looked absolutely terrifying!
Forget a small mountain.
Even a fortress made entirely of steel...
looked as though it would be smashed apart by a single blow!
Electric light flickered around the head of the weapon as well...
making the attack appear even more frightening.
The spectators throughout the venue...
stared at the incoming attack in stunned silence.
It almost felt...
as though they were witnessing an asteroid crashing into the planet.
Terrifying!
The destructive aura radiating from the attack...
made the spectators feel as though their hearts were being squeezed tight.
And Suicune...
the one directly facing the attack...
was in an even worse situation.
Although its body had been completely frozen...
it was still conscious.
Through the surrounding layer of ice...
it could clearly see what was happening outside.
As Suicune watched that terrifying attack descend toward it...
its heart practically froze with fear.
What the hell?!
What kind of attack was this?!
Why did it look so terrifying?!
If that attack landed on it...
wouldn't it be enough to knock it out in a single blow?!
And worse...
it might even flatten its entire body!
Too terrifying!
No!
It absolutely couldn't take this attack head-on!
It had to dodge!
But dodge?
Where could it possibly go?
Its entire body was currently frozen solid!
Suicune desperately forced every ounce of strength from its body.
Under the pressure of that overwhelming danger...
it completely squeezed out every bit of remaining potential it possessed.
Powerful energy burst outward!
And this effort...
actually produced some results.
Under the impact of the energy erupting from within...
countless tiny cracks began appearing...
across the ice surrounding Suicune's body.
As the energy continued surging outward...
those cracks visibly spread...
across the entire block of ice.
Given just a few more seconds...
Suicune would successfully break free!
But...
did it still have enough time?
Vikemon's finishing attack...
had already been fully charged and unleashed!
He had also noticed Suicune's struggle.
And so...
the weapon descended even faster!
Finally—
BOOOOM!!
A deafening explosion erupted!
The massive weapon...
slammed viciously into the frozen Suicune!
In that instant...
Suicune felt an unimaginably violent impact tear through its body.
It was almost as though...
an entire planet had fallen from the depths of space at tremendous speed...
and struck it dead-on!
It hurts!
I'm going to die!
Those were Suicune's final thoughts...
before it lost consciousness.
Yet...
in the final instant before the attack landed...
Suicune had actually managed...
to squeeze out the last of its strength...
and successfully use Protect!
A green barrier appeared around its body.
Suicune tried to rely on that barrier...
to reduce the damage it would suffer.
Ideally...
it hoped Protect could completely block the attack.
Unfortunately...
that hope was completely shattered.
The instant Vikemon's attack struck...
the Protect barrier...
didn't even last a tenth of a second!
It shattered immediately...
breaking apart into fragments of energy before disappearing completely.
And then...
the full terrifying force of Vikemon's attack...
poured directly into Suicune's body!
