Chapter 163 - Welcome to the Shino Prison Family

"As the Captain of Squad 11, what is the meaning of you running over to our Shino Prison all day?"

Naraku Sora raised an eyebrow, staring at Zaraki Kenpachi, who had brought people over to crash the place, with a look of utter dissatisfaction.

Ahead, a chilling aura of death shrouded the entire street. A dense Reiatsu, reeking strongly of blood, instantly crushed down upon them, causing the ground to creak under the pressure.

Watching this caused Urahara Kisuke's eyelids to twitch wildly.

During the Tenshintai incident a few days ago, half the barracks had been blown into ruins. Since a renovation plan had already been drawn up previously, the reconstruction was immediately put on the agenda.

And now, just as the renovations had begun, the big brute from Squad 11 had come to visit. Judging from his stance, he did not come with good intentions.

"Heh, back in the Rukongai, you promised me that as long as I became a Captain, I could challenge the strongest Soul Reapers whenever I wanted."

Zaraki Kenpachi wore a look of disdain. "But after just participating in the Captain proficiency test, no one is willing to fight me to the death anymore."

"Besides, every single one of them is too weak. There's no challenge at all."

"Fighting you is much more satisfying."

"So, let's kill each other!"

Hearing this, Naraku Sora sighed helplessly.

"I really don't know what to do with you."

"Let's go to the newly built training grounds. The Kidō barrier over there is a bit sturdier."

Zaraki Kenpachi obediently sheathed his jagged longsword and followed behind Naraku Sora toward the training grounds.

Soon, the squad members heard that the Captain of Squad 11 was going to challenge their Prison Warden. They immediately dropped their work and transformed into bloodthirsty spectators.

As jailers responsible for carrying out punishments, they dealt with cruel torture all day long.

Although under Naraku Sora's guidance, the atmosphere in the prison was no longer as gloomy as it had been initially.

However, over time, a layer of haze would still cloud their hearts.

Ordinary ways of venting could no longer dispel the negative emotions in their minds.

Only a life-and-death struggle could release the pent-up frustration deep within them.

Neither of them was the talkative type.

Skipping the trash talk entirely, they erupted with their respective Reiatsu the moment they stepped onto the field, charging at each other ferociously amidst the cheers.

It was as if two blazing infernos collided, bursting with intense heat and scattering sparks everywhere.

However, the battle did not end up in a stalemate as everyone had imagined.

After just a brief clash, Zaraki Kenpachi was completely suppressed.

The terrifying existence who had slaughtered his way through the Captain proficiency test and beaten Muguruma Kensei to his knees was now experiencing a complete role reversal in Shino Prison.

A single strike of the First Secret Sword: Rhino Strike directly caved in the ground, causing Zaraki Kenpachi's body to instantly sink halfway into the earth.

He did not even have time to react.

A dazzling and brilliant sword pressure burst forth from the blade. The massive, radiant slash carved deep into the ground, blasting the challenger into the sunless depths.

He had absolutely no power to fight back.

The bloodthirsty spectators outside the arena were dumbfounded, once again gaining a clear understanding of their lord's strength.

No wonder Lord Naraku did not take the position of Squad 11 Captain; he simply looked down on the title of "Kenpachi."

Even though his golden Reiatsu burned fiercely like a raging fire, it could not withstand Naraku Sora's brutal devastation.

All the frustration he had suffered at the hands of Vajrayati earlier was now being unleashed entirely onto Zaraki Kenpachi.

When the gap in strength between two sides was too large, a fight to the death simply became a one-sided massacre.

Even though Zaraki Kenpachi continuously raised his power and his Reiatsu burned ever brighter, he was still blasted back into the ground by Naraku Sora's heavy, overhead downward slash.

He completely lost consciousness.

Seeing this, the Soul Reapers immediately boiled over with excitement.

"As expected of the Prison Warden!"

"Lord Naraku completely humiliated Zaraki Kenpachi! Lord Naraku is invincible!"

"Prison Warden, we adore you!"

The cheers almost blew the roof off, and the squad members could not hide the excitement on their faces.

This powerful display acted like a shot of adrenaline, bringing a different color to their dull and tedious lives.

Only in their Shino Prison could they witness Captain-level Soul Reapers clashing. In any other squad, even a battle between seated officers would be considered a rare sight.

With such a contrast, everyone's sense of belonging instantly peaked.

Amidst this passionate atmosphere, Kakyo quietly approached Naraku Sora. Seemingly influenced by the people around her, her face also looked flushed.

