MANSION GARDEN - 2:15 PM
Orion sat in lotus position on the grass. Eyes closed. Shirt discarded beside him. The afternoon sun blazed overhead, warming his skin.
He could feel it. The heat. The light. Energy pouring down from the sun in constant torrents. Solar radiation. Electromagnetic waves. Thermal energy. All of it washing over him uselessly because his body had no way to capture it.

Orion turned his attention inward. Into the energetic space within his own body. The ring halo pulsed around his heart—fifteen percent complete, glowing faintly golden in his internal perception. The energy channels he'd built over two months of cultivation ran throughout his body like rivers.
Everything was ready. The Infinite Circulation Method was designed. Simulated. Verified.
Now came the hard part. Actually implementing it.
"Begin with the channels," Orion murmured to himself.
