Chapter 404 - Chapter 404: The Converging World Lines

Outside in the theme restaurant, Fusae Campbell sat in Yuu Hoshimiya's seat, chatting with Ran Mouri and Curacao.

She appeared incredibly gentle, but across the table, Ai Haibara—hidden among the children—felt an icy chill. She instinctively lowered her head.

At such close proximity and without Yuu by her side, her "Organization Member Radar" was screaming at full blast.

Fusae sat at the table for over ten minutes. At Ran's request, she signed her name on Ran's handbag before bidding them farewell and leaving.

Ran didn't suspect Fusae of being a villain at all, her smile remaining bright and cheerful.

"I didn't expect Ms. Fusae to be so down-to-earth, exactly like she was ten years ago."

"When I tell Sonoko I have a signed Fusae bag, she's going to be so jealous!"

Yukiko Kudo scooped some vermicelli and scallops into Ayumi's bowl. She looked around the table, noticed Yuu and "Azusa" (Vermouth) still hadn't returned, and guessed exactly what was happening.

Suppressing the urge to roll her eyes, she kept the kids occupied while providing cover for him.

Meanwhile, Curacao was no longer in the mood to eat.

Beneath the table, her fingers were continuously stroking the business card Fusae had left behind.

There were numerous raised dots on the back—braille.

This was a notification method Rum was particularly fond of, and Curacao was intimately familiar with it.

As her fingertips parsed the braille, flashes of imagery sparked in her mind. Her sky-blue eyes began to tremble as if vast streams of data were flowing through her pupils.

Outside the theme restaurant, Fusae donned the Organization's classic black trench coat.

The undercover Canadian agent, Aquavit, followed at her side.

Aquavit couldn't help but ask, "Marsala, what's Curacao's status?"

Fusae, peering through binoculars at the restaurant window, remained silent, appearing to wait for something.

A moment later, Curacao's silhouette appeared in her sight. Fusae's lips curled into a smirk, and she tossed the binoculars to Aquavit.

"Nothing. She's functioning normally. Let's go; we need to retreat before Public Security surrounds this place."

"It's the perfect time to test the power of that 'big toy' we procured from the States."

Fusae turned and vanished into the shadows. Aquavit took a quick look through the binoculars but no longer saw Curacao at the window.

A flash of cold, murderous intent crossed his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it and followed Fusae out of the Touto Aquarium.

The moment they left, the sirens of Public Security police cars wailed as they quickly cordoned off both the front and back exits.

Rows of police cars pulled into the Touto Aquarium parking lot with massive momentum, drawing the shocked gazes of the tourists.

Watching Vermouth stubbornly maintain her disguise—occasionally blurting out English curses before quickly switching back to Japanese—Yuu Hoshimiya couldn't help but want to laugh.

The scene was simply too entertaining!

He slapped her perky buttocks and then leaned in to kiss her sexy mouth.

At this moment, Vermouth was ready to commit murder.

Yuu Hoshimiya, you bastard! You pervert! You lecher! You're so gentle with other women, taking them to ride Belugas, watch dolphins, and see the scenery. But me? You drag me into a bathroom stall! The environment here is disgusting! How dare you treat me like this! What does that Curacao have that I don't? I'm going to kill you! These thoughts raced madly through Vermouth's mind, cold glints flashing in her eyes.

Yet, when Yuu kissed her, she didn't resist at all. Instead, she cooperated obediently.

Yuu observed her keenly, seeing through her inner thoughts via her minute facial shifts, but he didn't care in the slightest.

When dealing with a "bad woman," one had to be forceful.

His hot, large hands slid gently beneath the hem of her shirt, quickly reaching Vermouth's taut abdomen.

It was flat and smooth—silky and delicate, yet possessing the resilience and definition of long-term exercise.

While Yuu's hands roamed, he continuously channeled healing magic to help soothe the pain in Vermouth's body.

Amidst the rhythmic, sharp pain in her rear, Vermouth felt a wave of coolness pouring into her.

The sensation of ice and fire intermingling made her body shudder uncontrollably.

