Even though the mountain ranges dividing the Mercenaries' Lodge into three long pieces naturally were cruel enough to prevent large-scale armies and human convoys from passing, this in no way meant they were insurmountable.
Especially if the one wanting this was Nafız and she had learned Alyon was kidnapped by a subordinate of their arch-enemies, she would pierce through the mountain ranges and pass right through them if necessary. Of course, there was no need for this; when the Blood God saw the obstacle rising hundreds of meters long and completely straight, she responded to this with Orc Blood Techniques - Wild Creature Transformation.
The wings extending from her back to her two sides might not have been as majestic as Bürküt's wings, but the aura they radiated was divine. Nafız, fueling herself using the power in her blood to reach the peak, was advancing like a comet and would reach the point she wanted within minutes at most, but she suddenly stopped for an unknown reason.
She flapped her wings harshly once, and after distancing herself a few meters from the giant rock block, she began to carefully examine its surface. She hadn't noticed due to her speed, but she was surprised when she saw the mouths of tunnels a human could comfortably travel through. When she saw there were hundreds of these, she understood there was something weird going on here.
"Come out, show yourself!"
The voice entering the tunnels echoed for meters and advanced, but even though ten seconds passed, no response came. Nafız raised a single eyebrow; she was in a hurry and couldn't continue due to the weird feeling she got from here.
"The owner of the blood essence energy belonging to me, no, belonging to Mora, come here immediately or I will come inside!"
This time, footsteps coming from one of the tunnels began to be heard, then hundreds of sounds rose from the other tunnels at the same time. Whoever or whatever Nafız called out, they were coming. Half a minute later a shadow appeared at the tunnel mouths illuminated by the moonlight; its body possessed a human form, but it seemed hesitant to show its face.
"So it was you!"
"Yes, it's me!"
Nafız had recognized who it was anyway, and the one opposite her also knew her identity.
"Were you here all this time? Did you hide yourself in a place like this?"
"I had to, I couldn't live like before anymore!"
When the person hiding in the shadows took a step forward, the moonlight revealed all its secrets. Along with it, the owners of the other footsteps also appeared at the tunnel mouths.
"I understand, but despite everything, it seems you managed to form your own army!"
"I was waiting for the day you would come to these lands, and I am very happy to see that I have achieved my goal. What are your orders?"
Along with the person dropping to one knee, all the other shadows at the tunnel mouths dropped to one knee too.
"Help the Hell Realm army at the place they call the Death Pass when necessary, and win the lands belonging to your race!"
"At your command!"
A breath later Nafız continued her journey towards the peak of the obstacle that seemed insurmountable; along with her, the shadows retreated inside the tunnels again. An hour had passed after the weird encounter, and Nafız arrived at the Central Region.
Reaching the peak from the base of the massive rock mass took exactly an hour and a half, and it was almost impossible for an army whose numbers exceeded thousands to achieve this. The border naturally separating the Mercenaries' Lodge from each other was such a thing; nature sometimes wanted to handle everything itself.
After the arduous climb, if it were someone else they might have felt the need to rest, but Nafız continued to advance at the same speed, even increasing it. The news she received didn't allow her to be comfortable for even a moment; she kept spending the power she stored in her body, in her blood, unsparingly.
There was a region she had to cross and an obstacle consisting of mountain ranges naturally separating it from the Northern Region again. As the early hours of the morning passed, she saw some silhouettes from afar; everywhere was pitch black, but the Blood God could clearly see there was an army camp there.
This place having emerald-colored stripes on its tents belonged to the enemy; as she got closer, seeing it was an advance camp of a hundred soldiers at most, the blood energy taking shape on Nafız's legs began to cover her whole body. The Blood God, having chosen a transformation that increased speed from within the Orc Blood Techniques - Wild Creature Transformation, was changing shape right now.
While the blood energy leaving her body reshaped around her, a herd of bison crossing the desolate plains en masse began to slowly take shape. The Blood God was living up to her name; continuing to process the released blood energy, she headed towards the enemy camp together with dozens of animals.
"Commander, a herd of wild creatures is coming!"
The leader of the military force examining the map with his staff inside the tent in the middle of the camp was startled by the voice of his guard, but a second later he shouted in anger.
"Don't speak nonsense soldier, wasn't the wild creature population terminated in this region years ago?"
The Emerald Leaf Guild had broken the lineages of wild creatures in order to ensure the security of the area under their control, and there weren't many wild creatures living on the Mercenaries' Lodge anyway. Trade was the most important thing; the balance of nature or the continuity of species meant nothing to them.
"Sir, a blood-colored herd is approaching, and judging by their speed, they intend to trample us!"
Suspecting his subordinate's insistence despite his angry voice, the commander rushed out of his tent with rage; his fist was prepared to come down on the guard's head, but when he saw Nafız coming to stab the dark chest of the night like a knife, he froze.
"Take defensive formation!"
He could only say these three words and could throw himself behind the small hill consisting of munitions because the herd belonging to the Blood God had started to flatten the camp. The soldiers raided and caught off guard couldn't even find the opportunity to resist; even if a few tried this, the casualties they caused were limited to the fingers of one hand.
Not much later, ten seconds later, Nafız was thousands of steps away, but the bison consisting of blood energy, after destroying the camp, turned back and began to wander inside it. It was time for the soldiers to respond; swords, spears, arrows, and mechanical devices capable of fixed energy attacks were ready to fire, but at that moment something they never expected happened.
The blood bison Nafız created began to explode one after another and literally tore to pieces whatever was around them like small bombs. Dozens of explosions occurred inside the camp, and the munitions affected by this, acting as a fragmentation bomb, caused anyone breathing to die.
One of the advance units of the Emerald Leaf Merchant Guild was destroyed within seconds, and there was no evidence for those who would investigate the cause. When Nafız's life energy returned to the earth, only the dismembered corpses belonging to their own soldiers were left around.
For Nafız reaching the mountain ranges, which were the second border line, what happened had no importance; the soldiers she killed were no different from an insect she had to step on. Her friend's life was in danger, his fate was unknown; with the tension created by this situation, she continued to fly unceasingly until she reached the Northern Region.
When she set foot on the ground two hours later, she headed to the facility whose location she received news of; when she reached the last mountain on her route as the sun rose, she had moved almost faster than the Peregrine, the fastest communication tool.
It was impossible to calculate the blood energy she spent; if it weren't for the Lineage Power God Bürküt bestowed upon her, it would be out of the question for her to achieve this. Even the person Mora used to be couldn't spend blood energy so audaciously; the current Nafız was on a completely different level.
When she entered through the pass hidden inside the mountain, she didn't stop; she neither saw the pool the orcs swam in nor paid attention to the secret door. She was traveling between floors by shattering the rock blocks, and when she finally descended to the Research Floor, a giant hole had been opened inside the mountain.
