"Landorus is coming."
Damian looks to the horizon, clearly seeing a Pokémon whose lower half is clouds soaring toward them.
"That's Landorus, right?"
Elesa watches Landorus approach with curiosity.
Its overall form resembles the current Thundurus, but with big differences: the lower half is clouds, the upper body is humanoid, and Landorus' upper body is entirely orange, with well-developed muscles; there's a white rounded wooden-like structure behind its head, and the cloud-like lower body extends into a thick, curled tail.
Damian has said that among the four Incarnate Forces, Landorus is the strongest, far stronger than Tornadus and Thundurus.
But in front of Damian, unless it's on the level of Shiny Rayquaza and Kyurem, the other legends aren't that different.
At this moment Landorus has already arrived before Tornadus and Thundurus, arms folded, surveying the two incarnations with imposing gravity.
"Landorus~!"
Landorus' call is deep.
Seeing Landorus, perhaps due to past memory, Therian Forme Tornadus and Thundurus instinctively back up a bit.
But soon they remember and bow their heads toward Damian.
"?"
Landorus notices Tornadus and Thundurus' gaze, puzzled, lowers its head to look.
"Hello Landorus, nice to meet you."
Damian gives Landorus a bright smile and waves.
"??" Landorus is even more puzzled; how come there are humans here?
"Don't blame Tornadus and Thundurus; I asked them to guide you over, they didn't intend to start trouble."
Damian explains very nicely.
Landorus is a bit shocked, looking at Tornadus and Thundurus; what does this human mean by that?
Could Tornadus and Thundurus have been caught by this human?
"It's like this, I'm quite interested in you; could you please kindly enter this Ultra Ball?"
Damian pulls out an empty Ultra Ball and waves it at Landorus.
"Landorus?"
Landorus laughs, not sure what origin this human has, but he's being asked to be caught out of the blue?
Clearly ridiculous. Do these humans think themselves so mighty as to bully legendary Pokémon?
With a low growl from Landorus, an ancient mirror rises behind it and shines on Landorus.
Under the mirror's glow, Landorus' silhouette rapidly changes, turning into a strong tiger-shaped Pokémon on the spot.
Therian Forme Landorus!
Compared to Incarnate Formes, Therian Forme Landorus has a more imposing aura; it's formidable and untouchable.
"A Reveal Glass, huh." Damian watches the ancient circular mirror floating behind Landorus' Therian Forme.
That is the Reveal Glass, the key item for Incarnate Forces; with Reveal Glass, they can switch forms at will.
Surprisingly, Reveal Glass is in Landorus' hand; how did Tornadus change form then?
But that's not important now.
"Sure enough, as expected, Landorus; this pressure is indeed strong."
Damian admires the imposing Therian Forme Landorus; its pressure is far greater than that of Therian Forme Tornadus and Thundurus.
So far, this is the strongest Wild Legendary Pokémon Damian has ever met.
Even the Beast Legends couldn't compare to this Therian Forme Landorus.
In fact, if it were early this year, Damian would have been quite smitten with this Therian Forme Landorus.
Landorus' appearance doesn't exactly fit Damian's style; Kami Quartet images are a bit abstract, whether Incarnate Formes or Therian Forme.
But Damian's dating criteria are simple: you don't have to be pretty, you just have to be strong.
And Landorus undeniably fits Damian's standard of strength.
The strength of Therian Forme Landorus—those who understand know.
In games strong is one thing, in real life Therian Forme Landorus' strength would be among the top-tier legends, below only the highest.
Its Ability Intimidate is immensely practical in battle; its Ground/Flying typing is near-perfect.
Though four times weak to Ice, so what? Of the eighteen types, Landorus is weak only to Ice and Water.
Worth noting, Landorus can also fly!
In the real world, whether Pokémon can fly matters a lot.
In games who cares? Move accuracy depends on data.
In reality, flying gives a natural edge; Groudon is a prime example.
