William paused for a brief moment as he heard Yue calling him "nephew" with a small smile.
"Aunty Yue, I came here because I wanted to ask for your help with some matters."
He had barely managed to finish the first part of his sentence before Yue suddenly raised her hand and interrupted him without the slightest hesitation.
"Wait!!"
William immediately stopped speaking and looked at her with a puzzled expression, wondering whether he had accidentally said something inappropriate.
"Don't call me 'Aunty,'" Yue said as she frowned lightly, almost as if the very word itself irritated her.
"Umm...?" William blinked in confusion because the objection genuinely caught him off guard. Earlier she had casually referred to him as her nephew because of her close relationship with Anne, yet now she seemed completely unwilling to accept being addressed as his aunt, and the contradiction left him wondering what exactly was going through her mind.
