Chapter 565 - Beş Yüz Altmış Beş

Alyon didn't speak; together with a half-naked man appearing right beside him, he headed towards the left side. The axe, the traditional weapon of orcs, appeared in his hand, and the long-blonde-haired man had already drawn his sword.

Bookworm was predicting this; the number of guards at the door wasn't enough to appease his father's anger. As far as they saw from the platform, there were about a hundred cell-shaped experiment rooms, and everyone using these places during the day should be in their residences to rest right now.

When Alyon and his Power Animal entered a long tunnel, they didn't slow down; whether this self-confidence was from the robots inspecting the path beforehand or from them going to commit a massacre is unknown, but when they opened the door at the end of the path, they couldn't take another step forward.

Moonlight was illuminating their faces, and they weren't the only ones benefiting from this pleasant favor. The giant orc raised his head to examine the place he newly arrived; he had difficulty believing he was in a facility carved inside a mountain just a moment ago.

It was as if he was in the streets of Parthenia on a crowded night. There were people everywhere; men, women, children were laughing and having fun. In the streets between the two-story houses, the lights of the shops were on, and the sellers were smiling while welcoming the customers.

"Alyon, what kind of place is this?"

Even Wrestler, who described himself as Conan the Barbarian, was in amazement; how could there be such a place inside the facility where all sorts of torments were inflicted on orcs and where they were produced as test subjects? Did the researchers live in this miniature city when they weren't working too?

The two questions, after wandering in Alyon's mind for a while, found their answers and disappeared. What need was there to hesitate? The Empire of Machines, with its resources, possessed the means to create such a settlement.

"You will guard the door, do not let anyone go out!"

"What do you mean anyone? What about the women, the children?"

Alyon stuck his axe into the ground and took out one of his javelins, which he had newly started using, from his interspatial ring. He brought the weapon he gripped from its shaft with his right hand to his shoulder level, and right after, taking two large steps, he hurled it forward.

The moonlight seemed to gather on the weapon of the same color as itself; it was like a comet advancing in the darkness. Of course, the journey of the javelin wouldn't last this long; after entering the body of the man winding pink-colored clouds onto a thin stick, it stopped by embedding into a wall, collecting whoever was on its path.

There were five human bodies on it; two of these were women, one was a child, and the other two were men. Wrestler had gotten the answer to his question; Alyon was attacking using the weapons that managed to hold back a General Class soldier.

It was impossible not to get the message; punishment would be served, and no one would be deprived of this. The people around those who died hadn't even understood what happened when they lost their lives along with three consecutive javelin attacks.

Alyon took his axe he stuck into the ground into his hand; even his using an axe instead of his war hammer was proof that he was here for the revenge of the orcs. His wrath was at the highest possible point; not too far, just a hundred paces away, while orcs were being massacred with the cruelest methods possible, they were living here in joy.

Perhaps many of them didn't even know what was happening, but right now this had no importance for Alyon; his energy, leaving his body and rising to the sky as a black pillar of light, had taken under its influence whoever was within a hundred paces.

Children were collapsing to the ground one by one; they had no chance of enduring Warrior's Wrath, an event strong enough to kill even adults. Most were dying at the moment of the first shock, but then the sight created by their delicate bodies exploding wasn't something adults could endure.

"My son!"

"My daughter!"

"What did you do to my grandchild?"

Alyon had tightly embraced the principle of answering questions with actions today. His axe first pruned those who opened their mouths, but right after came the backs of those trying to escape.

"Security, where are you?"

"Soldiers, help!"

The researchers, who were quite brave while treating the defenseless orcs however they wanted, were forced to ask for help in the face of Alyon threatening their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Their calls wouldn't remain unanswered; twenty fully equipped soldiers were coming along with their weapons surrounded by colorful energies.

"Die!"

The javelins coming out from where they were embedded were flying and coming to Alyon's hand, and the giant-sized orc didn't wait even a second to direct them to their next targets. The soldiers trying to parry the attack with their shields wouldn't understand they made the mistake of their lives until they died together with a friend.

Before they could even approach the target, their numbers were almost halved, and Alyon's axe, burning with the fire of battle, would take the rest out of the equation in a single stroke. A manhunt was beginning for those other than the ones who managed to flee to their homes; a single orc warrior had caused the people in the settlement to scatter in fear.

Some of them, especially the researchers, had the sense to flee towards the door opening to the cells where they conducted experiments. In a normal time, this would be the most logical choice, but the feelings of pity of the half-naked man waiting for them there had also been removed.

The thick broadsword, tapering towards the tip, entered through the shoulder of the woman screaming 'get out of my way' and cut a large part of her body. Even though their relationship with Alyon had been tense, even competitive since the beginning, Wrestler had never left any job given to him unfinished.

He gave the same answer to the researchers who took courage from his weird appearance and wanted to attack him with the weapons in their hands, and while doing this, he didn't take into consideration neither gender nor age range. When the number of people dying at his hands exceeded twenty, the people, understanding this place wasn't salvation either, began to flee backward. Their new target was the lake into which the small waterfall on the left side of the settlement poured.

"Alyon, some are running towards the pond. They might have a shelter to hide!"

There was no need for Wrestler to speak or shout to communicate with the person ensuring his existence. No matter how many obstacles there were between them, the things passing through his mind and the images he wanted Alyon to see too reached him at the same time.

Receiving the news, Alyon headed towards the group trying to reach the small waterfall with a speed not expected from his size. A race had started; either they or Alyon would arrive first, and in this race where which side of the thin line between life and death they would remain would be determined, the humans were in the lead.

"Chief's Wrath!"

Aware of this, Alyon used Chief's Wrath, its second level, to increase the area his lineage power affected. Even if they had a hope until that moment, for the humans whose bodies stopped moving, there was no escape anymore.

The children first died and then were torn to pieces within seconds, and the lucky ones among the adults joined them. As for the others, they died in the shadow of Alyon's axe. While the pond reflected the glitters of the stars minutes ago, it now bore the traces of a bloody dawn.

"You think I can't find you when you flee to your homes, is that so?"

When Alyon returned to the settlement, there were more than two hundred residences before him, and if he attempted to search them all one by one, it wasn't possible for him to finish this within a day. When fighting and fleeing didn't work, the Orc Chief, deciding to keep up with the people hiding by changing tactics, took two steps back after hurling a sphere the size of his own fist through the window of the two-story structure inside.

Before ten seconds passed, a small-scale explosion occurred, and right after, red fire pieces flaring up like a flash in the pan began to overflow outside the window. Alyon, setting the house on fire, continued to do this to all the buildings on the same row; now the people had only two choices, they would either stay inside the house and burn or go outside and die.
