After quite a few twists and turns, Lin Mo and Ning Xi finally learned the truth.
Twenty years ago, after the Seventh Princess of the God Clan, Siya, sacrificed her life to stop the Catastrophe and save Inferno City, Mo Chen gave up his work as a blacksmith and began traveling everywhere, searching for a way to restore Siya's divine aura and bring her back to life.
However, on the war-torn Oracle Continent, where conflict between the races never ceased, he was attacked by the Black Demons of the Black Demon Clan and was forced to hide inside the Dark Underground City.
What he hadn't expected was that the Dark Underground City was actually the territory of another race on the Oracle Continent, the Blood Demon Clan.
After trespassing into another race's territory, Mo Chen had thought he was as good as dead.
To his surprise, the Blood Demon Clan also happened to be followers of Princess Siya.
According to the background records of Oracle, twenty years ago, the Catastrophe had centered around the Beast Clan's Inferno City. Many nearby racial settlements had also been affected, including the Blood Demon Clan.
So when Princess Siya blocked the Catastrophe, she had also saved the Blood Demon Clan from disaster.
The Blood Demon Clan believed in repaying kindness. After learning that Mo Chen had come to save Princess Siya, they kindly let him stay in the underground city.
That stay lasted twenty years.
Because the Black Demon Clan's Black Demon Legion had surrounded the city the entire time. Although they couldn't break in, the people inside couldn't get out either.
As one of the lowest-ranked ordinary races on the Oracle Continent, the Blood Demon Clan's entire territory consisted of nothing more than this single Dark Underground City.
It could be said there wasn't a race more miserable than the Blood Demon Clan.
After learning the truth, Lin Mo finally realized that he had misunderstood the Blood Ghost King.
Getting back to the point.
Now that they had found Mo Chen, Lin Mo got straight to the point.
"Master Mo, I heard that you repaired the Heart of Eternity for Siya back then."
"Would you be willing to repair it for her again?"
Mo Chen nodded with a smile, "Of course. No problem at all!"
Hearing that, gratitude filled Siya's clear eyes.
It was just like twenty years ago, when she had accidentally damaged the Heart of Eternity on her way to Inferno City, crouched alone in a corner feeling miserable, only for Mo Chen to suddenly appear, comfort her, and repair the Heart of Eternity for her.
"Thank you, Big Brother Mo."
"The one who should be thanking someone is me," Mo Chen said to Siya, "If it weren't for Your Highness back then, everyone in Inferno City, including myself, would have died in the Catastrophe."
"It is my honor to be of service to Your Highness."
As he spoke, Mo Chen accepted the bracelet that Siya removed from her slender wrist, the Heart of Eternity.
He turned and walked back into the wooden house, placing the Heart of Eternity into a furnace.
Not long afterward, golden light burst from within the furnace.
When the Heart of Eternity returned to Siya's hands, it had truly been completely restored.

[Heart of Eternity (Exclusive Weapon of the Divine Advent Seraph Siya)]
[Contract Equipment: Level 60 Tier 4 Gold Judgment: Dance of the Sky (inherits the contracted equipment's level and quality after contracting)]
[Level: 60]
[Quality: Tier 4 Gold]
[Magic Attack: +10,200]
[Bonus Attributes: +710 Intelligence, +710 Spirit]
[Exclusive Effect: Whenever Divine Advent Seraph Siya uses the Heart of Eternity to deal normal attack or skill damage to an enemy, it also restores HP equal to 25% of her Magic Attack to one nearby ally. (The effect increases based on the contracted equipment's tier. Current effect: Tier 4. Healing prioritizes the owner. If the owner is at full HP, other teammates are healed instead.)]
[Note: Bound to Siya. Cannot be dropped or traded.]

Lin Mo remembered that before the repair, while contracted to the same Level 60 Tier 4 Gold equipment, Judgment: Dance of the Sky, the Heart of Eternity only had 7,140 Magic Attack.
Its bonus attributes were only 500 Intelligence and 500 Spirit.
That was because the damaged Heart of Eternity retained only 70% of its stats.
Now that it had been repaired, it had recovered to 100% of its attributes.
After putting the Heart of Eternity back on, Siya's Magic Attack rose from 19,040 to 22,880.
Of course, the biggest improvement wasn't the increase in attack power.
It was the Heart of Eternity's exclusive effect.
While damaged, its exclusive effect couldn't be triggered at all.
But now, the Heart of Eternity's exclusive effect could finally activate.
That meant Siya could finally go down the poison healer path.
Lin Mo immediately took out a skill book from his backpack.
He had specifically prepared it for Siya's poison healer build before entering the Dark Underground City.

In Oracle, any player of the Healer class could develop in one of two directions:
The first was a pure healer. They could only heal and had almost no offensive capability.
Although they were extremely popular for clearing dungeons and secret realms, a must-have T1 position for any team, they depended far too much on their teammates. If their teammates were strong, they were useful. If their teammates weren't, there was nothing they could do. Once separated from their team, they were practically useless. They couldn't even farm monsters efficiently on their own.
The second path was the poison healer.
They could both deal damage and heal.
Capable of fighting and supporting themselves, they were the dream build for countless Healers.
The problem was that poison healers usually ended up with the same issue: not enough damage and not enough healing.
They couldn't deal enough damage, nor could they provide enough healing, making them the type that every dungeon progression team disliked.
That was because poison healer skills generally had both low damage multipliers and low healing multipliers.
As a result, they required extremely high player stats and equipment.
They were basically a build reserved for whales.
Ordinary players simply couldn't afford to play poison healer.
Lin Mo, however, wasn't a whale.
He was a cheater.
Without another word, Lin Mo activated his SSS-rank talent, Soul Flame, and used one-click evolution on Blood Sacrifice.
The skill evolution panel displayed 12,358 Skill Evolution Points.
More than enough.
[Ding! Consumed 127 Skill Evolution Points. Congratulations! E-rank skill book Blood Sacrifice has been evolved with one click into the max-rank SSS skill: Blood Devourer - Life Sacrifice!]
Lin Mo looked at the evolved skill book in his hand.

Special Effect 1: +20% damage multiplier per hit.
Special Effect 2: +20% healing conversion rate.
Special Effect 3: Healing target changes from one ally to three random allies, with the healing split between them. (If there is only one ally, all healing goes to that target.)

It was easy to see that, even after reaching the maximum SSS rank, the skill's total damage multiplier was only 540%.
Even adding the extra 20% damage from its special effect, it barely reached 660%.
That was still well below the roughly 700% multiplier of a normal SSS single-target damage skill.
Which was exactly why ordinary players couldn't make the poison healer build work.
But for the divine pet possessing the Supreme Royal Bloodline, the Divine Advent Seraph, Siya, it was a completely different story.
Lin Mo immediately taught the skill to Siya.