"Lord Naraku, are we still accepting new members right now?"

Naraku Sora glanced at her, asking somewhat strangely:

"We are. Why wouldn't we?"

"Even for the most wicked and evil of scum, Shino Prison has a plot of land for them."

Kakyo: "..."

Although she had been here for a while and was quite familiar with her boss, her simple nature still made it somewhat difficult to keep up with his train of thought.

She would often short-circuit over a single sentence.

She just hoped that her good friend would be able to adapt to the environment here.

Led by Kakyo, Naraku Sora stepped outside the barracks. A figure was leaning against the shadows, waiting quietly, not showing the slightest hint of impatience despite the long wait.

He had dark skin, short, choppy purple hair, closed eyes, and wore a simple white linen outfit.

"Let me introduce him to you, Lord Naraku."

Kakyo revealed a sincere smile, pulling the man over to Naraku Sora's side.

"His name is Tōsen Kaname. He is someone who holds a deep passion for justice. After hearing about Lord Naraku's heroic deeds, he struggled with the decision for a long time before finally making up his mind to come and join you."

Seeming unaccustomed to Kakyo introducing him like this, the man looked a bit embarrassed.

"Only to carry out the justice in my heart."

"Tōsen, this is the Lord Naraku I mentioned to you."

Hearing the introduction, Naraku Sora was somewhat surprised.

At first, he really hadn't recognized that the dark-skinned man in front of him was Tōsen Kaname. He looked completely different from the image in his memories.

However, he seemed to possess very high talent.

Even though he could not see, he was able to perceive everything in the outside world through the flow of Reishi and the changes in Reishi density in the atmosphere, down to the gentlest breeze.

If he could become a Soul Reaper, he would definitely be a fierce warrior.

While Naraku Sora was observing him, Tōsen Kaname was also observing Sora.

For some unknown reason, when he was born in the Rukongai, he was blind—a naturally defective soul.

Because of this, he had suffered a great deal.

However, it was precisely because of this uniqueness that he possessed an acute perception of others.

Just like right now.

Even though this Lord Naraku stood before him without saying a word, that undisguised sincerity was deeply branded into his 'eyes.'

It was just as Kakyo had said.

Lord Naraku truly harbored justice in his heart. If he could follow such a person, he would definitely be able to carry out his own justice to the very end.

The two of them just stood there 'looking' at each other, leaving Kakyo temporarily unable to understand this peculiar method of communication.

After a few seconds, Tōsen Kaname bowed and said respectfully:

"Lord Naraku, if possible, please allow me to follow by your side."

Looking at the earnest Tōsen Kaname, and then glancing at Kakyo, whose fate he had changed with a casual gesture, Naraku Sora pinched his chin.

'Another SR card?'

From Kuchiki Kōga and Kakyo to Urahara Kisuke and Kurotsuchi Mayuri, and now Tōsen Kaname.

There might be even more people joining in the future.

'It seemed there was faintly the prototype of a new Gotei 13 forming. If this continued, perhaps he could establish his own faction and replace that overbearing and unreasonable Old Man Yama?'

After thinking for a few seconds.

Under their slightly nervous gazes, he grinned:

"Welcome to Shino Prison."

Rukongai, Mount Koifushi.

On this day, after finishing the paperwork forcefully shoved onto him by his black-hearted Captain, Aizen returned to his secret base, physically and mentally exhausted.

He happened to see a certain guy sitting upright in a chair, fingers interlaced in front of him, exuding an imposing aura.

"Sōsuke, you're finally back."

"I have good news for you. Now that I have achieved mastery in my training, it's time to go settle the score."

"The current me is terrifyingly strong!"

Looking at the man acting crazy, Aizen couldn't help but fall into deep thought.

'Did his brain get damaged by his own Zanpakutō?'

'Why was he suddenly spouting nonsense?'

"Never mind. You came at the perfect time; I happen to have something I want to discuss with you."

Aizen's expression grew a bit more serious as he spoke in a deep voice.

"Through my recent research on Quilge Opie, I've discovered that Quincies are a race with absolutely no antibodies against Hollows."

"Unlike Soul Reapers, once invaded by Hollow power, a Quincy's body will exhibit varying degrees of mutation."

"And your previous actions gave me some inspiration. Since we can go to the Rukongai to recruit Soul Reapers and top-tier warriors..."

"...then why can't we go to Hueco Mundo to recruit Menos Grande?"

Hearing this, Naraku Sora's eyes lit up.

'Has the villainous boss Aizen finally revealed his ambition?'
