BOOM!!!!!
As Felix piloted the Genesis Gundam to retreat from the battlefield at maximum speed, a violent explosion occurred on the territory of Orb.
The intense explosion instantly reduced the Dawn Organization, owned by Orb, to rubble.
"They just blew it up like that!"
Watching the explosion on Orb's territory through the screen, Felix exclaimed with amazement. After his exclamation, he saw the Mass Driver's track also gradually exploding.
"Excellent!"
Looking at the exploding Mass Driver, Felix said happily. As he spoke, Felix thought of the Earth Alliance Forces and their objectives, which made him even more pleased.
"All their efforts have come to nothing!

Earth Alliance Forces, Fourth Fleet at Sea
On the bridge of the flagship
Director Azrael stared at the exploding Mass Driver and the Dawn Organization, his eyes widening in shock before quickly turning to grim anger, his hands gripping the armrests tightly.
"Bastard!"
He growled under his breath, then turned to the fleet commander beside him, suppressing the fury in his heart as he demanded.
"Land on the island, occupy Orb completely, and purge all high-ranking officials of Orb!"
"Hmm."
The fleet commander nodded with a hint of restrained anger and agreed.
At that moment, a soldier's report came through.
"Commander, an MS is rapidly retreating from Orb!"
"Confirmed to be that ZAFT MS!"
With that, the Genesis Gundam was projected onto the screen.
The fleet commander watched the retreating Genesis Gundam but did not order a pursuit.
However, Director Azrael did not share this view.
"Attack that guy fiercely!"
"Director Azrael, we have many tasks ahead of us. Moreover, if this guy is active here in Orb, there must be other ZAFT Forces accompanying him. If we attack him, our operation to occupy Orb could fail."
Looking at Director Azrael, the fleet commander calmly analyzed the pros and cons of an attack.
Hearing this analysis, Director Azrael calmed down somewhat, but he did not relent on his demand to attack.
Seeing his unwillingness to back down, the fleet commander showed no intention of yielding either.
"Why aren't you giving the order?"When no command came from the fleet commander, Director Azrael's barely suppressed anger flared up again, and he turned to question darkly."
In response to the questioning, the fleet commander glanced at him and replied calmly.
"I'm sorry, but you are not my direct superior and have no authority to command me here." After replying, he looked ahead at the nearly captured Orb and continued. "Moreover, we've suffered so many casualties. If we gain nothing from this, how will we explain it to our superiors? How will we explain it to the citizens?"
At the end, the fleet commander took a deep breath, looked at Director Azrael, and concluded.
"If you want me to attack ZAFT, please contact my superior and have him issue the order!"
With that, the fleet commander ignored Director Azrael any further and opened communications to order the troops to land on the island.
Councilman Azrael's face was dark, a flash of ruthlessness passing through his eyes as he rose from his seat. His voice carried a chilling tone as he spoke.
"I hope you can maintain this stubbornness!"
With that, Councilman Azrael turned and left.
After a glance at the departing councilman, the fleet commander withdrew his gaze and continued directing the fleet's island landing operations.
In a room aboard the warship
Bang!
The sound of shattering objects echoed.
Followed by an outburst of rage within the room.
"Bastard! Bastard!" Cursing furiously, Councilman Azrael lifted his head, a vicious expression appearing on his face as he snarled. "Since you dare defy me, you'd better be prepared to face the consequences."
As he spoke, an idea began to take shape in Councilman Azrael's mind. With this thought, he calmed considerably, a faint smile appearing on his lips.
Meanwhile
Felix continued piloting the Genesis Gundam at maximum speed toward Carpentaria Base.
During the journey, Felix's thoughts turned to the events at Victoria Spaceport.
"I hope Doug is alright?"
Worry creeping into his heart, Felix pushed the Genesis Gundam to accelerate even faster.
...
After some time in flight,
Felix's Genesis Gundam touched down at Carpentaria Base.
After landing, Felix exited the cockpit and headed straight for the office building.
In his assigned office
Sitting at the desk, Felix activated communications and directly contacted Patrick.
"What is it?"
Patrick's voice came through once the connection was established. Looking at Patrick on the screen, Felix recounted the events that had occurred in Orb.
"Chairman, how should we handle this matter?"
After finishing his report, Felix posed the question to Patrick.
In response, Patrick's voice carried a tone of accountability through the comm.
"Felix, why didn't you execute the mission directly?"
"Chairman, the task you assigned me was supplementary execution, not direct execution. So when Athrun stated he could continue the mission, I had no reason to doubt or interfere."
Facing Patrick's inquiry, Felix directly explained the justification he had prepared. After presenting his defense, a trace of bitterness appeared on Felix's face as he added.
"Chairman, Athrun is your son! I never would have imagined he would act against your wishes!"
Upon hearing this, Patrick's expression faltered slightly.
He pondered the matter and realized he too hadn't anticipated his son would take such actions.
With this thought, the accusatory tone faded somewhat from Patrick's face, though his voice remained stern.
"Compile a detailed report of this incident for me!"
"Yes, Chairman!"
Acknowledging Patrick's order with a salute, Felix watched as the communication was terminated.
Lowering his arm, Felix smiled faintly.
"Athrun's status really comes in handy! Anyone else might not have gotten off so easily."

After ending the communication, Patrick leaned back in his chair and quietly pondered.
"Athrun, what are you planning? Are you going to betray PLANT?"
While deep in thought, Patrick murmured uncertainly. After this murmur, he opened a communication channel to issue orders.
"Dispatch our active units in space to search for the Archangel and remnants of the Orb Union!"
"Understood!"
A response came through the communication channel shortly after Patrick's command was given.
