Chapter 79 - Dai Yui Unleashed

The moment the red-haired biker ordered Nidoking to use Earthquake, Ryu immediately realized something. These people meant trouble.

They had come looking for it.

"Luca. Luca."

Ryu quickly gathered Zenith, Dragapult, and Drakloak together.

His aura pulses carried clear instructions.

"Lucario."

Zenith and Dragapult immediately took to the skies.

Meanwhile, Ryu and Dai Yui rushed toward the entrance.

Dai Yui was puzzled.

"I can fight. Why are we waiting?"

As a three-time Pokémon World Martial Arts Tournament Champion, standing over two meters tall and weighing 125 kilograms, he had no reason to fear seven men with baseball bats.

Ryu shook his head and communicated through aura.

"Luca. Lucario"

(They didn't come here without a reason. Make them talk first.)

Dai Yui nodded.

"Smart. I'll listen to you."

The seven bikers looked intimidating to ordinary people.

Heavy eyeliner.

Leather jackets.

Baseball bats.

Aggressive expressions.

But none of it affected Dai Yui. He could tell immediately that these men had never fought anyone truly dangerous.

Austin's voice rang out.

"Now, you're the ones who won't be leaving."

At that exact moment, shadows descended from the sky.

Zenith and Dragapult landed behind the bikers with tremendous force.

Boom.

Their escape route was completely blocked.

Then the sky itself darkened.

A swarm of Beedrill buzzed overhead.

Butterfree floated beside them.

Fearow circled in the air.

Pidgeot spread their wings.

Entire Staraptor families descended from nearby forests.

Dozens of eyes glowed with anger.

Lance's eyes widened.

"Fearow and Pidgeot are together?"

"And they aren't fighting?"

Cynthia quietly spoke.

"They're all wild Pokémon."

During her stay here, she had seen many of them before. Ordinarily, Fearow and Pidgeot rarely tolerated each other, yet now both species had formed a temporary alliance.

Protect the breeding house first–fight later.

The ground began trembling again.

This time it was not Earthquake.

It was footsteps.

Dust rose from the mountain paths.

Tauros charged forward at the head of the herd.

Rapidash followed.

Bidoof raced alongside them.

Perched proudly atop Tauros's head sat Drakloak.

"Kloakk!"

"Tauross!"

More wild Pokémon poured in from every direction.

The seven bikers suddenly found themselves surrounded.

A black-and-blue figure shot from the trees.

Luxray landed heavily.

Electricity crackled around its body.

It bared its fangs.

Behind it came Luxio.

Then Shinx.

The small Pokémon threw back its head.

"Shinxx!"

The roar sounded surprisingly fierce.

At that moment, Arcanine leaped over the surrounding Pokémon.

The former police Pokémon landed beside Austin.

"Ninee!"

Austin gently stroked his mane.

"You want to fight too?"

"Arcanine!"

Austin smiled.

"Then let's fight together."

Ahead stood Dai Yui and Ryu.

Behind them stood dozens of wild Pokémon.

At that moment, Leon arrived carrying a shovel.

He rushed forward dramatically.

"Haaa-ya!"

Everyone paused.

Even the bikers looked confused.

Austin blinked.

"Dad?"

Leon raised the shovel.

"Son, what's happening?"

"I'll explain later."

The blue-haired biker swallowed.

"B-Boss... what do we do?"

The red-haired leader finally lost his confidence.

"You ask me. Who am I supposed to ask?"

The seven members instinctively huddled together.

Their Pokémon had stopped showing off.

Because they understood something.

The wild Pokémon surrounding them were genuinely furious.

One command.

Just one command from Austin.

That was all it would take.

The skies belonged to Pidgeot, Fearow, and Beedrill.

The ground belonged to Tauros and Rapidash.

Luxray watched from the shadows.

Arcanine stood beside Austin.

Ryu and Dai Yui stood at the front.

Austin glanced at the shattered gate.

Broken bricks.

Cracked pavement.

Scorch marks on the service center walls.

The system notification appeared.

[Side Quest: Protect the Breeding House]

Self-restraint causes others to yield, not because you are weak. Stand firm when others act wildly. Protect your employees and customers.

Reward: Unknown.

Austin looked toward Dai Yui and Ryu.

"It's your turn."

"Teach them a lesson."

Dai Yui grinned.

"Finally."

He stretched his shoulders.

Fire seemed to burn in his eyes.

"You handle the Pokémon."

"I'll handle the people."

