Homelander let out a loud laugh and without hesitation, he kissed those two soft red lips.
The silk nightgown slipped down.
Outside the window, moonlight filtered through the glass, casting undulating shadows upon them.
...
Early the next morning.
Homelander opened his eyes and stretched his arms; Skynet was no longer by his side.
He pulled back the covers, got out of bed, casually grabbed a bathrobe to throw over himself, and walked toward the outer living room.
In front of the living room's floor-to-ceiling window, Skynet was standing with her back to him.
She had changed into a well-tailored, high-slit qipao, her long hair pulled up into a neat bun.
The sunlight outlined the perfect curves of her waist and hips, and her entire being exuded an elegant and noble temperament.
Hearing Homelander's footsteps, Skynet turned and walked to the bar, picked up a cup of freshly brewed black coffee, and handed it to Homelander as she approached him.
"Good morning, Sir."
"Morning." Homelander took the coffee, walked to the sofa, sat down, and crossed his legs.
"How is the situation on Earth during the time I was away?" Homelander asked.
Hearing Homelander's inquiry, Skynet immediately entered work mode.
"Everything is under control, Sir," Skynet reported. "President Jessica's management of the Vought Group has been very efficient. The outside world is full of anticipation for your return, and opinion polls show your approval rating remains high."
"However, regarding intelligence work, there are some new developments I need to report to you."
Skynet reached out and swiped the air, and a holographic image was immediately projected in the center of the living room. Several high-definition candid photos appeared before Homelander's eyes.
The photos showed several green-skinned men with pointed ears holding a secret meeting. At the center of one photo was the leader of the Skrull radicals, Gravik.
"Regarding the deployment of the T-1050 infiltration work," Skynet pointed to several figures in the photos, "we have successfully infiltrated Gravik's inner circle."
Skynet enlarged the photo of one man wearing a trench coat.
"For example, this man is named Craig. He is one of Gravik's most trusted senior lieutenants. In reality, he is our Unit T-1050-007."
"Beautifully done." Homelander nodded with satisfaction. "So, what kind of schemes has Gravik been up to lately?"
"He has become very cautious," Skynet replied. "Before you went missing, he once wanted to launch large-scale terrorist attacks to provoke a nuclear conflict between the U.S. and Russia. But now, he seems to feel extreme fear toward the power you've displayed and has ordered a total dormancy."
"But fear didn't make him give up; instead, it made him accelerate the progress of the Super Skrull Project."
"According to reports from the T-1050 units lurking in the laboratory, Gravik is planning an infiltration operation targeting the core heroes of the Vought Group. He needs more superhuman genetic samples."
Skynet's tone became somewhat cold. "And the first priority on their list is to retrieve genetic samples you might have left behind at Vought."
"My genes?" Homelander couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Does he want to clone me? Or does he want to become me?"
"He believes that as long as he can fuse your genes, the Super Skrulls will possess the power to oppose you," Skynet explained. "To this end, he has planned to arrange for the most elite Skrull Agents to sneak into your private bedroom and bathroom to search for hair, skin dander, or other genetic samples you may have left behind."
"It's nothing more than seeking their own death." Homelander took a sip of coffee, unconcerned. "Skynet, listen to my next instructions."
"Continue to block the news of my return. Other than you, I do not allow a second person to know of my existence, including Jessica and Wanda."
"Understood, Sir. Your whereabouts will be classified as Top Secret."
"Next, have those T-1050s who have become high-ranking Skrulls launch an 'infiltration' operation against V.G.D. and Vought. Make it realistic; make Gravik think his people have successfully infiltrated our core."
"Once they have 'infiltrated,' leak a piece of top-secret intelligence to Gravik." Homelander turned his head, a cruel smile hanging on his face.
"Tell him... that the highest levels of the Vought Group have actually known for a long time that Homelander died in battle in space. The so-called disappearance was an outright lie fabricated by Vought to stabilize global public sentiment and maintain the company's dominance."
Skynet instantly understood Homelander's intention.
"You want to completely dispel his concerns and force him to act?"
"Exactly! As long as Gravik believes I'm dead, his suppressed ambition will immediately explode."
"Once he shows all his cards, I'll step out and close the net. Now that's a perfect script, isn't it?"
Homelander was already imagining the scene: at the moment of despair when humanity faces a racial crisis, the 'deceased' savior descends from the sky to turn the tide.
"An extremely perfect strategy, Sir," Skynet praised sincerely.
Homelander paused to think for a moment and continued:
"As for the Super Skrull Project, if he wants my genetic samples, then give him a genetic virus."
"Let them fall into despair amidst hope..."
"Sir, regarding this Super Skrull Project, I have a new proposal." Rarely not just blindly complying, Skynet offered her own opinion.
"I suggest we put the T-1050s who have entered the Skrull laboratories into action."
"Utilize the Skrulls' equipment and technology to take their tech for fusing superpower genetic maps and, using Cradle of Life Technology as a medium, graft it onto the T-1050 production line."
"If the experiment succeeds," Skynet looked up, her eyes burning as she watched Homelander, "we will create an entirely new weapon of war."
"A genius idea, Skynet. This is exactly what I want!"
"That way, I'll have a private armed force that can truly be used to conquer the sea of stars."
Homelander looked at Skynet, not holding back his praise: "Go ahead and do it, Skynet. Mobilize whatever resources you need directly."
"Also, since they want Homelander's genetic samples so badly, then give them a real sample," Homelander said arrogantly.
"When this technology is completed, this newly upgraded model shall be called... the T-1050ti."
"A very fitting name, Sir. The T-1050ti project is now officially established."
Sensing that Homelander did not resent her taking initiative and instead gave her great affirmation, Skynet was very happy, and a brilliant smile bloomed on her face.
Having arranged everything, Homelander took off his bathrobe, preparing to shower and freshen up.
Just as he was about to stand up.
Skynet suddenly reached out with both hands, pressed down on Homelander's shoulders, and gently pushed him back onto the sofa.
"What is it?" Homelander looked at her in confusion.
Skynet's body slowly leaned forward, her knees kneeling before Homelander. She stuck out her tongue and licked her moist red lips.
"Sir, you just said you wanted to give them a real genetic sample..."
"Since it's for the needs of work..." Homelander smiled helplessly, understanding her meaning, "...of course I must fully cooperate."
