Karry looked at Jikki with disbelief.
Karry: "How the hell am I supposed to do that without Aute? Is there any other power like Aute?"
Jikki shook her head.
Jikki: "Not that I know of."
She paused.
Jikki: "But perhaps the Entities have something similar."
Karry's expression changed.
Karry: "How do you know about the existence of Entities?"
Jikki looked at him.
Jikki: "Entities were already mentioned in our ancient texts. They were called Dajua."
She continued:
Jikki: "Their modern name is what we call Entities."
Karry listened carefully.
Jikki: "Even now, we don't truly know what the outside world looks like. It's been years since we've received reliable information from outside."
Her expression became more serious.
Jikki: "And getting outsiders here has become difficult."
She looked toward the entrance of the underground city.
Jikki: "Ever since that humanoid appeared—the one we call the Sand Calamity—its influence has spread."
Jikki: "Most outsiders who enter this place eventually become monsters. Then we have no choice but to kill them."
She sighed.
Jikki: "And as time passes, those monsters are becoming harder to defeat."
Jikki turned toward Karry.
Jikki: "But don't worry."
A determined smile appeared on her face.
Jikki: "We just have to become stronger."
She pointed at Karry.
Jikki: "And you, as my slave, aren't going anywhere."
Jikki: "You'll help me become stronger."
She crossed her arms.
Jikki: "Now, train."
Karry sighed and walked toward the training room.
Meanwhile, Jikki remained on the other side of the chamber.
She watched him carefully.
"I've heard that the Eyes of the Sand have adaptive abilities."
"If he activates it, he may be able to control it eventually."
"But I won't allow him to rely on it."
"He has to achieve it through hard work and smart thinking."
Karry stopped at the entrance to the training room.
He looked at the countless traps ahead.
Karry: "This is going to be hard."