Her breathing grew heavy, her back arched, and her eyes began to roll back.

The pain was washed away by the minty coolness, leaving a wave of numbness from her lower back to her spine.

It felt as though every nerve was being massaged and then completely relaxed. It was incredibly satisfying—a pleasure that reached the very soul!

Vermouth's eyes rolled back as she let out incoherent sounds, her mind becoming a total haze.

She felt as if she had been transported to a forest, surrounded by infinite life, lying in a sea of flowers, inhaling their fragrance as she bloomed along with the buds.

After soothing the pain in her "chrysanthemum" and healing the trauma, the cool magic didn't fade.

As Yuu's hands roamed, the healing magic spread across Vermouth's entire body.

The miraculous power began to repair every old scar on Vermouth's skin.

This included wounds from the secret laboratories of her past, injuries sustained during missions, and even the gunshot wound from Akai in New York.

Under the magical healing, Vermouth's perfectly healed scars underwent a new round of self-recovery, re-scabbing in an instant.

Old blood was forced out through her pores and clotted together.

The new scabs thickened, hardened, turned black, and fell off by themselves within seconds—a process that should have taken two weeks condensed into moments.

Once the scabs fell away, the skin beneath was revealed to be tender, flawless, and snow-white, indistinguishable from the rest of her body.

Yuu shook the hem of her shirt, hearing the sound of the scabs hitting the floor.

Then, his large hands returned to Vermouth's slender waist; the feel was now even better.

The skin was incredibly smooth and tender, with no sign of ever being injured.

Following the principle of the "carrot and the stick," Yuu didn't want to truly offend the "Viper" beyond repair.

The lesson was given, and the liberties taken; it was time to give her a little "sweetness."

And with magic this blatantly "un-Conan-like," he wasn't afraid of her noticing the abnormality later.

In fact, he was waiting for the ageless beauty to discover this impossible reality.

Surely, Vermouth would come crawling back for more on her own then.

Soon, Yuu released Vermouth's lips.

Vermouth gasped for air, her reddened eyes looking at Yuu with a gaze that was actually full of affection.

Then, having recovered her strength, she proactively lunged forward to kiss Yuu back.

This reaction caught him by surprise.

A flash of delight crossed Yuu's eyes, and he launched a more uninhibited offensive.

Since there was still residual magic in Vermouth's body, he knew any further injury would be healed immediately, so he held nothing back.

Thus, an exceptionally savage battle commenced, with every sound muffled between their locked lips!

Yuu's hands slid from her waist to grip her buttocks, beginning a series of frenzied thrusts.

The burning, rock-hard "Little Yuu" was tireless, pounding again and again into the deepest reaches of Vermouth's perky rear.

The scalding dragon filled her tight pucker to the brim, leaving absolutely no room for air.

He hammered her until she was red and swollen, looking as if she couldn't possibly expand any further.

But under the treatment of the residual magic, the swelling subsided just as quickly as it appeared.

Vermouth's eyes rolled back as she responded to Yuu's hot kiss, moaning "mmm-ph... mmm-ph..." continuously.

Though her rear still stung, the warmth of the mysterious power made it feel incredibly good.

This paradoxical sensation intensified with every one of Yuu's thrusts.

Caught between pain and pleasure, Vermouth's body writhed instinctively.

Yuu could feel her body sucking on him tightly, massaging every inch of "Little Yuu" until his entire being felt comfortably numb.

Every pump of the fiery dragon ground against her tender internal flesh as he plunged in and out of her narrow pucker.

This drove Vermouth to greedily suck on Yuu's tongue, her own small tongue teasing the roof of his mouth to express her mounting ecstasy.

Yuu was highly satisfied with Vermouth's performance.

In an excellent mood, Yuu accelerated his pace once more, the intense speed causing Vermouth to moan without end.

As Yuu delivered wave after wave of frenzied output, Vermouth's eyes grew increasingly glazed, and the look she turned on Yuu was pure love.

