"Reality will split into incompatible versions of itself."
The Intended Version reacted strangely.
Not violently.
But inconsistently.
In one region of perception, it stabilized around Tiān Lán.
In another, it diverged slightly.
In another, it disappeared entirely from the dependency structure.
It was no longer a single consistent entity.
