Ray had a feeling that he didn't need to call out its name; it would find him. So he just sat on the platform, waiting for it to show itself.
"Blood angel."
Seeing in front of him, a child stared at him; the girl was the same on top of the mountain of bodies that he had seen during the festival. He had so many nightmares that it was hard to mistake it.
Nothing existed there, no magic nor any thoughts, yet I could clearly see the child.
"What should I call you?"
The girl moved her hand to her back and leaned toward Ray. "You can call my name."
"You heard my conversation with Famine." Ray was ready to put his life on the line so that the higher entity had its gaze upon them, yet even a devil couldn't see it.
"Devil of lust." The girl opened its mouth, with no teeth, and its smile sent a shiver down Ray's spine. "How do you think she will test?"
