It was only a matter of time before Eve and Michael made their way to them.
"Day, my darling," Eve kisses each of his cheeks, and he leans back after, blushing as Travis and Michael greet each other. "How are you? You look absolutely dashing tonight."
"Thank you, and you look very beautiful, Mrs King."
"Oh, nonsense, I told you to call me Eve," she looks at her mate exasperatedly. "Kids and their manners these days."
"Now, now, don't chastise the young lad for having good etiquette," Michael smiles, and he looks like an older version of Travis.
He has not met the guy before, and Day hopes he isn't staring too much. "How are you, Day?"
"I am good, thank you."
Travis stands on his side, the arm finding its home on his waist yet again.
"It's good to finally meet you," he says, and Day bows his head in respect before looking at the older alpha, who is looking at him intently.
Not in a malicious way, just very seriously, as if trying to see all of him all at once.
