Chapter 165: First Meeting with the Queen

As the trio arrived outside the ancient city, they found a gathering of over a dozen powerful beings.

Among them were humans and magical beasts, with the strongest being an eighth tier magical beast: a massive, earth colored serpent over a hundred meters long. Its enormous pupils radiated an oppressive aura, causing the nearby crowd both humans and beasts to back away cautiously.

The serpent's calm eyes shifted slightly when it spotted Xiao Yan and his companions.

"Are the three of you here to claim the ancient inheritance left behind by one of my snake clan's ancestors?"

Xiao Yan silently assessed the situation.

"So, there's an eighth tier magical beast hiding in the Tageer Desert. It seems the Northwest Continent has more hidden experts than I imagined."

He turned to the serpent and said calmly, "Indeed, this is the inheritance of the Seven Colored Beast Saint."

Hearing this, the serpent's pupils gleamed with excitement.

"To think that I, by chance, chose to cultivate in this desert and stumbled upon my clan's ancient inheritance! Haha! Young man, you three should leave now. Once I've claimed the Beast Saint's inheritance, I might reward you for your discovery."

The serpent's gaze turned cold as it swept over the nearby crowd of humans and beasts.

"What are you all still doing here? Leave now, or do you wish to become my next meal?"

At its words, fear flickered in the eyes of the surrounding crowd. One after another, they retreated.

In the Northwest Continent, where powerful figures were rare, an eighth tier magical beast or someone equivalent to a Dou Zun was more than enough to dominate the area. Against such a being, none dared to oppose it.

Once the crowd dispersed, the serpent turned its attention back to Xiao Yan and his companions, a satisfied smile in its eyes.

"I must thank you three for leading me to this treasure."

Before the serpent could act, Xiao Yan spoke, a faint smile on his lips.

"Thank you for helping us clear out the flies. Now, you may leave."

"...?" The serpent's pupils dilated in surprise before its expression darkened.

"Boy, your arrogance knows no bounds!"

"Am I arrogant?" Xiao Yan's gaze remained calm.

"If you don't leave now, you won't be able to later."

"Hahaha! It's been years since someone dared to speak to me like this. Since you're so blind, I'll just swallow you whole!"

Murderous intent gleamed in the serpent's eyes as it prepared to strike.

"Ah, it seems you're choosing death," Xiao Yan sighed softly before gesturing with a wave.

"Wu Lao, take care of him."

"As you command, Young Master." Wu Lao's lips curved into a faint smirk as he raised his hand.

A gigantic energy palm, hundreds of meters long, materialized in the sky.

The serpent's pupils contracted as panic flashed in its eyes. Only now did it realize why these three humans exuded such confidence. It immediately attempted to flee, its massive body twisting into a yellow streak of light.

Unfortunately for it, the surrounding space had already been sealed. It didn't get far before the massive palm easily captured it, squeezing it tightly.

"Spare me! Spare me!" the serpent cried out in desperation, its once imposing figure reduced to a pitiful sight as it writhed like a mere earthworm in Wu Lao's grasp.

"This little snake isn't even a two star Dou Zun. Should I just kill it, Young Master?" Wu Lao asked, turning to Xiao Yan.

"No need. Leave it here. We're waiting for someone," Xiao Yan replied with a smile.

At this, Wu Lao nodded slightly. The energy palm remained suspended in the air, holding the serpent captive.

A Long Wait

Over the next few hours, several more magical beasts and humans arrived, but the strongest among them were only Dou Huangs.

Upon seeing the massive energy palm in the sky and the captured serpent, they quickly realized the situation was beyond their abilities and retreated without hesitation.

"Where is she?" Xiao Yan murmured, his eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and curiosity. He remained motionless, waiting.

The rumors about Medusa's beauty were enough to pique his interest.

Just as Xiao Yan's thoughts wandered, several figures appeared on the horizon.

These newcomers were half human, half snake, their upper bodies human while their lower halves had elegant serpent tails. Even from a distance, their leader's silhouette exuded a mesmerizing allure, sparking an urge to see her clearly.

As the figures approached, Xiao Yan finally got a good look at the leader.

For all the stunning women Xiao Yan had encountered, even he couldn't help but marvel at this sight.

Bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, the woman's figure stood out like a work of art.

Draped in a regal purple gown, her curves were full and seductive, like a ripe peach exuding an intoxicating charm.

Her long, dark hair cascaded over her delicate shoulders and down to her slender waist, while the lower half of her body a violet scaled serpent tail swayed with an untamed, seductive grace.

Xiao Yan's gaze lingered on her near perfect figure before settling on her face. Her features were a flawless blend of allure and elegance, radiating a wild beauty that was both dangerous and enchanting.

Even with all the remarkable women he had met Ya Fei, Yao Ye, or Cao Ying none could truly compare. Only Gu Xun'er, with her ethereal beauty, came close, though she was still a budding flower compared to this fully bloomed queen.

Arrival of the Queen

High in the sky, Medusa felt the growing pull of her bloodline. Her long, narrow eyes sparkled with anticipation as she gazed at the ancient city ahead.

Behind her, Yue Mei and two others also looked eager. But as they drew closer, their expressions changed upon noticing the massive energy palm holding the gigantic, earth colored serpent.

"That's… an eighth tier magical beast, the Dust Sand Ancient Serpent!" Yue Mei exclaimed, her voice trembling.

"How terrifying! That beast could destroy the entire Snake People Tribe, yet it's being treated like a mere plaything. How strong must the owner of that hand be?"

Hearing this, Medusa's already cautious gaze sharpened.

The sight of such power confirmed that this was no ordinary inheritance site.

"Your Majesty, this place is incredibly dangerous. We must proceed with extreme caution," the Snake People Tribe's elder warned.

"I understand," Medusa replied, her mesmerizing face tinged with wariness.

Just as they hesitated, a playful, clear voice echoed from the ancient city ahead:

"No need to be so cautious, my lovely queen. Come on in."
