"Oh this?" West laughed while raising the phone slightly. "This is barely the beginning."
Darius' eyes looked bloodshot now.
West slowly approached him again, stopping just close enough for their faces to nearly meet. "You know what bothered me most?"
"You never even remembered her."
"My sister died… due to your carelessness..."
"…and you forgot."
"You ruined my family," he said quietly. "I grew up in a broken home because of you. My mother lost herself. My father spent years holding together scraps. My childhood became a mess because you people decided innocent deaths were acceptable losses."
West's smile slowly returned as he leaned in even closer. "So now… I'll make sure you experience the same thing."
Darius growled like a wounded beast as West continued calmly, "But unlike you, I have no intention of physically harming your family."
He tilted his head slightly. "At least not directly."
His smile widened further. "I'm going to replace you."
