"Make sure the exchange goes smoothly," West added.
"You don't have to tell me twice."
West's expression became serious. "And Jax?"
"Yeah?"
"Don't do anything reckless."
"Coming from you, that's hilarious."
West frowned. "Jax."
"I'm joking."
"You better be."
...
...
On the day of the exchange, Jax stood beside several Shadow Reapers vehicles.
The road ahead of him was empty, except for the people standing on the other side.
They were Angel Trigger's men with vehicles parked behind them.
Jax stood with his hands in his pockets and behind him, several Shadow Reapers members waited.
In his hand was a small transparent bottle, containing a glowing crimson liquid.
Aria and Liz could be spotted standing on the opposite side of the road.
Neither of them looked like they had been physically harmed but they looked exhausted.
Liz's eyes moved across the road and widened slightly when she spotted Shadow Reapers members. "Jax."
Jax lifted a hand. "Hey."
