Upon getting home, Qin Yue got a call from Xu Wei.
"I found something, I'm on my way to your place with Pei Shi now"
Qin Yue raised an eyebrow, all the playfulness gone from his face.
Hanguang Zhe took in his expression and for once made no comment.
The wait was excruciating and time seemed to go by slowly.
When he heard the sound of a car pulling up in the driveway, Qin Yue let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding.
He quickly stood up and met them at the door. Both men had neutral expressions and nothing could be deduced from their faces.
This caused Qin Yue to relax a bit as he ushered them in.
They both took a seat and Xu Wei wasted no time in divulging the information they had gathered.
