive?"
At that moment, Saint Saturn responded apologetically, "Forgive us, Lord Imu. Because of the Conqueror's Haki released earlier, all transfer anchor points on Egghead Island have been destroyed. However, we will move to the nearest island and head there immediately."
A trace of dissatisfaction flashed across Imu's eyes, but her tone remained indifferent. "There is no need. This island no longer needs to exist."
With that, she cut off the connection, clearly disappointed in her subordinates.
As the ruler of the world, she had not expected that she would need to handle everything personally in the end.
Marco turned his attention back to her. Just as Imu was about to speak, Marco attacked without hesitation.
Her expression darkened slightly. "How rude… just like Joy Boy."
"Oh?" Marco showed a hint of curiosity, but his attacks did not slow.
As their battle continued, Marco gradually gained the upper hand. The main reason was that the body Imu currently possessed was too weak to fully unleash her true power. With each passing moment, her injuries accumulated, partly from Marco's relentless assault and partly because the host body could not withstand such an intense battle.
Despite this, Imu remained calm. She already understood that defeating Marco in this state was impossible. However, she had successfully gauged his strength.
Looking around, she saw the Marines fleeing without her command. This filled her with anger.
To her, the Marines were nothing more than tools of the World Government, yet now they abandoned their master at the first sign of danger.
Still, she understood that even if they stayed, they would be of little use.
Her voice turned cold as she issued an order, "Marines, kill Kaido and Big Mom immediately. If they cannot become my war slaves, they have no reason to live."
She looked down on them completely, yet at this moment, they were the only forces available to her.
Upon hearing this, Issho, known as Fujitora, responded. Though blind, his Observation Haki and hearing were exceptional, and he had already learned of Imu's identity from the Gorosei and the God's Knights.
The ruler of the world.
He bowed his head slightly. "Understood… Lord Imu."
Hearing her name spoken so casually by someone she considered insignificant displeased her, but she suppressed it. Marco's attacks left her no room to dwell on such matters.
High in the sky, Marine warships flew forward, chased by a massive pink dragon. Standing atop it were hundreds of powerful fighters launching long-range attacks.
Ulti roared angrily, "Sak, speed up! Get closer! I want to crush them myself!"
Sak replied with frustration, "Easy for you to say. If I get any closer, Fujitora's gravity will send us flying."
He had already tried once. The moment he approached, an invisible force repelled him as Fujitora manipulated gravity, forcing him back and causing everyone on his back to suffer.
Charlotte Katakuri spoke calmly, "Keep attacking from a distance. His aura is weakening."
Charlotte Smoothie added anxiously, "But Imu has already ordered him to kill Mama."
Hearing this, the executives of the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates grew tense.
Meanwhile, aboard the warships, Kaido and Big Mom had awakened due to the chaos. Bound by Sea Prism Stone chains and weakened by their injuries, neither could break free.
Kaido looked at Fujitora approaching and grinned. "Worororo… Fujitora, here to kill me? I heard what that world ruler said."
Fujitora's expression hardened. As a Marine, he preferred capturing pirates alive, but circumstances left him no choice.
They were being relentlessly pursued by the alliance of Emperors. Even now, he could barely hold them off.
Floating the warships in the air gave them a temporary advantage. On land, the Marines would have already been overwhelmed.
Even so, the enemy's pressure was immense. If this continued, his stamina would run out first. When that happened, not only would he fall, but the thousands of Marines aboard these ships would perish as well, and Kaido and Big Mom would inevitably be rescued.
There was only one path to survival.
Kill Kaido and Big Mom.
Only by ending their lives could the pursuing forces lose their reason to continue.
Fujitora tightened his grip on his sword, his resolve firm.
For justice, even this had to be done.
