Chapter 241 - Chapter 241: The Legendary Eyes

Chapter 241: The Legendary Eyes

"Make ninjas disappear?"

Orochimaru looked at Yahiko with faint amusement.

"Kid, your ambition is enormous."

"You're not the first person to dream of something like that."

"But no one has ever succeeded."

His voice remained calm, but the meaning behind it was harsh.

"The ninja world runs on certain rules. When one person tries to challenge the entire world…"

"…that person is like an egg striking a stone."

Orochimaru studied Yahiko carefully.

The boy was stubborn.

Passionate.

But did he truly understand the nature of the shinobi world?

A ninja was not simply someone who learned a few techniques.

To truly become a ninja meant enduring everything—

Pain.

Hatred.

Betrayal.

Loss.

"Orochimaru, why are you crushing a child's confidence?" Tsunade said with a frown.

Ragnar continued eating quietly.

He did not interfere.

Yahiko had chosen his path.

Whether that path led to glory or tragedy, it was a road only Yahiko could walk.

As a teacher, Ragnar could guide.

But he could not choose for him.

Still—

Ragnar had already decided something.

The tragedies that once defined this story would not happen again.

Perhaps Yahiko could truly become someone capable of changing the world.

After all…

Fate was not absolute.

Yahiko did not retreat from Orochimaru's words.

Instead, he stood up angrily.

"If no one tries to change things," he said loudly, "then how can you say it's impossible?"

"One person may not have enough power."

"But I can find companions who share the same dream!"

"Together we can change the ninja world!"

Orochimaru's lips curved slightly.

"Then tell me," he said.

"What drives you to pursue something like this?"

"Why do you want to change the world?"

Yahiko lowered his head.

His fists tightened.

"Because I'm ordinary," he said quietly.

"I'm a war orphan."

"I know what it feels like to suffer like that."

"There are many children just like me."

"They must want the world to change too."

He lifted his head again.

His eyes burned with determination.

"One day, people will understand each other."

"They will forgive each other."

"Even if I fail…"

"My will can be passed on."

"And one day…"

"The ninja world will finally become united."

"The unity of the ninja world…" Orochimaru murmured softly.

For a moment, something strange stirred inside him.

Then he laughed quietly.

"Heh… it seems even I can be inspired by a child."

He opened his eyes again, a strange light shining within them.

"In that case, Yahiko…"

"I look forward to seeing how far you go."

"So make sure you stay alive long enough to try."

"Of course!" Yahiko replied confidently, giving himself a thumbs-up.

At that moment, Nagato—who had remained silent the entire time—finally spoke.

"Yahiko."

"I'll always stand behind you."

"I'll help you achieve that dream."

His voice was serious.

His red hair shifted slightly, revealing his eyes for a brief moment.

And in that instant—

Two ripple-patterned pupils appeared.

The Rinnegan.

Nagato quickly lowered his head again, hiding them beneath his hair.

But it was too late.

Tsunade had already seen it.

Her expression changed.

"Those eyes… white pupils with strange patterns…"

"They look familiar."

Orochimaru froze.

His pupils trembled violently.

He knew exactly what he had just seen.

The legendary eyes of the Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki.

The founder of ninjutsu.

"The Rinnegan…" Orochimaru whispered.

"Impossible."

"That should only exist in legend."

His heart raced.

How could such power appear in a child?

And an Uzumaki child at that?

Orochimaru slowly turned toward Ragnar.

Ragnar remained calm.

As if he had not noticed anything.

But Orochimaru knew better.

That wasn't coincidence.

Those eyes were real.

The legendary dojutsu said to surpass both the Sharingan and the Byakugan.

The eyes capable of creating—or destroying—the world.

If Nagato truly awakened their full power…

Even Ragnar might one day be surpassed.

The atmosphere inside the wooden house subtly changed.

Even Yahiko sensed the tension.

Nagato also realized something.

Perhaps they had seen his eyes.

Those eyes had always brought him trouble.

But at that moment, he wasn't thinking about that.

After hearing Yahiko's dream…

He simply wanted to help him achieve it.

The unity of the ninja world.

How beautiful that future would be.

After dinner ended, Konan and the others cleaned up the dishes.

Ragnar, Tsunade, and Orochimaru stepped outside the house.

The rain had grown lighter.

"I saw it," Ragnar said calmly.

"What?" Tsunade asked, confused.

"Nagato's eyes are strange."

"I feel like I've seen them somewhere before…"

She still hadn't connected the pieces.

Orochimaru laughed softly.

"Ye-kun has taken in an extraordinary student."

"If I'm not mistaken…"

"Those eyes belong to the Rinnegan."

"The same eyes possessed by the Sage of Six Paths himself."

"If that child grows up and truly masters their power…"

"He may surpass even you."

"What?! The Rinnegan?!" Tsunade exclaimed.

She had heard of the legend.

But she had never imagined seeing it with her own eyes.

Ragnar remained calm.

"The future is unpredictable," he said.

"Now that you know about the Rinnegan…"

"What are you thinking?"

Orochimaru smiled faintly.

"Normally, when someone sees such power…"

"…they would want to claim it for themselves."

"Especially when its owner is only a child."

His voice carried a hint of dark curiosity.

Suddenly—

Ragnar's expression turned cold.

"You would be seeking death."

Before Orochimaru could react—

A black blade appeared at his throat.

Ragnar had drawn the Yama Demonic Sword without a sound.

Cold sweat dripped from Orochimaru's forehead.

If Ragnar wished…

His head would already be on the ground.

"Ye-kun," Orochimaru said carefully.

"I'm your companion."

"I was only speaking hypothetically."

"That thought should never cross your mind," Ragnar replied.

"There are some things you must never touch."

Orochimaru nodded slowly.

The killing intent in Ragnar's voice was unmistakable.

After a moment of silence, Tsunade finally spoke.

"I don't think we should leave Nagato here alone."

She looked toward the wooden house.

"Maybe we should bring him back to Konoha."

"He could receive proper training there."

The rain continued to fall quietly.

And the future of Nagato—and the Rinnegan—hung in the balance.
