Alexander Blackbell and Dandelion Hoshina had been two of the strongest talents in the previous generation of Lumenia. With another person, they had created a team and were the strongest group. Even though the team had now disbanded, everyone was doing their own thing in life now and was busy with something.
This third person in their team was also a very famous person of the current era. Ignoring him for the time being,
A century later, Dandelion and Alexander had tied the knot and married each other after years of being in a relationship. They had three daughters. The oldest one moved to Earth and started a family there. The middle daughter was schemed against due to her immense talent and had long since died. The youngest was Alia Hoshina, a Supernova, and was 101 years old.
All three daughters had immense talent and were the pride of their parents. But it was very unfortunate for them that while their father went out on journeys and rarely returned, their mother was very dominant and put them through rough training day and night, forcing them to learn the Plasma Aura.
The Plasma Aura is one of the two secondary auras, and Dandelion is currently the only holder of it.
What exactly makes an aura a secondary aura? It is its natural ability to be awakened and used by many aura users. Taking Meditation Aura as an example, nearly all the aura users in the aura region had awakened it and enjoyed its miscellaneous abilities every day. It could be said that without the existence of Meditation Aura, the aura region wouldn't have become this strong, no matter how strong the primary auras became. Just its teleportation ability is very strong and useful, let alone the other powers that greatly support the life of an aura user.
The Plasma Aura has only one ability and is much, much harder to awaken, learn, control, and use. But high risks bring high rewards. Its ability is thus very strong, and it has made Dandelion one of the most terrifying aura users. Even when she was old and frail, she could hold her own against the current generation and not fear anyone.
"I had lost to her two times before having to deduce a new technique to counter the ability of her Plasma Aura and finally defeat her."
Sasaki had naturally fought her, and she had been a very tough nut to crack, but with enough tries and hard work, she was also defeated by him.
Dandelion slowly opened her eyes as she looked at the colourful flowers around her. Most of the flowers were blue hydrangeas and chocolate cosmos, but in some places, there were purple tulips and white dandelions mixed in, too. Sasaki had purposely set up these colours and types of flowers.
Anyone else might ignore this arrangement, but Dandelion understood the meaning quite well.
"Hmph, insolent brat. Thinking that just because you had a daughter with my daughter doesn't mean that I am a part of your family."
Dandelion transmitted to Sasaki without any fear.
Hearing her angry voice, Sasaki instead laughed inwardly. "Haha, do not be so angry, mother-in-law. I know you were quite happy when Alisa was born."
"As if you had let me take and train her to be a strong girl," Dandelion shot back with an angry voice.
Her name was Dandelion, but she was not fragile or delicate like a flower. She was dominant, with a will like steel. She had been looking for a successor all this time but had been unable to find one. Her daughters had chosen their own paths, and the one who had shown interest and wanted to learn Plasma Aura had long since died. She still feels regret about this to this day.
The only hope left for her was the new daughter of Sasaki and Alia, or the descendants of her first daughter who were on Earth right now. It would be best if she got Alisa as her successor, as she had strong and reliable parents. With her genetics, she would naturally be very talented and have a bright future if no mishaps happened.
But too sadly for her, her relationship with Alia had never been on good terms, and Alia even hated her outright. She had been kicked from the family when it was revealed that she was an aura user belonging to the Evil Pathway. But she had to be from the Hoshina family, which presided over the Goodness Pathway. She felt immense pressure when this news came out and had to kick her out of the family. Even though she secretly helped her daughter, she never spent any real time with her and acted like she didn't even know her.
Alia had never forgiven her and saw her with animosity every time she looked at her. Who could blame her, though? She had been kicked out of her family just because she belonged to a different pathway than the one her family presided over. She spent her childhood in difficulty, fighting and killing others to get every bit of resources she could to continue advancing and reach the stage she had reached.
And now that she had finally gotten a daughter, her mother dared to come and try to take her? How absurd was this!?
"No way!" was Alia's first thought when she read the letter sent by Dandelion. Alia had rejected all of Dandelion's pleas and requests to meet and talk. Dandelion didn't blame her or get angry. She completely understood her daughter.
If she were in her place, she would feel the same. But she had no choice back then. If she hadn't made this decision, she would have had to send her out to some place where she would definitely die.
Alia had reached this stage. How could she not understand the situation her mother was in? "But even still, I can't come to forgive her." Alia had tried, but the emotions in her mind and heart were too complex. She had had a problem finishing her Lysi Nova rank's steps of the method of control, because of this, back in the day, too.
Sasaki had always taken Alia's side in this matter. She was the person he liked to spend time with and travel with the most. She was also the mother of his child. How could he not?
Dandelion had long made her decision. "It looks like I need to cooperate with Alexander in the Paris operation and get my granddaughter to Lumenia. How long has it been since I last saw him?"
As she recalled the past, she walked up the stairs as the two exchanged greetings. Dandelion gifted Sasaki another large resource point with a special charm that came into his world of consciousness and subconsciousness.
Saying: "You have my blessings and support in raising Alisa. I hope you two protect her."
Reading this, Sasaki's eyes flickered for a second as he looked at this woman who was taller than him by a head and saw a warm light of love in her eyes. Sasaki showed a deep smile as he nodded.
Dandelion had a small smile on her face as she walked past Sasaki.
Two Hypernovas came and escorted her to her assigned room.
