Chapter 569 - Beş Yüz Altmış Dokuz

Even though it looked like the embodiment of uncertainty, Bookworm couldn't help considering that it comfortably passed through the barrier they couldn't overcome. Whatever he pulled back, the sand, the poison, and the piercing metal balls were all swirling around it; it was the target, and obviously, this thing was White Well's secret trump card.

"Watch out son, it is him! The apostle who kidnapped the Master!"

Bookworm's eyes widened. While he thought the one before him was one of the test subjects of the man who was the Chief Researcher of Facility 731, his father was saying completely different things. Alyon wanted to say one more thing, but after taking the punch of the orc three times his size, his feet were swept off the ground and he kept flying until he crashed into the energy barrier.

"Yes, an Apostle of the Master. Therefore, surrender nicely, and I will promise you a painless experiment process!"

White Well began to speak condescendingly again; his trump card gave him the right to do this. Following what he heard, Bookworm spread the Sandstorm to cover a five-pace area, and his Power Animal King Cobra covered him with its whole body, eliminating his visibility.

"Nice, nice! Hide, my favorite thing is hiding!"

The hiss-like words coming from the black silhouette caused even King Cobra to flinch. The Power Animal turned its golden head to it and bared its fangs. It knew there was a predator more dangerous than itself in the environment, and its animalistic instincts had kicked in to drive it away.

In the face of the threat of something many times larger than itself, the silhouette turned into a shadow again and moved towards the inside of the Sandstorm. It seems King Cobra was far from being a deterrent to it; it was fearlessly diving into the death zone created by the enemy.

At the same time, Alyon getting back to his feet was welcoming the massive enemy charging at him step by step, and the Orc Chief had the weapon he just dropped to the ground in his hand. Even though he was worried about his son, he had to destroy the enemy before him first; otherwise, he could neither help him nor protect his own life.

He began to sprint towards the creature he couldn't affect with his lineage power; the two rivals were advancing towards each other at top speed. If the collision occurred, it wasn't hard to predict the result; whoever had the smaller mass would come off worse, and Alyon had used the advantage of this countless times.

This time he was the disadvantaged party, and using his brain not diluted by experiments, he changed direction with one step left. While passing by the left leg of the creature, he buried the cutting part of his war hammer into the enemy's flesh.

Not being affected by lineage power was one thing, facing the attack of Alyon who gathered all his aura on his weapon was another. When the orc dropping to one knee due to the opened cut let out a cry of pain, Alyon spun on his own axis wanting to land another blow, but the enemy responding with its fist wouldn't allow this.

Whatever happens, Alyon, seeing the enemy could take damage now, didn't stop; the blood on his weapon after the collision that sent him tumbling steps away as well was proof that he achieved success. Once he discovered he could damage it, there was no need to wait; he would attack, attack, attack, and strike until he killed it.

This was the plan in his mind, but a breath later he saw the only trick of the orc three times his size wasn't its size. The wound on its leg had healed in the blink of an eye, and its fist damaged down to the bone looked as if nothing happened.

"You will die today, Great Orc Chief Alyon! Your son will be a puppet taking the head of my army, and I will make the Orc Steppes my own personal experiment area!"

White Well finally stated his ultimate goal, declaring that today was the day of death for Alyon who managed to cut the giant orc in a few places every time. Looking from the outside, he wasn't wrong; it was noticeable that Alyon's movements, who had to fight with his full strength constantly against a rival with a mind-boggling healing speed, were slowing down.

"Apostle, hurry up!"

On the other hand, the Apostle turning into a shadow was continuing to advance inside the Sandstorm, the first protection shield. Its speed was also low like Alyon's; this was the only method for it to advance without taking a blow among the sand grains, poisonous specks, and piercing spheres swirling without following any route.

The war in the third energy area was also living its last moments; the test subject orcs couldn't withstand the energy balls. Their deaths sometimes happened in an instant and sometimes took a long time, but ultimately when the last one fell to the ground, the Nameless Ten declared their victory.

"Chief Alyon!"

When the Leader of the Nameless Ten saw the war waged by two people from the same family in different areas, he first turned to Alyon's side, who was exhausted from cutting his enemy. It was impossible to understand what was happening in the other area; things impossible to notice just by looking were happening.

"Attack the barrier, and if you manage to get out, take down that bastard!"

The order was final; the Nameless Ten lined up on a single line and began to attack the same area. No matter how strong the energy barrier was, ultimately it was only as durable as the amount of energy it possessed, and right now a large amount of energy expenditure was being experienced for repairs every second.

"What if you get out of that barrier? It is impossible for you to pass this wall between us!"

White Well was confident; when the Nameless Ten managed to break the barrier separating them from the others and got out, he didn't even react. The Leader of the Nameless Ten looked at where Alyon was; should they break the barrier of that part?

If it were up to their own will, they might have done so, but Chief Alyon had ordered them to go after the Chief Researcher. They moved right across the man who took off his white coat and began to attack the area covered by his body.

"Keep going, entertain me!"

White Well was confident; he wasn't even neglecting to look at the area his target was in amidst all those attacks because there was a major development there too. The Apostle turning into a shadow had overcome the first obstacle, and now it was its turn to deal with King Cobra.

The two wild creatures were looking into each other's eyes; Bookworm must have weakened as he maintained the Sandstorm for a long time; if it bypassed the Power Animal, it could take its prey between its claws.

"Hold on son!"

While Alyon's attention was there, his enemy attacked once more; it had caught such an opportunity before and caught him off guard, and its aim was to repeat this, but unlike it, the Orc Chief possessed the ability to make plans. When it bent its body forward to strike its fist, he stepped aside, climbed on top of the creature three times his size in two steps, and gripping its neck with both hands, he began to squeeze.

The orc, the product of experiments, was thrashing, wanting to throw him off, pounding his back with its fists, but to no avail; Alyon had gripped its neck like a vise. When the enemy, unable to stop its momentum, ran and smashed itself into the energy barrier, ripples occurred on the transparent shield covering the whole area.

The creature staggered backward because it took heavy damage; this was the result when it tried to overcome the energy area directly with its body, but within seconds its wounds were closing. As Alyon squeezed its throat, it was trying to escape, and it didn't hesitate to smash itself against the barrier once more.

The massively sized orc, acting entirely on animalistic instincts, had entered flight mode upon exiting fight mode. To achieve this, it didn't hesitate to use its superior regenerative capacity, and after ten blows, the area separating them from the others had to collapse.

"Chief Alyon!"

The Nameless Ten attacking according to the order they received, upon seeing Alyon's state collapsing to the ground from the creature's back, suddenly directed their attacks to his enemy, and knowing its superior regenerative abilities, they severed its legs and left it immobilized.

"Bookworm!"

Even though the orc warriors surrounding him focused all their attention on him, Alyon couldn't take his eyes off the area his son was in because the body of King Cobra, the last line of defense, had been flung to the other end of the area.
