Chapter 195: Only a Coordinate Is Needed—The East Wind Is About to Rise!

The Heaven Dou Continent.

Here, two great empires still faced each other—Dou Ling and Heaven Soul.

And now, nestled within this land—the weakest of the three continents—stood the headquarters of the Holy Spirit Cult.

A place ripe for their influence.

They had quietly seized control of nearly half the continent already.

Inside the cult headquarters—

"The plan to capture the phoenix has failed. What about recruiting the Qilin Douluo into our ranks?"

At the head of the dark hall sat a man robed in black, his expression grim.

He was the current Pope of the Holy Spirit Cult—Ghost Emperor, a Limit Douluo nearing godhood.

He sought to ascend as the God of Death itself—ruler of an eternal kingdom of souls.

But Douluo Continent's strength was simply too overwhelming. Unless the Abyssal Plane were fully opened and death spread across the entire world, he could never reach true divinity.

According to ancient records, the only living phoenix was vital for awakening the Demon Empress. Her revival, combined with his own power, would open the Abyssal Gate, unleashing the end of days—a cataclysm of death across the continents.

But the Federation had intercepted everything.

Worse, two of his Titled Douluo had perished in the process.

For the Holy Spirit Cult, losing even one such powerhouse was a devastating blow.

"Useless! All of you, worthless trash!"

Without the phoenix, how could he revive the Demon Empress?

Unless he sacrificed a hundred thousand humans.

But where could he find that many? In the Douluo Federation? The moment he showed himself, the Federation would obliterate him.

Star Luo Federation? Shrek Academy wouldn't stand aside either.

Only the Heaven Dou Continent remained—but its population was too sparse, too scattered.

A dead end.

Below him knelt two of his remaining high‑ranking subordinates:

Dark Stinger, a Super Douluo at Rank 95.

Dark Bell, also a Super Douluo at Rank 95.

In any other faction, such strength would be fearsome.

But this was the Holy Spirit Cult—once an empire of darkness that had drowned the continent in blood.

Ten thousand years ago, the cult boasted three Limit Douluo and countless Titled Douluo.

Now it had fallen to this.

Ghost Emperor's expression darkened further.

He may not care much for the cult itself, but being remembered as the weakest Pope in Holy Spirit history? That was intolerable.

"What about the Qilin Douluo? How is he progressing?"

According to their plan, the Qilin Douluo of the Star Luo Federation had been the prime candidate to fall into corruption and join their ranks.

Dark Bell bowed. "All was going smoothly at first, my lord. We nearly had him convinced. But with Shrek Academy's sudden arrival on Star Luo Continent, we were forced to withdraw all undercover forces. Our contact has since been severed."

The Qilin Douluo, Tong Yu—Star Luo's brightest prospect for becoming a second Limit Douluo—was heavily guarded.

His emotions had long hindered his ascension. After years of regret over accidentally killing the woman he'd loved—Tang Ziran's mother and Tang Wulin's grandmother—his heart had stagnated.

When Shrek Academy arrived, Star Luo's elders immediately placed him under their guidance, seeing Shrek as his path to recovery.

Unfortunate.

Ghost Emperor's face twisted with fury.

Every plan he touched crumbled. What kind of failure of a Pope had he become?

The Abyss could not be unleashed. The Demon Empress slumbered still.

Where could the Holy Spirit Cult go from here?

Taking a slow, venomous breath, Ghost Emperor lifted one hand. A black mist parted, revealing a sealed sphere of darkness—a communication device.

After a moment's hesitation, he activated it.

"Hello?" a voice answered.

Ghost Emperor smiled faintly. "Brother Dongfeng, still as dignified as ever, I see."

A pause. Then—a roar from the other end:

"Get lost!"

Click. The line went dead.

Ghost Emperor blinked.

What!?

So that was it—Spirit Pagoda had no interest in cooperation?

They dare ignore me?

Meanwhile, at Spirit Pagoda Headquarters in Douluo City.

Qian Gu Dongfeng lowered his communicator with visible irritation.

Their Qian Gu clan now boasted three Limit Douluo; the family's influence was at its peak. Why should he stoop so low as to speak to gutter rats from the Holy Spirit Cult?

Evil Soul Masters, daring to seek cooperation with the Pagoda?

Utterly laughable.

He vanished in a flash of light, reappearing moments later in the communications department, where countless Evil Eye Tyrants scurried through digital data streams.

"Tower Master!" the technicians saluted quickly.

"Find the Holy Spirit Cult's location," Qian Gu Dongfeng ordered coldly.

"I will personally erase that plague from this world."

For him, there was no greater potential threat to the Qian Gu clan than the Abyssal Plane.

If the Abyss invaded again, the strongest would be forced to fight first—and the Qian Gu family would be the Federation's frontline shield.

To eliminate that risk entirely—

"Hmph!"

"Our clan is flourishing. Why should we collude with sewer rats?"

A technician called out moments later, "Tower Master! We've traced the signal—Heaven Dou Continent!"

"Good."

"Prepare to depart immediately!"

"Tower Master, isn't that… politically risky?" someone asked timidly. "The Heaven Dou Continent still has two sovereign nations. Acting unilaterally might cause an incident."

"Bah," Dongfeng sneered. "It doesn't matter."

"If the Holy Spirit Cult truly resides there, they've likely already corrupted the royal families in secret. This time, I'll sweep them away like fallen leaves in the wind!"

That same day, Jiang Chen found himself separated from Snow Empress and dragged by Gu Yue all the way to Star Dou City.

Arms crossed, face cold as winter, she hadn't said a word to him the entire trip.

Only when they arrived—when she saw soul beasts freely roaming the vibrant streets—did her expression soften ever so slightly into a faint smile.

Jiang Chen, feeling uneasy, finally asked, "Why'd you bring me here? Something wrong?"

Gu Yue pursed her lips, turning away as she continued walking deeper into the city.

"Nothing."

Then, unable to restrain herself, she glanced back and asked casually—

"How are things with… Snow Empress?"

Jiang Chen blinked. That's what this is about?

"Oh, that. I confessed. We're together now."

Technically true—he had confessed, and though Snow Empress hadn't exactly accepted, their bond as partners in godhood already made them inseparable.

"Good! Very good! Wonderful!" Gu Yue's smile vanished, her voice sharp with barely contained fury.

Her molars could've shattered granite.

A surge of annihilating rage welled up inside her.

Humans—truly the most detestable creatures ever born!

"Jiang Chen," she said icily, "since that's the case, please refrain from ever bothering me again!"

"Huh?" Jiang Chen stared, dumbfounded, as she stormed off into the depths of Star Dou Forest.

He stood there speechless.

"What's wrong with her now?"
