West frowned. "Aria."
She continued speaking rapidly. "I used outside contractors."
"I hid every connection."
"I routed the transport through multiple channels."
"I made sure nothing pointed back to Shadow Reapers."
Her eyes became glossy. "I don't understand how they found it."
West watched her quietly and placed a hand on her shoulder.
The panic in her expression eased slightly as he spoke. "This isn't your fault."
"But—"
"It's not."
She looked down as West gave her shoulder a reassuring squeeze.
"They were watching."
Aria eyebrows furrowed while West continued.
"This wasn't random."
"They knew exactly what they were looking for."
He looked around the room. "They've probably been planning this for a while."
Jax slammed a fist into the table. "So what now?"
West's expression turned cold... It was often the same expression people saw right before something unfortunate happened to someone else.
"So... what do we do?" Aria questioned as well.
