Chapter 229: This Belongs to My Shrek Academy!

"Right, hide your aura a little—don't let anyone notice you," Jiang Chen reminded quietly.

Ah Yin simply nodded, spreading her Blue Silver Domain as it began to absorb the energy of the Demon Plane.

As the Blue Silver Emperor, she already possessed the power of devouring; ever since merging with the Core of Life, her understanding of that power had deepened further.

Plane evolution, at its core, was all about devouring.

At that moment, Na'er suddenly grabbed Jiang Chen by the head, pressing his face toward hers.

Her tone darkened. "Who is she?"

Was he… hiding women now?

She hadn't expected Jiang Chen to be this kind of person!

"Oh, her? Just a servant," Jiang Chen said offhandedly. He didn't explain further—there were still two divine beasts in the heavens, and if they saw Ah Yin, that would make things complicated.

But Na'er clearly didn't buy it. A sharp pang of jealousy and unease filled her chest.

She couldn't explain why—but she was mad.

Seeing that Jiang Chen didn't intend to give an answer, Na'er puffed her cheeks, glared at him, and stormed off with her Silver Dragon Spear.

"Damn demons! Die!"

Demons: ???

Help! Someone save us!

What unfolded next was nothing short of a massacre—a complete, one-sided slaughter.

The Demon Plane was vast, its inhabitants countless. They couldn't all be exterminated so quickly, but once the high-level combatants were eliminated, the rest posed no threat.

Under Er Ming's Titan Divine Fist, the Demon Monarch—who possessed merely pseudo-divine strength—was utterly crushed, body and soul scattered.

"Ah, that felt good!" Er Ming laughed. "Consider it payback for hitting Jiang Chen."

"Brother, what's wrong?"

While the Title Douluo hunted down other demon lords and the warriors of the Yuanen clan fought like starving wolves, Da Ming frowned slightly.

"Nothing," he said after a pause. "I just sensed a familiar presence for a moment… must've been my imagination." He shook his head. "Let's go. Our work here is done."

Indeed, it was more of an extermination than a battle.

Ah Yin's Blue Silver Domain, the Golden Dragon Spear, and the Silver Dragon Spear were all soaking up power left and right.

"It's a shame this energy doesn't benefit my Small God Realm," Jiang Chen sighed. "The foundation there is immortal spirit energy—this stuff only adds clutter."

Too much impure energy would disrupt the balance of immortal qi, so he directed the absorbed energy instead into the sky above, funneling it straight back through the Demon Gate.

A thick, beam-like torrent of energy flowed through the gate toward the Douluo Plane.

That multicolored energy wave was joyfully welcomed by the plane's consciousness. Its trajectory led toward the ancient Tree of Life beneath Shrek Academy—the Core of Life of the Douluo Plane itself.

Even though Shrek Academy had relocated, the plane's underlying logic—its "programming," so to speak—remained unchanged.

Jiang Chen knew exactly who was responsible for that. Even after taking Ah Yin away, that rule couldn't be undone.

That was why he disguised the 10th Ferocious Beast, the Blue Silver Emperor, in Ah Yin's form—to swap her into Shrek Academy without anyone noticing.

However, just as the seven-colored energy approached its path toward the Star Luo Continent, it suddenly made a sharp turn mid-air and flew in the opposite direction—toward the Lake of Life within the Star Dou Great Forest.

Without even a moment of hesitation, it plunged straight into the forest.

As if he would ever strengthen an enemy!

Since the core of life had shifted before, changing its location again was no problem.

Although the plane's subconscious seemed displeased, the plane didn't truly possess will—merely instinctive laws.

After all, there was now a Plane Lord in charge.

Star Luo Continent.

Shrek Academy.

Seagod Lake.

The rebuilt Shrek Academy, supported by the Star Luo Federation, now stood larger and grander than ever before.

New construction projects—Phase Two and even Phase Three—were underway. The Federation, eager to show its devotion, intended to make this new Shrek even more prosperous than the last.

The academy had clearly regained its former strength. After all, aside from resources, they hadn't truly lost much.

But no amount of Federation funding could replace the heritage built over tens of thousands of years.

When a dense wave of life energy swept across the continent, rushing straight toward Shrek Academy, it immediately drew the attention of the Seagod Pavilion.

Led by Long Yeyue, the Pavilion elders floated in the sky, gazing upon the radiant flow.

"Could this be... the legendary gift of the plane?" Long Yeyue whispered.

"Does that mean someone from our Shrek Academy did something great enough to earn the plane's favor?" murmured another elder.

The group exchanged uncertain looks.

Long Yeyue frowned. "Where's the Pavilion Master?"

The elders looked at one another, then shook their heads.

Since the incident where the Pavilion Master stormed the Seagod Pavilion, he hadn't been seen in a long time.

"The Pavilion Master… is still too young," one elder sighed.

As the youngest Limit Douluo in history, their Pavilion Master possessed unmatched strength but lacked experience—unlike the former Pavilion Master, Xuan Zi.

They knew it wasn't right to defy their leader, but everything they did was for the good of Shrek Academy.

The Seagod Pavilion had been established to ensure fairness and prevent the Academy from falling into chaos under the rule of a single powerful individual.

Its purpose was, after all, to restrain those who would act on personal will alone.

"He'll understand our intentions when he's older," one elder murmured.

As they spoke, the brilliant life energy that seemed to be heading toward Shrek Academy abruptly swerved—then turned back the other way.

"Huh?"

Everyone froze in disbelief.

"Outrageous! Who dares intercept what belongs to Shrek Academy?!"

Long Yeyue's face darkened instantly.

That life energy was no weaker than the Golden Tree at its peak. With it, the wounded Golden Tree could have been restored to full strength—or perhaps even evolved further.

To watch such a divine opportunity slip away was unacceptable!

Light and Darkness Douluo immediately soared into the sky, racing toward the sea to intercept the energy trail.

"Shrek Academy, you're being quite arrogant," said a voice above.

A brilliant angel of light descended.

From within stepped a white-haired old man whose shoulders bore three radiant general's stars.

A Federation General—Commander of the Southern Legion, and Patriarch of the Angel Clan—

Le Zheng'en!
