Chapter 563 - Beş Yüz Altmış Üç

Even though humans sent the bodies of the orcs, which had become unrecognizable, into the unknown together with the waters resembling a waterfall pouring from the facility into the sea, the orcs left the researcher's corpse where it was. They didn't begrudge at least this much respect for someone providing them with the necessary information and began planning to pass to the second phase of the First Floor.

"We will have a limited time from the moment the door opens. We must neutralize the remaining eight researchers as soon as possible so they don't issue a warning to the lower floors!"

When Bookworm, the first name coming to mind when a plan was mentioned, began listing the things on his mind, the other orcs, even though Alyon was among them, preferred to stay silent. The one speaking, swaying the sleeves of his purple robe, was one of the strongest names of the Orc Empire, and even if they wanted to, they couldn't compete with him in position or intelligence.

"Father, you will enter from the front and advance by spreading your Lineage Power to the widest possible area. Nameless Ten, you are tasked with advancing behind Chief Alyon and killing the immobilized researchers. I will find and destroy the targets that have a possibility of escaping us with my golden sands!"

After planning everything, the orcs began to wait. Not even two hours had passed since the disappearance of the two researchers they had just killed, and they laid an ambush in front of the door in hopes that someone would come after them.

Every one of the eight researchers decreased would make their job easier when they entered inside; their aim was to reduce the number in the easiest way possible, but even though two hours passed, no one was looking for the dead researchers.

"If we wait a little more, they might understand something is going wrong. We cannot take this risk; get ready, we're going in!"

When Bookworm stepped next to the dark-colored rock the assistant pointed out and gave the order, the Nameless Ten also took their places behind Alyon standing at the entrance of the door. The real struggle was beginning; the orcs tightly gripping their weapons, accompanied by deadly gazes, were waiting for the rocks to move.

When Bookworm operated the mechanism, the bright light began to illuminate the dark corner of the area where the material crates were lined up in heaps, and the bloodthirsty orcs quickly entered inside.

"If you didn't come a little longer, I was going to come there and break your heads. Where have you been, you incompetent fools?"

The goatee-bearded man carrying ten pens in different colors in the pocket of his white coat began grumbling when the door opened, but he froze when he saw the green-skinned orcs instead of his two coworkers. While the package he carried in his arms slipped from his hands, along with his astonishment in this state, Alyon's Lineage Power, Warrior's Wrath, also had a great share.

When the arrow shot by the Deputy Leader of the Nameless Ten blew his head off, number six specializing in speed caught the package before it fell to the ground. The number of assistants needing to be killed within a total of three seconds had dropped to seven, but Bookworm observing the situation from the very back wasn't sure they could maintain this speed.

The shelves reaching a height of three humans were lined up transversely in a regular order, and even if not as much as the first area they entered, this place was too large for them to cope with by wandering together. Fortunately, the purple-robed orc was prepared for changing situations; he gave his order to the eight-legged robots waiting on his shoulders.

"Kill every human you see!"

The matte black robots advancing with clicking sounds were on duty as auxiliary force; even if he couldn't use them without seeing those behind the door, Michelangelo's inventions could make their job easier now.

"Chief Alyon and the Nameless Ten take the right side, and I will advance from the left side!"

The orc forces attacking from three branches together with the dividing forces continued their attacks without slowing down after killing an assistant pushing a tool made of metal wires and having wheels under it in the first corridor.

Bookworm didn't hesitate to spread his golden sands tainted with purple poison; even if he couldn't resort to his Power Animal, the Lineage Power he acquired later was tailor-made for this job. The dead bodies of the people, whose voices didn't come out due to the poison on the sand thorns entering from the backs of the two chatting assistants and shattering their ribcages, were making a soft landing to the ground by the skill of the sand again.

The black robots weren't staying idle either; while wandering among their materials lined up on the high shelves, after splitting the skull of an assistant reaching out his hand to take them with their knife-sharp feet, they were also sending his coworker running there hearing the sound next to him.

Whether the orcs were too fast or the assistants not even thinking of the possibility of such an attack were incautious is unknown, but within minutes there was no one breathing left in the area except the orcs. While the members of the Nameless Ten killed the assistants Alyon left motionless with single and decisive moves like mowing the lawn, the other two fronts formed by Bookworm and the robots were completely fulfilling what fell upon them.

"Search the surroundings! There might be anything that will notify our presence, be careful!"

The Nameless Ten members were about to move when they saw Alyon's raised hand and stopped. The order wasn't for them; the robots moving fast on their eight legs would search the four corners of the area covered with shelves.

"There is still time until the shipment time, let's rest a bit too until then!"

Perhaps they hadn't engaged in great struggles, but the stress loaded onto their bodies by the long walk they sustained until coming here and the tension given by moving without knowing what would come out wasn't small enough to be underestimated. While it became certain they would set sail towards the unknown again before the day ended, dropping anchor and taking shelter from the winds in the safe harbor would be a logical move.

When the robots completed their searches and reported there was no situation to worry about, Bookworm summoned the Power Animal King Cobra and sat on his throne formed by the giant snake clustering. The eyes of the Nameless Ten members were shining; with its size, the golden details on its head, and the air it gave off, Bookworm's Power Animal was impossible not to arouse jealousy.

Even though Alyon's Power Animal Wrestler was one level higher than it, who could equate a human wandering half-naked with a snake the size of a small mountain? Moreover, the Nameless Ten members hadn't yet obtained the privilege of owning a Power Animal; the Orc Empire didn't let just anyone coming its way benefit from its dungeons it kept under strict control in order to maintain the power balances.

After a while, they too retreated to a corner and began to store energy for the rest of the day; even if no one knew, the First Floor had entered under the domination of the orc group. While the sun rays filling in through the gap two paces high and extending along the entire wall on the part of the mountain facing the sea hit their faces, they were victorious, they had survived the first phase without any problems, but as the hours progressed and the shadows of the shelves began to lengthen, the time to stand up again had come.

They had found the mechanism allowing them to go down to the lower floor and how they would operate it, but there was a minor problem. When Bookworm examined the system consisting of interconnected cogs and embedded into the rock, he saw this was only for going down, whereas the platform they would put the materials on was below. It was obvious that unless someone or some people from below wanted it, it was impossible for them to go down there, at least for assistants not having any special ability to achieve this was impossible.

The distance between the two floors was more than even the height of the First Floor; even though the orcs had a few solution methods to overcome this obstacle, they could wait for someone to send the platform up for them. From what he could see, the connection between the First Floor and the Second Floor called the Rejects' Floor was weak, and their interactions were nonexistent except for one-hour deliveries twice a day.

If there were, they wouldn't send up the platform that would bring their enemies who swore to drown them in their blood. The orcs, taking their places along with the sound the mechanism made when operating, took a stance as if they would attack at any moment. Whatever came before them, they were ready to destroy it.
