Chapter 50 - CHAPTER 50: DANCE OF FOREVER

KISS'S POV

The moment the music started, the world shifted.

The wedding hall had quieted from cheers and applause into soft, intimate notes, drifting over polished marble floors.

Couples swayed slowly, elegantly, as if the rest of the world had paused for them.

I glanced down at my dress—still gleaming from the ceremony, subtle in its folds now—and saw Adrian watching me.

That familiar sharp gaze softened.

He held out his hand, the simple gesture carrying the weight of promises and the thrill of danger.

"May I have this dance?" he asked, voice low, just for me.

I smiled, stepping into his arms, letting the warmth of his body anchor me. "Always."

The first step felt natural, almost magical. The floor beneath us disappeared.

Only him.

Only the rhythm of the music guiding us.

My hand rested lightly on his shoulder; his fingers curled around my waist with gentle precision.

"You're breathtaking," he murmured into my ear, breath warm, voice deep. "And I don't mean just tonight."

I tilted my head, letting my lips brush the shell of his ear. "And you?

You're infuriating," I whispered teasingly.

He chuckled, the sound vibrating against me, and pressed a slow, lingering kiss to my temple. "And yet… irresistible."

We moved together seamlessly, spinning gently, our hearts echoing each other's rhythm. Around us, guests paused to watch—noticing, whispering—but it didn't matter.

The rest of the world didn't exist.

"Do you know," he murmured, dipping me slightly before drawing me up again, "how long I've waited for this moment? Just you. Only you."

My chest tightened. I leaned closer, letting my forehead rest against his. "And I? I thought I was ready. But being in your arms now… I realize I've been waiting too."

He smiled, brushing a stray strand of hair behind my ear. "Then we've been patient together."

Time slowed. The music swelled around us, but I only heard him—felt him.

And then he kissed me. Soft at first, reverent, the kind of kiss that carried everything we had endured, every trial, every stolen glance, every near miss that had led us here.

The hall erupted in cheers when they noticed, but we barely noticed.

This was our moment, sealed in silent vows spoken only with the press of lips.

ADRIAN'S POV

Holding her like this, I felt complete. Every instinct, every plan, every danger in my life faded in the warmth of her body pressed to mine.

She smelled of roses and sunshine and something uniquely her—the scent of home, of war and peace all at once.

"You've made me too easy tonight," I whispered, pulling back slightly to look into her eyes, tracing the curve of her jaw with my thumb. "I can't stop myself."

She laughed softly, breathless.

"Good. I was hoping you wouldn't."

The world around us seemed to dissolve, leaving only the sound of our shared heartbeat.

I pressed another kiss to her temple, holding her close. "You're mine now," I murmured, voice low, magnetic. "And no one—no one—will ever take you from me."

She looked up, eyes sparkling, cheeks flushed. "I know. And you're mine too. Somehow… you've always been."

The last strains of music faded, but we stayed locked in each other's arms, letting the weight of the night sink in.

KISS'S POV (HONEYMOON)

We arrived at the villa for our honeymoon as twilight fell over the Mediterranean, painting the sky in pink and gold. The scent of salt and jasmine mingled, gentle and intoxicating.

I unpacked slowly, savoring the quiet after months of chaos. Every room seemed designed to make moments like this inevitable—soft linens, golden candlelight, and a view that stretched endlessly over the water.

Adrian disappeared into the bathroom, muttering something about a shower.

I seized the opportunity, opening a drawer to pull out something I had saved just for this night—a delicate, sultry set of silk and lace lingerie, carefully chosen, whispering promises without speaking a word.

I caught my reflection.

My heart raced—not just from nerves, but anticipation. The night was ours. Every glance, every touch, every kiss had been leading to this moment.

ADRIAN'S POV

I stepped out of the bath and froze.

There she stood.

Soft golden light played across her skin, the silk and lace falling perfectly.

The dress—or rather, the absence of one—made her glow, her curves accentuated by the gentle candlelight.

Her eyes met mine, bold and mischievous.

"You planned this," I said, stepping closer, voice a low growl.

She smiled softly. "Maybe I did.

Maybe I wanted to make sure you remembered who you married."

I swallowed. "Trust me. I will."

The distance between us disappeared in a heartbeat.

My hands traced her arms, shoulders, the small swell of her waist.

Every inch of her was mine to admire, cherish, and desire.

I pressed my lips to hers, slow at first, tasting, teasing.

She responded instantly, hands threading into my wet hair.

Every moment we'd waited—the tension, the teasing, the near misses—erupted into a single, electric connection.

I whispered against her lips, "I've wanted you… like this… forever."

Her breath hitched. "And I've wanted you."

The rest of the night became a blur of soft whispers, stolen kisses, and gentle exploration.

Every touch spoke louder than words. The villa echoed with the sound of laughter, sighs, and the quiet language only we shared.

By the time the first rays of sun kissed the horizon, we lay intertwined, hearts steadying, bodies exhausted but sated, wrapped in the reality we had fought for.

KISS'S POV

Lying there, wrapped in Adrian's arms, I traced the outline of his face, memorizing every curve. The warmth, the strength, the tenderness—it was all him.

"You're unreal," I murmured.

He chuckled, nuzzling my neck. "So are you. And yet… you're mine."

I kissed the top of his hand, feeling tears of happiness prick my eyes.

"And I'm yours. Completely."

His lips found mine again, slower now, savoring, reaffirming.

"Forever?"

"Forever," I whispered, and this time, the world didn't just pause—it seemed to surrender.

And in that surrender, I realized something profound: we were no longer just Adrian and Kiss. We were a force.

Partners in love, in life, in everything.

And nothing—no enemy, no past, no betrayal—would ever take this from us.
