Chapter 216 - Chapter 217: Fiona's Joy, and Kevin Becomes a Dad

The Club, Dance Floor.

Jasmine gyrated around David, preening and posing like a third-rate stripper.

Fiona watched with amusement, not thinking too much of it, just finding the May-December pairing quite strange.

About half an hour later.

Having figured out the relationship between Jasmine and David...

Fiona no longer found it strange; instead, she looked down on Jasmine.

Married with kids, yet out cheating—and cheating with an old man who was also married with kids.

Fiona thought Jasmine was trash.

However, because David was indeed rich, for the sake of the tip, Fiona said nothing and maintained her enthusiastic service, not rejecting Jasmine's overly familiar attitude.

Time flew by.

Around 10:00 PM.

"We're leaving. Let's hang out tomorrow," Jasmine said goodbye to Fiona, seemingly high on life.

David settled the bill decisively, tucking the cash into the check presenter and handing it to Fiona.

Fiona opened it and saw immediately that the tip was extremely generous. She was instantly delighted and nodded to Jasmine. "Sure, let's hang out sometime."

Hearing this, Jasmine smiled, leaned in, and kissed Fiona on the mouth. "See you tomorrow. Bye."

Watching this scene, David smirked, his interest piqued, and wrapped his arm around Jasmine's waist.

The two walked out of the club.

"That friend of yours, Fiona, looks pretty good. Is she open-minded?" David asked with a smile.

Jasmine understood immediately. "Haha, David, you're dreaming big. Am I not enough for you?"

"Of course you're enough. But can't an old guy like me dream a little?" David said frankly.

Jasmine laughed. "I don't know her well yet. I'll ask for you when I get the chance."

Fiona's promiscuity was, in a sense, famous in the South Side.

This was normal. After all, she had slept with over a hundred men since high school...

Those men weren't mute; they bragged.

One man bragged, two men bragged, and eventually, Fiona became famous.

So, Jasmine knew Fiona's reputation, but she wasn't sure if Fiona was into threesomes.

"Okay," David agreed with a smile. "I'm looking forward to it."

Jasmine giggled, seeing no issue with it.

---

Inside the Club.

Fiona continued working.

Around 11:00 PM.

Adam, who had had a bit too much to drink, approached Fiona.

Adam was handsome, had a good job at JPMorgan Chase, was well-mannered, and spoke politely. After chatting for a while, Fiona was quite satisfied.

Satisfied, and missing some physical activity after a few days without it, Fiona half-agreed to Adam's invitation with teasing words.

"I don't get off until 3:30. If you're still here then, we'll see," Fiona replied with a beaming smile.

Hearing this, Adam declared decisively, "3:30 is fine. I can wait."

Fiona smiled. "Then wait. Now move, don't block me from earning tips."

In a flash, it was 4:00 AM.

After counting the substantial tips she earned that night, a very happy Fiona got into Adam's car.

"Where to?" Adam, impatient to fxxk Fiona, asked.

"Let's go to the lake."

"Okay."

Nearly 5:00 AM.

On a sandy stretch by Lake Michigan.

Foreplay completed.

Fiona took a condom from her bag.

Shortly after, she straddled Adam.

Under the sky just beginning to turn white, the two engaged in battle.

Fiona loved this feeling and played to her heart's content.

Unfortunately, Adam wasn't up to the task; he was pretty useless.

In the end, Fiona lay on the sand, disappointed and panting. "I haven't finished. Rest a bit, then go again."

As a man, Adam couldn't say no. "Okay."

Amidst the battle, dawn quietly arrived.

Done, the two cleaned up, walked barefoot by the lake for a few minutes, and returned to the car.

Adam gentlemanly drove Fiona to the Gallagher house.

By this time, it was past 7:00 AM.

Peggy, who had been up since 5:00 AM waiting for Frank to pick her up, had waited for over an hour. Still seeing no sign of Frank, she was furious. Finally unable to wait any longer, she had Carl push her out, planning to go to Sheila's house to find Frank.

Just as they stepped out.

Carl and Peggy both saw Fiona and Adam.

One glance, and Peggy understood the situation. Instantly, her disdain for Fiona couldn't be hidden, showing plainly on her face.

Carl didn't notice anything. He just glanced at Fiona, then, because of yesterday's events, couldn't be bothered to look again. He withdrew his gaze and focused on pushing Peggy in the wheelchair.

"Where are you two going so early?" Fiona, having just given Adam a passionate kiss, looked up to see Carl and Peggy. She frowned slightly and asked.

Peggy ignored Fiona, slowly standing up to descend the stairs.

Carl didn't answer either, just putting effort into maneuvering the wheelchair down.

"Carl, I'm asking you a question!" Facing this reaction, Fiona got a little angry. She walked quickly to the gate and asked again.

Carl grew impatient. "I'm taking Grandma to find Frank."

Getting a response, Fiona smiled a little, her tone returning to normal. "Come back early for breakfast."

Carl didn't reply.

Watching Carl like this, Fiona couldn't help but get a headache. She subconsciously looked toward the house of the culprit, Dexter.

Dexter's House.

Bianca was making breakfast in the kitchen.

Dexter was brewing coffee.

Daijiu had gone for a stroll in the backyard and just returned, obediently squatting outside the kitchen out of the way, waiting to enjoy a delicious breakfast.

The scene was peaceful.

---

7:50 AM.

Carl pushed Peggy to Sheila's door.

Peggy didn't want to see that crazy woman Sheila. "Carl, go call Frank out."

Hearing this, Carl directly extended his hand. "Twenty bucks."

Peggy was amused. "You kid, I just treated you to dinner yesterday."

Carl thought for a moment. "Dexter treated us last night. I need to save money to get my own turf."

Peggy shook her head with a smile and took out the money. "Makes sense."

Carl took the money and did the job, running to Sheila's door and knocking.

Not long after.

Frank walked out, his head hanging low.

Seeing Frank, Peggy unleashed a torrent of scolding, berating him like he was worthless trash.

Carl watched for a short while, not wanting to see Frank looking so useless anymore. "Grandma, I have to go back. I have to work."

"Go," Peggy replied crisply.

Carl said no more, turned the empty wheelchair around, and walked back on his own.

---

Past 10:00 AM.

The Alibi Room.

Kevin received a phone call.

"Mr. Ball, we have a child here who needs a foster home. Is it convenient for you and your wife to take her in?" the social worker in charge of Kevin and Veronica's application asked.

Hearing these words.

Kevin was instantly stunned, unable to believe he would have a child so soon. Then, he grinned foolishly, excited beyond belief. "Convenient! Convenient! Do we pick her up, or do you bring the child over?"

Social Worker: "????"

Do you think this child is an Amazon package?

The social worker silently criticized him, then said, "Mr. Ball, if it's convenient for you, we can bring the child over today. How about 1:00 PM?"

"Yes, yes," Kevin hurriedly nodded in response.

"Alright, see you at 1:00 PM then."

"Okay."

The call ended.

Kevin put down the phone, genuinely excited. His fierce-looking face was full of a silly grin. "I'm gonna be a father!!!"

"Congratulations!"

"Then the drinks are on you."

"..."

A few drunks who had arrived almost as soon as the doors opened chimed in cheerfully.

"One drink each!" Kevin announced solemnly upon hearing this. Then, he called Veronica to share the good news.
