Chapter 254: A Sea of Pirate Crews
"Captain!"
Seeing the countless pirate ships surrounding them, the members of the Dragon Flame Crew all stood, faces grave.
"Pathetic rabble," Jiang Qize said calmly, his eyes fixed on the enemy ships without a trace of concern.
"Wind God, Canglong—this is in your hands," he added lightly.
"Understood!"
"Understood!"
Two voices responded in unison.
From the dark, cloud-choked sky, a massive figure broke through the clouds, descending like a falling star.
"Boss! Look, what's that in the sky?" a pirate aboard one of the ships shouted.
Everyone craned their necks to see.
"It's the Wind God —the battle beast of the Dragon Flame Crew!"
One pirate screamed in horror.
Vwoom… vwoom…
A violent wind tore through the sky, rain pelting down upon them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sheer force of the gale lifted pirates from the decks, smashing them against the planks, some plunging into the sea.
"Ah…"
"Attack now!"
"Kill them!"
Some screamed, others roared, pulling out guns and firing.
Bang! Bang!
On the White Python Pirate ship, the captain suddenly transformed into a colossal white python, stretching dozens of meters. Its massive head reared skyward, flicking its forked tongue, two fangs gleaming menacingly.
"Roar~!" it bellowed, coiling its body and crouching in an attack stance.
Vwoom… vwoom…
The two-hundred-meter Wind God descended, its massive body shrouding the ocean below. Whirling gusts of wind engulfed several ships, plunging them into darkness as waves battered the decks.
Boom!
The enormous wings slammed into multiple pirate ships, destroying them instantly. Those on board were reduced to blood and gore.
A powerful wind-and-wave surge radiated outward. Wherever it struck, sea levels dropped temporarily, ships were lifted, smashed together, and obliterated.
The Wind God did not stop.
Its sky-spanning wings continued to beat, sending out massive gusts, amplified further by the stormy rain.
Meanwhile, beneath the waves, a colossal shadow surged upward.
Boom!!
The Canglong burst from the ocean depths. A pirate ship unlucky enough to be in its path was smashed to pieces, the crew flung into the sky as blood-soaked debris, raining down in the storm.
"It's the Dragon Flame Crew's Canglong… so huge…"
"Captain, we should retreat…"
"Ah… help me!"
"Captain…"
Screams and cries of panic echoed across the waters. Seeing the Canglong, whose size dwarfed their ships several times over, no one dared claim they could defeat the Dragon Flame Crew. They had just witnessed multiple pirate crews utterly annihilated in seconds—none even managing to touch a single member of the Dragon Flame Crew.
"Strategic withdrawal!"
Some pirate crews finally admitted defeat, retreating from the battlefield.
Even without engaging directly, the destruction of so many crews in under a minute made it obvious—they were no match. Once one led the retreat, the others quickly followed.
It was as if they had come merely to watch a grand spectacle.
Half an hour later, the ocean lay calm, the storm clouds dispersed, and the sun shone brightly.
Scattered wooden planks floating on the water bore silent testimony to the carnage that had just unfolded.
