Orion walked toward the house. Noticed immediately that his steps felt different. Lighter. More controlled. Like gravity had less hold on him.
He wasn't floating. But he could feel the difference. Thirty to forty percent stronger than this morning. Maybe more.
His muscles were denser. Harder. He flexed his hand into a fist. Felt the power coiled in his forearm. Could probably punch through a brick wall now without injury.
His senses were dramatically enhanced. He could see individual leaves on trees at the far end of the garden—a hundred meters away. Could hear conversations from neighboring houses several properties over. Could smell dinner cooking somewhere in the distance.
His skin looked different. Healthier. A subtle glow that wasn't just reflected sunlight. The exotic energy circulating beneath the surface creating a faint radiance.
