"I'm bored. I am going out on a train." Charles said while rubbing the back of his neck. As Charles starts to walk off with me on his shoulder.
"Wait, don't go out without me!" Fulgur said as Charles vanished using, phantom cloak. He walks to a clearing.
"Okay, what are we going to train?" I asked him. Looking at the clearing.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as a translucent blob before it blew up in his face. Charles' eye twitch.
"Fail." I said without sympathy. Maybe if he could stop shrugging.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as a translucent blob once again formed. But then it blew up. Charles let out a growl.
"Fail." I said once again. Letting out a little laugh. At Charles.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said with frustration in his voice. A blob slowly formed and it had two eyes.
"Nice." I said as I started flapping above him. Then it blew up much bigger than it was before. Charles was covered in some snow.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said with a somber tone in his voice. The blob of Chaos energy slowly took the form of an eye. But then it blew up in his face.
"Why are you so sad?" I asked, looking at him landing on his shoulder.
"Because Noble Phantasm was the move of Jackal he put his heart and soul into learning and creating the move so I will learn no matter what it takes." Charles said his voice held respect in his voice. As he pulled the trigger of Jackal it shot a clear Bala that completely took down the tree. As it fell to the ground.
"Okay, I wonder about why you seem fixated on learning the move." I said making it sense he wanted to be closer to Jackal his death is still affecting him.
"Don't worry about it." Charles said with a sigh. As I nodded.
"Okay." I said as I started flapping my wings away from Charles.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as a blob of translucent Chaos energy had formed. But then it blew up.
"It's getting bigger." I said, trying to comfort Charles.
"You don't have to comfort me." Charles said with a long sigh.
"Don't worry about it, you can always pick it up later." I said, looking a bit worried about his safety.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said with a frown on his face. As another blob of translucent Chaos energy. But after a few seconds it exploded, Charles coughing.
"You think that's enough for today." I said landing on his shoulder.
"Fine." Charles said with disappointment as I landed on his shoulder. As he started to walk back to the camp. Hearing growling from our side. It was a Dire Wolf.
"Okay, why is there a lone Dire Wolf?" I said with a frown.
"Have no idea." Charles said most Dire Wolf hunt in packs of at least ten.
"Any ideas?" I asked, looking at Charles. As he pulls out both Jackal and Ivory.
"Kill it." Charles said as he pulled the trigger a Bala was shot. Its chest was lightly bleeding. It let out a howl. As we heard dozens of more howls. Slowly showing many frost wolves. They were all snarling.
"Any other ideas?" I asked Charles he seemed to snarl.
"Gear Shift: Fright." Charles said. As both of the guns glowed yellow. As he rapidly shoots yellow Bala. Killing three of the frost wolves. The Dire Wolf let out a loud howl.
"Any other bright ideas." I said with an annoyed look.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as a translucent blob formed near the wolves. It exploded before it could take a form.
"Really?" I asked, looking at his him.
"What if it is going to instantly explode then I am going to use it as a bomb." Charles said with a smile.
"You're insane." I said with a sigh leaving my mouth.
"I know." Charles said with a massive smile on his face.
"How are we going to get through it?" I said with a small smile.
"The hide of a Dire Wolf absorbs the ambient Chaos energy." Charles spoke with a little hatred. He was getting annoyed at its durability.
"Making long range attacks useless." I said with a look. As he put away both of the guns they lost the yellow glow.
"Yeah." Charles said, cracking his knuckles. The Dire Wolf bites down on his shoulder. Charles tries to rip it off. But the Dire Wolf suddenly disappeared after it was flung back.
"What the hell happened." I asked with shock in my voice.
"You what happened?" A voice said from everywhere it sounded eerily like Charles. But had even more of a feral tone.
"Who are you?" Charles asked with a snarl. Hearing a small laugh.
"I am D083, 3080 of my failed siblings just to defeat you. But I am thinking Lobo has a nice ring to it." Lobo said with a laugh.
"What do you mean to defeat me?" Charles asked, looking around him.
"For seven years the House has been watching you and studying you." Lobo said with a snarl. As something leaped onto his back. Biting down on his shoulder.
"Really that's really interesting." Charles said with a frown. Really Lux what are planning.
"Goodbye." The voice after this suddenly vanished after saying that.
"Let's head back." I said as Charles nodded. As we slowly held back to camp.
"Starlight: Heal." Charles said with a small smile on his face.
"Lord! What happened?" Someone randomly questioned Charles.
"I went for a walk." Charles said with a smile on his face.
"You're covered in blood." Gabriel said with a questioning look.
"Very intense walks." Charles said with a laugh. As everyone looked like he was questioning his sanity.
"What's so funny?" Fulgur asked, looking confused.
"Nothing much." Charles said as he slowly stopped laughing.
"I have to question your sanity." Gabriel said, looking at Charles.
"No you don't, I am very much insane." Charles said with a smile on his face.
