The rebuilding of Nightsister magic began with an argument.
A very long argument.
It started inside the newly constructed Nightsister council hall beneath the twilight skies of Bogano. The chamber itself was still unfinished in several places. Ancient stone pillars taken from ruined Nightsister structures supported the ceiling while glowing Force-lanterns illuminated the circular room with soft blue light. Around the hall sat several witches along with younger apprentices who listened carefully while Mother Veyra proudly explained how the new generation of Nightsisters were educated.
At first, Harry listened quietly.
He genuinely tried to remain respectful. The Nightsisters had survived genocide, exile, and centuries of persecution. Their traditions existed because they had needed strength to survive.
But the longer they explained their teaching methods—
The more horrified he became.
"You teach blood rituals first?" Harry asked finally, staring at Mother Veyra in disbelief.
One of the younger witches looked confused by his reaction.
"…Yes?"
"And shadow possession?" Harry continued carefully.
"That is basic magic," another Nightsister answered as though the explanation should have been obvious.
Harry slowly lowered the scroll he had been reading.
"And children learn this at what age?"
"Usually around seven or eight," Mother Veyra replied calmly.
Even Ahsoka Tano, seated nearby with folded arms, looked visibly disturbed now.
Meanwhile, the Nightsisters themselves seemed genuinely confused about why Harry reacted so strongly.
Harry rubbed his forehead slowly while trying to process what he had just heard.
"That explains so much."
Mother Veyra narrowed her eyes slightly. "You disagree with our teachings?"
"I disagree with teaching children ritual sacrifice before basic magic."
Several witches blinked.
One younger Nightsister frowned. "But ritual magic is our foundation."
"And that foundation," Harry replied immediately, "is why so many Nightsisters become emotionally unstable."
The room became quieter instantly.
Harry stood slowly from his chair and began pacing through the chamber while speaking.
"Blood magic. Spirit invocation. Emotional amplification rituals." He pointed toward several younger witches practicing outside the hall. "You teach children to channel fear, grief, rage, and obsession before they even understand emotional control."
His voice remained calm, but firm.
"That creates dependency."
He pointed toward the scrolls again.
"Power addiction."
Then toward the temple beyond the council hall.
"And eventually the dark side starts feeding on them instead of the other way around."
Several witches shifted uncomfortably after hearing that.
Because deep down—
They knew he was not entirely wrong.
The Nightsisters had always struggled with emotional instability. Aggression. Possessiveness. Violent attachment. Obsession with power. Many of their greatest witches eventually destroyed themselves emotionally long before enemies killed them physically.
Mother Veyra finally spoke quietly.
"…Our old ways were built for survival."
Harry nodded immediately.
"I know."
"And they worked."
He stopped pacing then and looked around the council hall carefully.
"But survival alone isn't enough anymore."
That answer surprised them.
Because unlike the Jedi—
Harry was not dismissing Nightsister magic entirely.
He respected it deeply.
He understood its value.
He simply believed their entire educational structure was dangerously flawed.
One younger witch finally crossed her arms stubbornly.
"So what would you teach instead?"
Harry smiled immediately.
That was the question he had wanted them to ask.
Two days later—
Harry arrived carrying an enormous stack of books levitating behind him through the air.
Or rather—
One book copied many times.
His old first-year Hogwarts textbook.
Every page had been painstakingly translated by hand into Galactic Basic over the course of two exhausting nights.
The work alone had nearly driven him insane. Magical terminology translated terribly between worlds. Some concepts from Earth magic simply did not exist in Galactic languages at all, forcing Harry to invent entirely new descriptions for certain theories.
Still—
He finished it.
And now dozens of copies floated gently across the council hall into waiting hands.
The Nightsisters stared at the books with genuine fascination.
Because structured magical education barely existed among them anymore. Most surviving knowledge passed verbally between generations through incomplete rituals and fragmented traditions.
But this?
This was systematic.
Carefully structured step by step.
Mother Veyra slowly flipped through several pages while muttering quietly under her breath.
"Charms…"
"Transfiguration…"
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
"You separate branches of magic individually?"
"Of course," Harry answered. "If you throw everything together immediately, students become unstable."
One younger Nightsister pointed toward another section.
"What is History of Magic?"
Harry immediately waved dismissively.
"Useless."
Ahsoka nearly laughed out loud.
Harry continued without shame. "We don't need that. Care of Magical Creatures isn't useful here either because Bogano's ecosystem is completely different from Earth's. Astronomy from my world also doesn't apply properly to this planetary system."
One witch blinked slowly. "You removed entire subjects?"
"I improved the curriculum."
The first official magical classes began three days later.
And the Nightsister children absorbed knowledge terrifyingly fast.
Especially runes.
