Humans have always believed that the world would end one day. But it wasn't as expected; some believed in the coming of a judgmental entity, while some believed that the world would just expire. But... but it seemed that those who came to judge us all had an accident that brought the world to eternal suffering... Or is this hell?...
The sound of dried leaves rustling through the dense forest could be heard. The Forest was thick and filled with tall trees blocking the sunlight from reaching most parts of the forest, with fog hanging at the topmost of the trees followed by the sound of fast-paced footsteps, crushing brittle leaves beneath hurried steps. And then the muffled growling of an animal could be heard.
A tall pale male figure running through the dense forest with his upper body exposed, leaving only tattered shorts; barefoot, hair seemingly white but disheveled. his skin clung tightly around his bones every ribs visible.... Graves was running for his life at the same time luring a devil to a trap. His lungs burning as they strained for air, his throat dried begging for mercy. His job was to lure the devil out for an ambush... Speaking of the devil, a seven-foot canine with horns was hot on his heels, it's muscles tightening around it's leathery skin it was a sharp contrast between the canine devil and the human it was pursing. Baring its fangs angrily with hunger and anger in it's eyes...
it added more speed to it's already terrifying speed. making Graves shudder "damn".
Graves had gone through this many times, but every experience felt new. "Fuck!... Fuck... I'm going to die." Graves cursed in a subdued voice.
his feets stroke root that had appeared on the surface, stepping on sharp stones and sticks , "damn it hurts" Graves blurted out with pain erched on his face.
running to an open space Graves turned around, filled with dried blood and multiple cuts and bruises... Graves tried breathing slowly to calm himself down... "but how the fuck I'm I supposed to be calm" that was literally a seven foot devil. Facing the canine devil, which approached him slowly with spit drooling down its mouth. "I'm filled with bones, you devil; there's nothing tasty in me, so could you just calm down?" Graves asked, half expecting it to lunge at him and devour him. Walking back, the devil followed slowly, with a smile gradually finding its way to Graves's face, "you idiot you pursued me for about half an hour and you think you can just eat me? hell no!" The devil had entered their trap!. Suddenly a net, which had been meticulously placed structured by his comrade, the net sprang up and yanked the devil wrapping around the it and lifted it off the ground. the devil momentarily stunned and thrown of balance could only at struggle violently, while letting out an ear splitting howl. Graves covered his ears, facing turning into a grimace "damn you devil just shut up". Well, of course the devil could easily shred the net to pieces, but that gave them enough time to attack it... Suddenly hidden figures came pouring down from the branches of the forest tree, each brandishing a club or a makeshift machete.
