Night.
2119 North Wallace Street, The Gallagher House.
Gloom and despair once again permeated this house.
Jimmy lit a cigarette, inexplicably feeling like he was a little too familiar with this atmosphere.
Damn Gallaghers, Jimmy couldn't help but sigh silently. Then, he raised his wrist to check the time.
There was still about half an hour until Fiona's shift started. If they left right now, they could still make it.
But if they delayed any longer, it might not work.
Thinking this, Jimmy looked at Fiona, who was curled up in the corner of the sofa, smoking one cigarette after another, her face indescribably gloomy.
After hesitating for a moment, Jimmy finally chose to speak up. "Fiona, you're going to be late for work."
Hearing this, Fiona blinked and subconsciously glanced at the clock on the wall. She actually wanted to get up and go to work, but she genuinely had no strength.
"Let me rest for two more minutes..." Fiona said weakly.
Jimmy nodded and didn't say more.
Fiona took another fierce drag of her cigarette, then her expression crumbled. Her face filled with tears, and she looked even more pained.
It is worth mentioning that the pain Fiona was experiencing right now wasn't primarily because Lip and Monica were arrested, but because of herself...
Fiona couldn't figure out how Tony could treat her like this!
What exactly did she do? Why did she have to be treated this way?
She worked so hard to hold up this family, why didn't she receive any respect!
She was already suffering so much, why did a bastard like Tony have to come and hurt her!
Human thinking is truly interesting, isn't it?
It really is difficult for normal people to understand bizarre thinking...
Two minutes flashed by.
Just as the cigarette between her fingers was finished, Fiona gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and stood up abruptly. She said to Carl and Ian, who were sitting in the living room equally shrouded in gloom, "I'm going to work."
After speaking, Fiona picked up her bag to leave.
Seeing this, Carl was a bit anxious and asked, "What about Lip and Monica?"
Fiona wanted to escape. She really wasn't willing to think about this problem. She shook her head. "I don't know. Whatever."
"..." Carl was speechless.
Fiona didn't want to talk anymore and walked straight toward the front door.
Jimmy hurried to follow.
Before long.
Jimmy drove Fiona, speeding toward the bar.
On the way.
Fiona lit another cigarette, took a fierce drag, and asked Jimmy with near desperation, "What do you think I should do?"
Hearing this, Jimmy froze slightly, then smiled faintly, answering with a question, "Do you want to hear the truth?"
Fiona looked at Jimmy with a complex gaze and nodded. "Mm."
"Leave it alone," Jimmy replied calmly. "My saying this has nothing to do with the conflict between me and Lip, don't overthink it."
Fiona fell silent for a moment. "Then the reason you say this is?"
"Lip is used to committing crimes. He has a long criminal record. The reason nothing major has happened so far and he hasn't received much punishment is mainly because he hasn't reached eighteen yet."
"But, he will soon."
"By then, if he commits crimes again, he will go straight to prison."
"Better to teach him a lesson this time. It's better than going to prison later."
Jimmy said all this in one breath.
Could Fiona listen?
Heh. As a control freak who thought highly of herself, if Fiona could listen, if she were willing to accept others' suggestions humbly and make corresponding changes, Fiona wouldn't be living like this.
Sure enough, a very clear look of displeasure appeared on Fiona's face immediately. However, because she really felt very tired and truly had no extra energy, she didn't open her mouth to refute. She just took another drag of her cigarette. "Help me find a lawyer on Monday. I'll pay you back whatever it costs."
"Okay," hearing this, Jimmy wasn't surprised in the slightest and agreed with a smile.
Neither spoke again, and the car fell silent.
---
Mickey's House.
Mickey was in his bedroom, trying to fxxk a chubby girl.
Mickey had been trying for quite a while, but unfortunately, a certain part just wasn't performing its proper function.
This made him feel extremely annoyed, and at the same time, quite panicked.
One must know, before Ian appeared and turned his world upside down, he had no problem doing this kind of thing.
But now, dammit, it didn't work! Useless!!
Damn Ian, fxxk!!! Mickey couldn't help but curse viciously in his heart. Then, annoyed, he plopped down onto the bed and gave up.
The chubby girl was a bit confused. "What's wrong with you?"
Driven by pride, how could Mickey admit he couldn't perform? He opened his mouth and bullshitted, "Got a lot on my mind. Forget it for today. You leave."
"..." The chubby girl was instantly disappointed.
What the hell is this?
Stopping right at the door?
The chubby girl wanted it. "How about I show you what I can do? Maybe it'll get better."
Hearing this, Mickey instantly became even more annoyed and couldn't help but bark, "No need. Fxxk off!"
Mickey was a Milkovich. The chubby girl didn't dare provoke him. Being yelled at, she had to hurriedly put on her clothes, walk quickly out of the room, and rush toward the front door.
Just then, Mandy, who in a sense had been fired, pushed the door open and entered the house in a daze.
The chubby girl and Mandy bumped into each other.
The two looked at each other. Neither said anything, and they went their separate ways.
Mandy walked into the living room and slumped onto the sofa, very annoyed.
Mickey had just lit a cigarette. Hearing the noise, he called out, "Mandy?"
"Mm," Mandy replied weakly.
Confirming it was Mandy, Mickey subconsciously checked the time.
It was quite a bit earlier than the time Mandy should normally be home...
Mickey instantly felt something was wrong. Subsequently, he took a drag of his cigarette, stood up, put on his clothes, walked out of the room to the sofa, and asked, "Did you get fired?"
Mandy turned her head to look at Mickey. Because Mickey's tone was normal, she didn't snap back and replied, "Sort of. Dexter told me to come back and think properly."
"What happened? He couldn't have just said that to you out of the blue," Mickey asked again.
Mandy thought for a moment and gave a simple explanation. "Not long ago, I heard from Ian that Lip was arrested. I was very upset and accidentally broke some dishes..."
Mickey was a bit surprised to hear this.
That idiot Lip got arrested again? How many times is this in less than a year?
Then...
Inexplicably, Mickey was startled. A thought popped into his head.
Mickey suddenly realized that this Gallagher family was truly goddamn terrifying. Anyone who got involved with the Gallagher family ended up badly...
That Jimmy, implicated by that little bitch Debbie, got a criminal record...
Mandy, implicated by Lip, basically lost a good job...
And he, because of Ian, had lost a certain function...
Fiona, that town bicycle... heh, the people she implicated weren't few either...
Not to mention those two crazy scumbags, Frank and Monica. How many people had they harmed over the past years...
Thinking and thinking.
Mickey couldn't help but suck in a breath of cold air.
The terrifying Gallaghers!!
