Chapter 229: Chaotic Battle 7, the Space Fruit
The great battle within the Void Battle Realm was destroying everything inside it, while outside the Sabaody Archipelago—
High in the sky, a massive figure appeared.
Buzz—buzz—
A pair of enormous flesh wings slowly beat the air.
"Yah—" a cry rang out.
It was a Quetzalcoatlus, a hundred-meter-long Quetzalcoatlus.
On the back of this Quetzalcoatlus stood two figures. One of them had slicked-back hair, a long horizontal scar across his face, an earring on his right ear, and a cigar clenched between his teeth.
The golden hook on his left hand gleamed faintly. He wore a black fur coat, and beneath it an orange checkered long-sleeve shirt.
He was Crocodile.
"Ze… I never expected you to draw so much attention from the World Government and the Navy, even mobilizing so many top-tier powerhouses. This time, I've lost… I just hope you're not dead!"
Crocodile bit down on his cigar, gazing at the land below as he spoke calmly.
"Stay up here."
Crocodile said to Celine beside him.
"Yes, Boss." Celine replied with a smile.
Immediately after, Crocodile turned into sand and fell toward the ground below.
Below, the sand condensed into shape.
Looking at the spot where the Void Battle Realm had originally vanished, Crocodile waved his hand, and a violent sandstorm enveloped the entire area, spinning endlessly.
"Found it!"
A cold glint flashed through Crocodile's eyes.
At the center, there was a location where, once the sandstorm passed through, it vanished without a trace.
In the next instant, he turned into sand and disappeared from where he stood.
…
Void Battle Realm.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
On the ground, two figures were continuously exchanging blows. The earth exploded under the impacts, and within several kilometers everything had already turned into ruins, riddled with craters.
"Hahahaha, the World Government is nothing special!"
Jiang Qize and Luo separated, landing dozens of meters apart. He looked at Luo and laughed loudly.
Although he had been suppressed throughout the entire fight, Luo still couldn't injure him.
"I never thought the Dragon Flame Pirates would possess such a powerhouse. I'm very curious where all these strong individuals came from."
Luo looked at him coldly and said flatly.
A year ago, there was no information whatsoever on anyone in the Dragon Flame Pirates. Even Jiang Qize was only known to have emerged from the East Blue.
"Does that matter…? Your World Government has ruled the world for eight hundred years. What did you do eight hundred years ago…? How many great world clans were torn apart? And among those clans, there were plenty of powerful experts."
Jiang Qize spouted nonsense.
Hearing this, a flicker passed through Luo's eyes.
He naturally knew what had happened eight hundred years ago.
"So… you're one of the D. clan?" he asked coldly.
"Guess?" Jiang Qize smiled.
"If you won't speak, you won't have the chance to."
As Luo finished speaking coldly, a sensation of death surged through Jiang Qize's heart.
In his mind, an image appeared of his heart being ripped out.
His Armament Haki instantly covered his entire body as he flashed to the side.
A black-gloved hand emerged from the void, its chilling aura tearing the surrounding space apart.
Luo stepped out from the space itself.
"Seeing the future, huh… then you must die!"
Luo said calmly, his tone one that looked down on everything.
"Space Fruit?"
Appearing a hundred meters away, Jiang Qize's pupils contracted as he stared at him.
To be able to appear instantly behind him—not teleportation, but true spatial displacement—only the Space Fruit could do that.
The Space Fruit was absolutely one of the strongest legendary abilities. The saying "time reigns supreme, space is king" was not without reason.
The entire world, even the entire universe, exists within space.