Sensing the shift in her emotions, Yuu was pleasantly surprised, and his own excitement reached a new peak.

Every single thrust hammered into her deepest core, making Vermouth's eyes roll back as she froze mid-kiss, her rounded buttocks contracting violently.

That petite, pink anus clamped tightly around the scalding dragon, as if trying to suck "Little Yuu" into the very depths of her soul.

Hiss! I can't hold it! Yuu fought to contain the pleasure for a few more seconds, delivering thirty final, violent thrusts before burying his entire length inside Vermouth.

The gates opened, and the dragon shuddered, firing wave after wave of scalding hot essence deep into Vermouth's body.

Vermouth felt an ultimate surge of euphoria. She sucked frantically on Yuu's lips, her body spasming as she reached a peak climax alongside the flood of hot fluid.

For a time, the stall was filled only with their ragged breathing and the scent of their union.

It was more than half an hour later when the silent battle concluded. It was now 6:30 PM, and the sun had completely set.

Yuu walked out of the restroom stall with his arm around Vermouth's slender waist.

Right now, Vermouth was acting like a delicate little woman, leaning against Yuu with her head buried in his chest. She was too shy to even lift her face.

Even though the face she was wearing wasn't her own—it was Azusa's—Vermouth still felt a profound sense of shame.

A man at the washbasins was left slack-jawed as the pair emerged from the stall.

Then, the middle-aged man gave Yuu a silent thumbs-up.

Yuu offered a wordless smile and quickly led Vermouth away.

They separated into a front-and-back formation once they reached the corridor, returning to the dinner table shortly after.

The scene naturally didn't escape the notice of the observant women at the table.

However, since Yuu had given them a heads-up, Ai, Ran, and Yukiko—though they badly wanted to complain—held their tongues.

The rest were just children and wouldn't connect their absence to anything sexual.

The only "fake" child, Conan, was long since immune to Yuu's womanizing ways and didn't care if Yuu and Azusa had gone off to do something erotic.

"Brother Yuu! We just met Ms. Fusae! She even signed my bag!" Ran leaned closer to Yuu, sharing her joy.

At the mention of "Fusae," Vermouth's mind snapped to attention. Her expression beneath the mask changed instantly.

Fusae... isn't that Marsala? One of ours! Did the Organization find us here? Yuu scanned the table but saw no sign of Curacao.

He frowned and asked, "Where did Shiro-chan go?"

Yukiko replied, "She went to use the restroom a while ago. She's been gone for quite some time."

Ayumi shook her head. "No, I went to the restroom with Big Sister Shiro just now, but she didn't go inside."

"I asked her where she was going, and she said she wanted to sneak off to ride the Ferris wheel one more time. She told me not to tell anyone, but I haven't seen her since!"

The faces of the group shifted at this news.

Yuu spoke up quickly: "I'll go find her. Everyone else, stay here and finish your dinner. I'll be back as soon as I find her."

Yukiko and the others wanted to help search, but Yuu cut them off before they could speak.

"Ran, watch the kids. Don't let them wander off. I don't want to be looking for them too in a few minutes."

With that, he turned and ran out of the restaurant, with Vermouth following closely behind.

The Junior Detective League wanted to follow and help.

Ran intervened immediately, saying, "Nobody leaves their seats! Be good and listen to me!"

She smiled gently, but her small hand accidentally bent a dinner knife out of shape. The kids became instantly obedient.

After all, Yuu had already briefed Ran on the general situation.

The ever-coordinated Ran knew exactly what to do.

Protect the kids and leave the rest to Brother Yuu.

Yuu sprinted toward the Ferris wheel.

He hadn't expected Curacao to leave on her own. Did her memories return? Yuu had arranged everything so that Curacao would be safe as long as she stayed with Ran and the others—no one could touch them.

But Curacao had left that safe zone herself.

Vermouth followed him at a jog, but with every step, she felt a sharp, pulsing ache in her rear from the recent "injury."

She gritted her teeth, enduring the discomfort to keep up with Yuu.

Soon, Yuu arrived at the base of the Ferris wheel.

