A single girl sat unsociably at one of the dining tables, her demeanor casting a shadow of intimidation and shyness,although her beauty caused many men to sit around her,including envious women and admirers alike ,it also brought vultures attempting to prey on someone they deemed timid or weak minded.
she had pale white skin dark blue eyes white hair, with silver accessories,pink libs full cheeks, with a sharp jawline,and slightly pointy ears ,she wore a black wizard robe over her, white shirt ,black vest, a tie , black skirt ,and black shoes,she looked beautiful and cute but also a little nerdish,which increased her charm,She ate like a bull not caring about those around her, as she dug in atleast 5 plates,her companion a black cat like dragon with gold eyes ,but small in size comparable to a new born human infant, at times sharing her food with this creature.
Indeed she was Astrea,the only one of the kings halfbreed children who stood up in respect,she was the child of one of the two Elven princesses given to the king as a sign of good faith, for peace ,out of all her half bread, half siblings, she was the most dotted on,and the most liked, her beauty and academic achievements held great sway,but her character shined most of all ,if only she was more social, ambitious or politically inclined,then incase of her fully human brothers the Queens sons deaths,she had the highest chance of gaining the throne.
Astrea laughed as her familiar,moved around her, messing up her hair,"leonard ,leonard ,stopppp",she said whimsically ,while she giggled ,she had grown use to this creature, she called Leonard's antics,and found them quite funny,she would throw chunks of food in the air and leonard wood swoop in,causing her to laugh and smile,her interactions with this creature were the only times she let her gaurd down,this led others to approach her but when they did,she would hide her face and curl herself into a ball,the creature,staring angrily with an upset face growling at the new Guest hence ,after a few minutes people spaced themselves away from her.
Meanwhile Galahad finally finished arguing against the Cafeteria lady her name was old Gwen,she had a distinct hatred for him when he approached ,and when he picked something from the long list of food, she would either hike up the prices or say that it's been pre-ordered,"five silver!!",she would say,as Galahad grimaced,"are you crazy,this is a robbery",Galahad replied his voice neither loud nor soft resisting the Temptation in the end he had to hagle the price to half of each of the initial given by Old Gwen.
Galahad sighed walking dishartedly towards the dining Table people snickering,gossiping as they walked by,each person looked at him with anger some would politely greet him after walking past their eyes would twitch and fake smiles fade, afterwards his mind began to visualize the scenes of those people as blank faces with pitch black eyes, a nose and white mouth and their gender with traits,such as hair type,removing each person's uniqueness,his head spun from nausea.
As he walked to the seat Benjamin had reserved for him,from afar Benjamin stood up from his chair waving his arms," Galahad!,here!",he said with a smile,Darian pinched his knose in embarrassment before releasing a gentle smile,having memories of his naive care free youth on Earth as he threw snow balls with Jordan, jeff johns son, in the cold snow,or how he would go out with nets in his father Conrads estate as a young child at night to catch light crickets,his smile was even more sincere,as it was out of admiration, because although he knew Benjamin was not a naive person,Benjamin could be so open and care free,despite the circumstances,that was a skill Darian believed he himself lacked.
Galahad seeing this was surprised his eyes wide his face in a state of shock,before quickly regaining his composure,just then 3 nobles,1 girl, and two boys, got in his face,the one leading them had red hair the other two having black hair,before Galahad could fully process their intentions the red haired boy purposefully collided against Galahad positioning his hands to knock the tray into Galahad.
Luckily Galahads reactions were second to none, magic or not, although the drinks still managed to land on his body he managed to catch each and every single one of the rest of his food,before they could hit the ground ,his eyes tensed up ,muttering underneath his breath,"this took alot of money ,you know",Darian and Galahad bearing witness to the scene while the others around them turned their heads,"oh,sorry",The red head said, as he pulled back his hair covering half of his face only one gold colored eye showing,as he looked down on Galahad,while trying to hold back his laughter,his face grinning from ear to ear the goons behind him couldn't help but snicker, a tell tale sign that this was all a planned out scheme.