Remote moves can hit flying targets, but landing them without setup is hard; they're not stationary targets.
So Damian is torn about whether to keep Landorus for himself or not.
His main roster is already crowded with high-end battles; not much room to give Landorus a stage.
"Landorus~!"
Therian Forme Landorus growls at Tornadus and Thundurus, not caring about the humans below.
Hurry up and deal with Tornadus and Thundurus, then it can go find Enamorus.
Tornadus and Thundurus respond with a smug air.
"???" Therian Forme Landorus tilts its head, puzzled by their odd behavior today.
"Forget it, catch him first." Damian decides not to dwell.
First take Landorus, then decide.
Suddenly Therian Forme Landorus finds itself unable to move; literally unable to move.
A powerful psychic binds its entire body.
Shadow Mewtwo appears in front of Damian, psychic control directly taking hold of Therian Forme Landorus.
No matter how Therian Forme Landorus struggles, it's useless; it can only watch its body being manipulated, rapidly plummeting.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Therian Forme Landorus is slammed repeatedly by the psychic-controlled tackle; soon it fades into unconsciousness.
The process lasts less than three minutes.
Though Therian Forme Landorus is strong, Shadow Mewtwo is stronger.
"Psychic-type Pokémon are so unfair when strength is this overwhelming; they're basically puppets on strings."
Damian looks at Landorus' Ultra Ball in his hand, sighing with wonder.
That's why he loves using Shadow Mewtwo; it's so convenient!
When strength dominates, psychic types are natural predators; no matter how flashy, you're a puppet in their grasp.
Of course, that's only when power is overwhelming; if power is similar, psychic cannot fully control.
"Reveal Glass is in hand too; only Enamorus remains."
Damian ponders.
"Damian, look over there."
Caitlin suddenly speaks, pointing.
Damian follows, seeing another cloud formation quickly approaching the horizon.
"Tsk, such a pair indeed."
Damian's eyes brighten; he'd just been thinking about this, and now it's here?
Lower half cloud, upper body pink-hued slim humanoid, a tail like a snake coiled around her.
Enamorus lands above, looking around; sensing Landorus' aura, she came, but where is Landorus?
Soon Enamorus locks onto the Ultra Ball in humans' hands.
"Yo—looking for Landorus? Too bad, it's just been caught by me."
Damian wags the Ultra Ball at Enamorus.
"!!!" Enamorus widens its eyes in astonishment.
Then…
"Great, with this kami quartet all caught."
Damian nods with satisfaction, looking at the four mini Ultra Balls, the legendary "kami quartet" collected.
"Caitlin, want to pick one?" Damian asks, offering.
If Caitlin wants, he's happy to hand one over.
"No need, I want to specialize in Psychic-type," Caitlin replies with a soft smile.
"And I'm focusing on Little White's training lately, so I don't have time to raise other Pokémon."
Damian has given her the best; otherwise, Little Lugia would still be with him.
Elesa still envied a bit; she's an Electric-type trainer and would love Thundurus.
But even if Damian offered Thundurus to her, her strength isn't enough to catch Thundurus.
So, in the end, it's a matter of personal strength.
"Fine, let's play a bit more and then head back."
Damian stores the kami quartet.
He intends to ask Selene later whether Enamorus is of interest; Enamorus does have Flying as a secondary type, but Fairy is its primary.
"I hope those subordinates can be more helpful, locate the Swords of Justice before we leave."
Damian remains somewhat unsatisfied.
"… Elesa almost says something, but holds back.
She's really wondering if Damian plans to clean out the Unova region of its Legendary Pokémon.
Legendary Dragon Pokémon, Reshiram with Damian, Zekrom with N, Kyurem with Damian—he'll probably catch them all in time.
And the kami quartet are all taken, Victini caught too.
Only the Swords of Justice remain; if Team Rocket takes them, what will be left for Unova?
Alder would probably cry on the bathroom floor once he knew. Team Rocket really is Robbers!
Come to Unova, and nearly fleece it dry!