Dai Yui.

Incineroar.

Ryu.

All three stepped back simultaneously.

Then they exploded forward.

At that moment, Dai Yui looked less like a human and more like a Fighting-type Pokémon.

Austin's partners charged as well.

Ryu appeared before Nidoking.

Close Combat.

Left fist.

Right fist.

Uppercut.

High Jump Kick.

The entire combination struck so quickly that Nidoking became completely disoriented.

Agni lunged.

Body Slam.

The massive Golem crashed to the ground beneath him.

The Pokémon battles required almost no attention from Austin.

The difference in strength was simply too overwhelming.

Ryu, Agni, Zenith, Dragapult, and the surrounding wild Pokémon completely suppressed the bikers' Pokémon.

Instead, Austin's attention remained fixed on one person.

Dai Yui.

"There's only one of him! Get him!"

The red-haired biker roared and swung his baseball bat downward.

Dai Yui calmly raised his left arm.

Bang!

The bat struck his forearm.

He didn't even move.

The next moment, his right fist shot forward.

Crack!

The red-haired man's nose collapsed instantly. Blood sprayed through the air as his entire body flew backward before crashing into the ground.

Dai Yui didn't even look at him.

The purple-haired biker rushed from the side.

Dai Yui spun.

His heel struck directly into the man's abdomen.

The sound was dull and heavy.

The purple-haired biker's eyes rolled upward as his body flew several meters through the air before crashing down unconscious.

The blue-haired biker screamed and charged.

Dai Yui's reach was simply too great.

His fingers shot forward toward the throat.

The biker instinctively raised his bat.

Clang!

The baseball bat flew from his hands, hitting the ground. Before he could react, Dai Yui stepped inside his guard and drove his elbow directly into his chest.

Another beautiful human arc appeared in the air. The blue-haired biker landed beside his companions.

Nearby, Leon gripped his shovel and stared.

"Dear Arceus."

Austin could only sigh inwardly.

Thankfully, Dai Yui had an exceptionally good temper. Otherwise, very few people could survive fighting him seriously.

His eyes settled on the blond biker who had threatened to break people's legs earlier.

Dai Yui remembered every word.

He walked forward.

The blond man stepped backward.

"You... don't come any closer..."

"Pleaa-see! I...beg. I will do anythingg!"

Dai Yui answered with his fists. A violent seven-hit combination erupted like a storm.

Punch.

Elbow.

Palm strike.

Hook.

Knee.

Backfist.

Uppercut.

The final blow sent the blond biker soaring through the air.

His deformed face twisted in agony before he finally lost consciousness.

And this was still Dai Yui holding back.

The remaining two bikers attempted to attack together.

Slap.

Slap.

Two simple strikes.

The two men immediately saw stars.

Their vision spun violently.

Before they could recover, a pair of enormous hands grabbed their heads.

Bang!

Their foreheads collided.

The two men instantly went limp.

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Dai Yui lowered his arms and exhaled slowly.

Normally, he was a gentle giant.

But once his wrath surfaced, he became terrifying.

The nearby wild Pokémon stood frozen.

For several moments, none of the Pokémon moved.

Then, cries suddenly erupted everywhere.

"Pidgeot!"

"Tauros!"

"Fearow!"

The sounds rose and fell throughout the battlefield.

Inside the house, Lance and Cynthia were watching through the surveillance system.

Lance's mouth hung open.

"S-So strong..."

Cynthia spoke softly.

"He is a three-time Pokémon World Martial Arts Tournament Champion."

Lance blinked.

His mouth twitched.

"Is the standard for Breeders this high now?"

"Do Champions become Breeders nowadays?"

Cynthia's expression softened.

"Because of passion."

. . .

Outside, seeing that every biker had been thoroughly defeated, Austin finally called out.

"Dai Yui."

"That's enough."

"Leave them alive. We still need answers."

Dai Yui rolled his shoulders and grinned.

"Alright."

Austin then turned toward the gathered wild Pokémon and bowed.

"Luxray."

"Pidgeot."

"Fearow."

"Tauros."

"Rapidash."

"Staraptor."

"Thank you, everyone."

"Pidgeot~"

"Tauros~"

Ryu stepped beside Austin.

(No need to thank us.)

Ryu looked around at the Breeding House.

(This is our home too.)

Austin smiled.

Before he could answer, distant sirens echoed down the road.

Wee-woo! Wee-woo! Wee-woo!

Officer Jenny had finally arrived.
