West shook his head slowly while stepping forward.
"Nothing at all."
Soon their session began...
At first, it started absolutely normal or at least… what had become their version of normal.
West moved around her as she worked through her exercises, adjusting her posture with firm but controlled touches. His hands lingered slightly longer than necessary on her waist, her lower back… her sides but this time, she didn't try to pull away or fight thw thoughts invading her mimd.
She didn't tense or subtly create distance like before...
Instead, she leaned into it...
West instantly noticed the changes and his lips curved faintly.
"Relax your shoulders," he murmured while his hand rested at her lower back. "You're holding tension here."
Lianhua exhaled softly.
"Like this?"
"Better."
His fingers brushed lightly along her side as he stepped around her; "You're improving."
"Thanks to you," she replied voiced with a softer than usual tone.
West chuckled; "Of course."
