Julian reviewed the security footage while his coffee cooled.


Iris moved through the penthouse at 2:15 AM like she owned it. Not furtively. Not hurried. She'd walked to the assistant's desk with purpose, located the password immediately, he'd known she would; he'd left it there for exactly this reason,and opened the laptop with the efficiency of someone who'd done the calculation already and decided the risk was survivable.
