Lin Mo discovered that the Land of Abandoned Ghosts was actually an extremely high-level secret realm with levels as high as Lv85–Lv95.
For Lin Mo, who was only level 79 at the moment, it was really a little too much.
It could be seen that the secret realm monsters scattered outside Ghost Domain City were at least level 85.
And all of them were Ghost Clan monsters: Ghost Beasts.
With the bloodline bonus of one of the Divine Oracle World's Supreme Races.
The strength of those Ghost Beasts far exceeded that of ordinary monsters.
On the surface, they looked like level 85 monsters, but in reality, their stats were already nearly at the level of level 87–88 monsters.
Without a doubt, this further increased the difficulty of the secret realm.
However, no matter how much those Ghost Beasts outside the city bared their fangs and claws and provoked him, Lin Mo did not go out to provoke them.
After all, before finding the secret realm quest, killing them had no meaning whatsoever. It would be completely pointless.
At this moment, Lin Mo was actually rather glad that there was a safe zone like Ghost Domain in this secret realm.
Because the Ghost Beasts outside Ghost Domain could not enter Ghost Domain, so they could not affect Lin Mo.
Lin Mo could search for the secret realm quest in Ghost Domain City without a care in the world, without worrying about being disturbed.
Although it seemed somewhat absurd.
After all, all the secret realm monsters outside the city were Ghost Beasts, while Ghost Domain was the main city of the Ghost Clan, which was equivalent to them being unable to enter their own home.
But, a safe zone was simply this overbearing and absolute.
After wandering around for a while, Lin Mo discovered, "This Ghost Domain is actually quite prosperous!"
Aside from being completely empty, devoid of life, and filled with a deathly silence.
In terms of its buildings and construction, it was actually in no way inferior to the players' Level Two Main City, Inferno City.
It was even more luxurious than Inferno City.
This naturally made one wonder, "The owner of this city should have quite a high standing in the Ghost Clan."
However, Lin Mo wandered around the enormous Ghost Domain City for a while and could not find any clues related to the secret realm quest.
During the entire morning, he had practically traversed the whole of Ghost Domain City, leaving no corner unchecked.
Except for a manor located at the very center of the city.
Of course, it was not that Lin Mo did not want to enter.
Rather, that manor had a minimum entry requirement of level 80.
The possibility that the secret realm quest was outside Ghost Domain City was not very high.
"Could the quest really be inside this manor?"
If that was really the case, the problem was not too big.
After all, Lin Mo was currently level 79, only one level away from level 80.
His experience bar had even reached 91.35%.
Going outside the city to kill some Ghost Beasts would not take long to reach level 80.
Looking at the time, it was almost twelve noon.
Just then, Ning Xi sent a message, ["Brother Lin Mo, Xiaofei said he found information about the Land of Abandoned Ghosts. It might help you clear the Land of Abandoned Ghosts."]
["Log out and eat lunch first. Let's discuss it together!"]
That was fine.
He would log out and have lunch first, then come back in the afternoon to look for the quest.
At this moment, Lin Mo could not help feeling extremely fortunate, "Luckily, I completed the second-stage God Creation assessment ahead of time."
Otherwise, there were less than ten minutes left until the second-stage God Creation assessment ended.
And Lin Mo was still trapped inside the Land of Abandoned Ghosts secret realm.
He definitely would not have had a chance to participate in the assessment.
And next, the third-stage assessment would take place from twelve noon today until twelve midnight.
As long as he found the secret realm quest this afternoon, cleared the secret realm, and got out, he would still have time to participate in the assessment.
Whoosh!
White light flashed, Lin Mo disappeared from Ghost Domain City.

Zhao Lingyun had already prepared lunch.
The four of them sat around the table while eating lunch.
Ning Fei said, "This Land of Abandoned Ghosts is an Lv85–95 Ghost Clan Golden-rank secret realm of one of the Divine Oracle World's Supreme Races."
"The entrance is located in Ghost King City."
"Clearing all the monsters inside Ghost King City will open the secret realm entrance."
Lin Mo and Ning Xi already knew this.
Unfortunately, they had found out too late.