The red head outstretched his hand,To him he had power over this wretch that currently stood on his knees before him,to help him up would be equivalent to him aiding a peasent,Galahad placed his one arm on his knees lifting himself from the ground,his eyes meeting with the red heads as a staring contest started ," oh I see,my oh my ,I forgot my manners my name is kirsh Blackstone vermillion,a Noble hailing from the vermillion mountains","I see", galahad replied, calming down his anger turning his body to leave,and just before that,kirsh laughed and said jokingly,"Next time remember to look were your going",this sentence triggered Galahad giving him the desire to start a fight, as he turned his body halfway, his eyes meeting with kirsh,before he could do anything Benjamin had already arrived, gripping his shoulder so as to not make any hasty decisions.
Meanwhile Darian came from behind the 3 bullies,simultaneously moving one hand in a circular motion,as he used magic to clean the spilt drink,by levitating each dropplet Back into the cup,his eyes staring death into kirsh while having a calm aura, before leaving as he walked passed them escorting Galahad to his seat.
kirsh sighed their was something horrifying about,this situation his heart tightened the moment he saw Darian,"who the hell does he think he is ",he said, his pride deeply hurt by what had just occured,one of the Black haired goons called Epimetheus angrily said ," He brings a bad name to you,people could associate your grace with his evil,just because he has red hair as well ",the sister named lethe quickly replied," while ofcourse,his hair isn't as good as yours","That's right!", kirsh said, as he held his hips with both hands then flicking his hair and smirking.
As they sat on their seats Benjamin gaze were deep with a desire to exact justice,"those scoundrels",he said with passion,Darian spoke, " I'm surprised,the statues showed no reaction after they did that ",Benjamin replied," It must need certain requirements to be met",Galahad chuckled, "thank you, but theirs no need to harp on this issue any further for my sake",Benjamin shook his head," Its not for your sake anymore, but for justice,seeing someone you know, mocked and rediculed doesn't feel right,and shouldn't! be ignored","what do you think should be done",Darian asked,Benjamin frowned, placing his hand on his chin in deep thought," should we involve the teachers","leave it,its unlikely, that their willing to get involved ",Galahad replied ,"my thoughts exactly " said Darian.
"Its seems those guys are from Class ( A ),the dragons,judging from the way they act,they were probably inflicted with a curse since young", Benjamin chuckled at his own remark,Darian looked at him Mischievously "you know what they say only a kiss from a prince can undo such a curse ",lifting up his eye brows half blinking twice as he said this the ,"grosss!"Benjamin reacted,Galahad chuckling.
Darian laughed,"whats funny ",Benjamin frowned,"Theirs no laughing matter",Darian looked at Benjamin and said ,"I've figured it out","so have I ",Galahad said both looking at each other and nodding,"What are you guys talking about","you'll see in a few minutes time", Darian smiled Mischievously.
"But before that I want us to make a pact with each other","what kind of pact",Galahad replied immediately his tone filled with suspicion,Benjamin's confusion grew ,"Are we switching the topic again,guys I'm curious too,you know","its simple actually",Darian said calmly,"lets promise each other that as long as anybody messes with one of us we are going to help each other resolve the issue,doesn't matter which one of us it is","really thats all? ",Benjamin asked,"I was planning to do that from the start",Galahad smiled ," I agree",as they bumbed fists to seal the promise
Darian used one hand moving it in a circular motion looking at the table a few metres away from his, at the dining table where kirsh,lethe and Epimetheus were sitting, a small an unoticible glow appeared beneath their plates, and before they could fully sense it Darian smirked, a powerful gust of air suddenly forming flicking the treys of food into the faces of the trio.
The surrounding crowd,reacted with an instance of silence then an explosion of strong laughter a release that felt like it had been suppressed for centuries while others still tried to suppress their laughter ,their eyes were in tears from such an act,kirshes purple eyed were wide open ,his anger boiling as he slammed the table ,"Who dare!!!,make a fool out of me!","show yourselves!!",he said in great anger ,his eyes meeting Darians smirk,as his fists clenched with anger.
