"How can I help you, Lady Kurenai?" The horticulturist kindly asked.
"I would like to know about how plants release pheromones?"
A.N:
Plants release pheromones through microscopic pores(Stomata) on their leaves.
Humans can't produce pheromones sadly but chakra does wonders.

Kurenai has been spending the last month at Konoha's botanical garden, researching the process of pheromone release in plants to enhance her Genjutsu.
Genjutsu is the manipulation of the senses to manifest illusions onto opponents.
Kurenai became obsessed with this process to the point that she would spend hours with a horticulturist to learn more about different pheromones used to attract insects to pollinate plants and in that research, she singled out two flora that piqued her interest.
Night-Blooming Jasmine (Cestrum nocturnum)
The shrubs release an intensely sweet, almost hypnotic perfume that can travel for hundreds of metres.
Tuberose( Polianthes tuberosa)
The plant carries a heavy carnal-like scent that can seduce the human nose.
Kurenai manipulated her chakra to mimic the smells of the flora by reluctantly consuming small doses of the plants to remember her body with their taste and smell so that she can possess enemies with the intoxicating scents and an easier way to emit the smells is through sweat. Like any human being the sweat glands release odours into the air to regulate body temperatures and in that process, she'll stimulate the pheromones through her sweat glands to trap her opponents in her floral reality.
Hana no rakuen( Floral paradise)
Her mind trap puts her victims in a state of unprecedented calmness before slowly watching themselves become a host for her blooming flowers bursting out of their bodies like maggots in road kill, eating away at the living person to fully grow into beautiful flowers. The unlucky person will feel the process like front row seats to live body horror, breaking them mental before even landing a single physical attack.

"That's honestly terrifying, Kurenai!" Anko chuckles nervously at my explanation of my new Genjutsu technique.
"I'd say, Taiju is rubbing off on you, but this is next level." Hana let's out a breathless sigh. The danger stick in her hands was a mere prop to keep her hands busy.
"Don't listen to her, Kurenai. I love it! If you need any test subjects, there are always prisoners in the interrogation room who need a new perspective. " Anko giggles like a manic.
"I'll think about it." Kurenai winks at her.
"I'm friends with a sadist. " Hana bites at her sweet treat, avoiding eye contact with the crazy kunoichi.
"Don't be like that Inuzuka, you enjoy it when your dogs maul enemies. You do the fang bite down on your lips, it's honestly sexy~"
"Anko!" Hana growls at her, face red with embarrassment.
The violet-haired woman continues her teasing of her fellow Ice Queen.
Kurenai couldn't stop herself from smiling at her friend's banter, and the group wasn't full without Yugao's blank stares at Anko's jokes or talks about relationships.
"OK, enough chatter. Let's really address the elephant in the room." Anko places her hands flat on the table. "Did Taiju and Yugao do it?"
Dead silence ...
"Anko..."
Hana's nose flares at the image of her 'mate' being intimate with another woman.
"Don't put that image in my head, snake lady." Hana flashes her fangs in warning, a faint glow of her eyes under the stars.
"Are you jealous, pup?"
"Anko, please–"
"Kurenai. " Hana stops her friend from interfering. "Don't think because I'm the last to get promoted to Jonin that I won't beat your ass without my companions. " Hana threatens the special Jonin.
"That's big talk, Hana. Let's test that theory?"
"No snakes or dogs. "
"Deal." Anko flashes her signature grin.
As magnets attract to battle, they levitate ofc their stools and walk calmly away from the Dango shop to flash away towards the forest of death.
"Wait." Kurenai gets up from her seat and jogs over to them.
Whoosh
The two kunoichi flicker out of sight before Kurenai could mediate.
"Sigh... I miss Taiju."