"If we had known earlier, we could have prepared in advance," Ning Xi sighed softly.
But in reality, this was also impossible to predict.
After all, even if Ning Fei's internet skills were excellent, he still needed some useful information as a basis before he could investigate anything.
If Nether, Frost Dance, and the others had not set up their plans in Ghost King City, how could outsiders have known that there was a Ghost Clan Golden-rank secret realm called [Land of Abandoned Ghosts] within the territory of Inferno City?
Without the information that the place was called Land of Abandoned Ghosts.
What could Ning Fei investigate?
Where would he even start?
It was like taking an open-book exam.
You still needed to have the questions before you could look for the answers.
After a pause, Ning Fei continued, "Also, Soul Devourer is the only activation key for the Land of Abandoned Ghosts secret realm."
Hearing this, Lin Mo was slightly shaken.
He seemed to understand as well.
"Looks like Nether and the others' original purpose was probably just to expose the location of the entrance to the Land of Abandoned Ghosts to us. They never intended to directly lure me inside with the Ghost King."
After all, this was a Golden-rank secret realm of one of the Divine Oracle World's Supreme Races, the Ghost Clan.
And coincidentally, the only key that could activate the secret realm, [Soul Devourer], was in Lin Mo's hands.
Once Lin Mo discovered this secret realm, could he not enter it?
Of course not.
And no matter how he entered, as long as Lin Mo went inside, he would be trapped. Nether's objective would then be accomplished.
Ning Fei then continued, "According to Divine Oracle's background setting for this secret realm, there should be a Ghost Clan capital city in the Land of Abandoned Ghosts called Ghost Domain. It was once the territory of the Ghost Clan Venerable, Soul Reaper · Raffa, but was later jointly flattened by the God Clan and Angel Clan."
"In order to suppress the Ghost Clan members in the Land of Abandoned Ghosts and prevent them from coming out to harm the human world, the God Clan and Angel Clan established a double barrier in the Land of Abandoned Ghosts. Those without bloodlines above the Ghost Clan King level cannot break through this barrier."
"Also, this secret realm can only be entered by members of the Ghost Clan."
Now Ning Xi understood.
"No wonder that Ghost King could freely enter and leave, while Brother Lin Mo, you were trapped inside and couldn't get out!"
Indeed.
Lin Mo was currently in the process of carrying out the SSS-rank hidden-class Ghost Monarch quest, which was equivalent to temporarily having the status of a Ghost Clan disciple.
He was not even considered a Ghost Beast.
After learning that Lin Mo was actually trapped in the Land of Abandoned Ghosts.
Zhao Lingyun also began to worry. She asked Ning Fei, "Then how can he get out?"
"If he can't become a true member of the Ghost Clan faction and raise his bloodline strength to at least the Ghost King level or above, then there is only one way: clear the secret realm."
Ning Fei said, "Or, wait fourteen days. Regardless of whether a player clears it or not, this secret realm will automatically disappear."
Fourteen days?
That was obviously unrealistic.
The Divine Descent Seraph · Siya would completely fall to darkness in only a few days.
Before that, Lin Mo had to complete the God Creation assessment, join the God Clan faction, enter the Divine Kingdom, and complete the SS-rank hidden quest, Heart Knot.
Moreover, Soul Devourer was now in the hands of the Ghost King Soul Manipulator · Zade. As long as it reached S-rank, its weakened state could be restored.
If he really waited fourteen days before coming out.
Everything would be too late.
"No."
Lin Mo said firmly, "I must clear the secret realm as soon as possible and get out of the Land of Abandoned Ghosts."
Ning Fei had obviously already guessed that Lin Mo would make this decision.
He immediately continued, "Brother-in-law, the secret realm quest is hidden inside that Ghost Venerable's manor in Ghost Domain City."
"So it really is there?"
"The only place that wasn't searched this morning."
Lin Mo's train of thought instantly became clear.
That meant: use the secret realm monsters, the Ghost Beasts outside Ghost Domain City, to quickly level up to 80.
Then enter the manor in the city and obtain the secret realm quest.
As much as possible, finish the quest and clear the secret realm this afternoon.
Or more precisely, it was not "as much as possible."
It was a must.