Looking up, he saw the dual-wheel giant in motion.

Despite the notices posted that afternoon stating the wheel was closed for maintenance, it was currently running.

Combined with Curacao's disappearance, it was clearly the work of the Organization.

Yuu scanned the area. Nearby, plainclothes Public Security officers were beginning their search, and the distant parking lot was flooded with police cars.

At that moment, Vermouth caught up and hugged Yuu from behind, her "twin globes" pressing firmly against his back.

"Yuu-kun, don't go, okay? I'm worried about you! I don't want you to leave me!"

She was now even more desperate to keep Yuu from getting involved in this operation.

According to Vermouth's analysis, Marsala had appeared and spoken with Curacao.

Curacao leaving alone afterward meant she was returning to the Organization.

If Yuu went after her, not only would her own sacrifices today be for nothing, but it might also put Ran and the others in danger.

She didn't know what was happening to her. Perhaps the experiences on the Ferris wheel and in the restroom stall today had changed something within her.

Vermouth simply didn't want Yuu to be in any danger.

Moreover, if Yuu stayed out of it, it would be the best outcome for her—their paths wouldn't cross, and her mission could still be completed.

Yuu turned and held Vermouth. He saw the genuine worry and anxiety in her eyes, and a slight smile played on his lips.

His large hand gently stroked her soft back, and he spoke tenderly: "Since you've agreed to be my good little slave, you have to listen to your Master from now on."

"Shiro-chan is clearly in danger. Look at those Public Security officers—they're hunting her. How can I just ignore it?"

Yuu purposefully revealed the Public Security presence to Vermouth.

"It's time for a man to step up. Go back to the restaurant and stay with Ran and the others. I'll handle the rest."

"But..."

Vermouth almost wanted to spill everything about Curacao.

However, her buttocks received a heavy slap from Yuu, causing her body to shudder and her train of thought to break instantly.

"Listen to me!"

Yuu's expression turned solemn, his lips pressing thin.

His deep eyes radiated a mysterious power, and his handsome face grew stern. His black hair whipped in the wind as his entire aura shifted into something dominantly authoritative.

This look and presence made Vermouth's heart skip a beat.

She couldn't find a single word of defiance.

Yuu gently ruffled her hair and sprinted toward the Ferris wheel.

Left behind, Vermouth stomped her foot in frustration, clutching her head, unsure of what to do.

She didn't know Marsala's specific plan, nor did she understand why Public Security was here in force.

But she couldn't ask Fusae about the plan now; it would be too suspicious.

Lost and confused, Vermouth could only stand at the base of the Ferris wheel, watching the situation unfold.

The boarding area was indeed empty of tourists.

Yuu delivered a violent kick to the locked gate, bursting into the interior of the Ferris wheel.

He immediately activated his detection magic. Combined with his superhuman senses, he quickly mapped out everything within a one-kilometer radius.

If Curacao had any electronic devices on her, it would be even easier—Noah could have just tracked her.

Three seconds later, Yuu locked onto Curacao's position.

She was in a cabin on the southern wheel.

The cabin was ascending and would reach the apex in a few minutes.

Directly above the Ferris wheel, above the dark clouds, an American Falcon fighter jet was circling.

Inside the jet were several familiar faces.

Chianti was the pilot. Fusae Campbell stood behind her.

There was also the CIA mole Stout, whom Yuu had met before, and a bearded stranger.

There were some variations, but overall, it was the same.

It had to be said, the "convergence force" of the world line was quite strong.

Yuu wasted no more time, unleashing his full speed.

His body moved like a leopard, scaling the internal scaffolding of the Ferris wheel with blurring speed. He soon reached the very top of the dual-wheel structure.

Standing on the steel girders above the dual wheels, he looked down upon the entire Touto Aquarium as the gale howled around him.

It provided a hint of the thrill of extreme sports, but only a hint.

Given Yuu's absurd physical stats, this level of excitement was comparable to an ordinary person walking across a balance beam.

It didn't even trigger a significant release of adrenaline.
