The flight back felt shorter than it should've.

Ryan stood near it, looking like he hadn't slept in two days, tablet in hand and expression serious.
"Welcome back, sir," he said, opening the door immediately. Then his gaze flicked to Mira, polite but careful. "Ma'am."
