The moon almost got devoured by the night, only some of its part still shining. The stars had vanished, engulfing the sky into total darkness resulting in the one light source, the deficient moon.
Below the gloomy night, Noah slowly walked in the grassland with Alice walking forward to prevent any peril.
Their backpack is hanging on their shoulder by the shoulder straps.
"Are you there? It's almost an hour." Noah asked like a child.
"It's only been twenty minutes, so shut your mouth or I am handing you to the police. " Alice threatened Noah.
"Yeah whatever you want stupid bitch. "
Alice turns around as soon as she hears those words, her eyes looking like a hungry predator, a menacing frown form in her face.
"Don't you dare to use that word on me, even if it's a joke. Don't think I would send you to the police, I would literally put your tongue out if you said that word again to me, this is the last warning." Alice warned.
Noah froze in terror, sweat of dread started to form in his face. "Yeah, I understand. Sorry for that. "
Alice didn't say anything, continuing to walk in the grassland. Noah stands there for a moment, after some seconds he starts to walk behind her.
"Alice, sorry for tha—"
Alice put her finger on Noah's lips, avoiding him to say anything. Carefully examining the front view, bending down to hide in the tall gasses.
"What happened? " Noah removed Alice's finger from his lip.
"There are two coastal guards in front, guarding the beach. We have to remove them before our boat comes. " Alice explained.
"So what now? "
"Just stay there, I will be back.
By saying that, Alice gets out of the grass, exposing herself to the guards, hiding something behind her hand. The guards noticed her.
"What are you doing here? " One of the guards questions.
"Nothing, I am wondering.. "
"Wondering what—"
Before the guard could finish his sentence, Alice pulled out a knife, slicing through the neck of the guard horizontally!!
His body fell down, blood draining down from his neck.
The second guard steps back his horror, he tries to reach for his gun but Alice reacts fast, she stabs her knife in his hand.
The guard pushes her back by his leg, trying to reach his gun from his second hand. He finally pulled it out.
But before you could shoot..
Noah jumped towards the guard, punching him straight at his jaw, then threw the gun away from his hand. The guard pulled out the knife from his hand, stabbing Noah in the chest.
"Bad for you, I don't feel pain. "
After he said that, he gave a brutal punch on his face!! Knocking him down in the ground. The guard started to cry in pain.
"I think we are all good now, am I right Alice?"
Alice didn't answer Noah's sentence, she just stood up, looking at the ocean waiting for the boat.
"C'mon Alice, I am sorry for calling you that sentence. " Noah apologised.
Alice looked at her, still in her grumpy mood, her green eyes shining lessen, she slowly opened her mouth although before she was about to say something, the injured guard tapped on his remote speaker microphone.
"Someone has attacked us. "
The guard feebly spoke.
" Fast, send someone to save us!! " The guard started to scream.
Alice shuts up the guard mouth by her hand, putting all force she can yet the guard continues to scream.
"Bu… . Bu… Bu… .. Bu!! " He tried to speak.
"Hello.. Can you hear us? We are sending help to you. " The man behind the speaker informs him.
"Shit. " Alice quietly cursed.
Noah pulled out the knife from his chest without any pain, he looked at knife blood before he spoke.
She stabs in the guard neck making him dead like his other partner.
"So what should we do now? I think that the guard would come before our boat. "
Alice still didn't answer, she looked around to find anything in her use. Noah sighs from Alice's stubborn behavior.
She noticed Noah sigh yet still just took the knife from his hand without asking him.
Out of nowhere a bright light flashes in their eyes, Noah closes the light by his hand, on the other Alice looks towards the sea. She saw a yacht boat coming towards them.
"We should escape. "
Alice again didn't respond to Noah, the surprising part is that she is not even moving after seeing the mysterious yacht boat.
The yacht stops, Noah steps back, his hand now becomes fist.
From the yacht someone came out, a man wearing a red cloak and a masked figure with two hollow round eyes masks.
Noah lowered his guard by seeing them, he started walking towards the yacht. When he turned around, he saw Alice still standing there, not moving a single muscle.
"Are you serious right now Alice? It's just a God damn work. I even apologize for it multiple times. " Noah started to get irritated from her behavior.
"She is only here to drop you, after that she is gonna go back to Washington and stay there for more days. " The masked figure behind Noah replied to his question.
Noah thinks for a moment.
"Looks like we are not gonna meet again as I will leave this organization. It's been a good time being your partner and I am really sorry."
Even after Noah thanks and apologized to her, Alice still didn't reply.
Noah exhales, turns around, going to the yacht.
Suddenly someone yells at them.
"Stop right there!! "
When Noah turned around he saw multiple coastal guards running towards them, Noah rushed inside the yacht.
"Take care of yourself. "
The soft voice of Alice froze Noah for a moment, he softly smiled. "Yeah. "
After he gets inside, the masked figure swiftly closes the door. The yacht aircraft propeller started, rotating hastily.
Not even a second later, it started to slice through the water.
Noah breathes in relief, when he turns around he sees Wolf Superior in his dress, sitting there in the wall - mounted folding seat.
"Hi. " Noah awkwardly spoke. "Pretty sad to hear that your brother is dead. "
Wolf superior didn't say anything, staying silent, his hand on his thighs, looking down on the floor, thinking something.