Many Nightsisters already possessed strong ritual foundations, so adapting to structured magical theory came surprisingly naturally to them. Within days, small magical experiments began appearing everywhere throughout the settlement.
Floating charms became common almost immediately.
Children practiced Lumos spells constantly until pathways through the village glowed softly beneath moonlight. Objects floated randomly through the air. One younger witch permanently turned an entire bowl bright purple by accident.
Another managed to transfigure a cup into a bowl.
Unfortunately, it exploded into halfway through the transformation.
Harry considered that "acceptable progress."
The biggest surprise came from transfiguration itself.
The Nightsisters absolutely loved it.
"You mean I can permanently turn one object into another?" one witch asked excitedly during practice.
"Not permenantly," Harry answered carefully.
"That is incredible."
"It's also extremely dangerous."
"That makes it more incredible."
Even Mother Veyra became visibly invested in practical charms once she realized how useful they actually were. Cleaning charms fascinated her. So did heating spells and repair magic.
At one point Harry found her silently repairing and rebreaking the same wooden cup repeatedly while studying the spell structure with deep concentration.
After nearly ten minutes, she finally muttered quietly to herself,
"…This would have saved us enormous amounts of labor."
But the real breakthrough happened when Harry introduced another magical discipline entirely.
Potions.
The moment he explained that magic could be brewed into liquid form—
The Nightsisters became obsessed instantly.
Ritual healing already existed among them, but potion-making fascinated them in an entirely different way. The idea of bottling magical effects into stable consumable forms felt revolutionary.
Harry spread translated potion pages across a large wooden table inside the settlement greenhouse.
"These are basic healing drafts," he explained while pointing toward diagrams. "Energy restoratives. Antidotes. Transformation catalysts."
The witches crowded around immediately.
One younger Nightsister looked genuinely horrified.
"You can bottle magical healing?"
"Yes."
Another whispered softly,
"That changes everything…"
Harry quickly raised one hand before their excitement spiraled too far.
"There's a problem."
"The ingredients from my world don't exist here."
He pointed outward toward Bogano's wilderness beyond the greenhouse.
"If we want proper potion-making here…"
"…we start from the beginning."
That realization hit everyone hard.
Because potion experimentation was dangerous.
Incorrect combinations could kill people easily. Magical backlash. Poisonous reactions. Explosions.
Harry had survived enough disasters in Snape's classroom to respect that deeply.
Still—
Instead of discouraging the Nightsisters—
The challenge excited them even more.
"We rediscover it," one witch said immediately.
"We rebuild it," another agreed eagerly.
Mother Veyra slowly nodded.
"Our ancestors once learned through experimentation too."
And just like that—
The Potion Project began.
Soon groups traveled constantly across Bogano gathering strange plants, glowing mosses, roots, mushrooms, and flowers. Everything became cataloged carefully. Studied. Tested.
The greenhouse expanded rapidly afterward.
What had once been a simple farming structure transformed into a massive magical botanical research center. Rows of glowing plants filled the interior beneath enchanted lights while vines moved slowly on their own along the walls. Certain flowers visibly reacted to Force-sensitive individuals approaching nearby.
Some roots screamed when uprooted.
Luke accidentally discovered one mushroom exploded into blue smoke whenever frightened.
Winky immediately banned him from touching unfamiliar plants unsupervised afterward.
Even Yoda eventually became interested in the growing experiments.
"These plants…" he muttered thoughtfully while studying a glowing vine. "Strong in the Force, they are."
"Exactly."
"That means magical compatibility is possible."
Then Sebul accidentally made the situation far bigger than anyone expected.
While helping transport greenhouse equipment one evening, he casually remarked,
"We can always collect plants from other planets too."
Then every witch inside the greenhouse slowly turned toward him at the same time.
Sebul instantly regretted speaking.
"You can do that?" one Nightsister asked excitedly.
"Of course," Sebul answered carefully. "We have ships."
"And the galaxy is filled with different ecosystems," Harry finished slowly.
Then his eyes widened slightly as realization struck him fully.
This was bigger than Bogano.
If magical or Force-reactive plants existed across thousands of worlds—
Then potion-making itself could evolve into something entirely new.
Harry felt genuinely hopeful about the future of magic itself.
Life on Bogano slowly became something none of them had expected.
Peaceful.
Not completely peaceful, of course. Dangerous creatures still roamed the forests beyond the settlements. Training sessions remained brutal enough that the younger Jedi trainees often woke up groaning in pain every morning.
But compared to the chaos consuming the galaxy—
Bogano felt unreal.
The two settlements gradually grew closer with each passing week. At first, the separation between them had been deliberate. The Nightsisters remained cautious around Jedi traditions, while many of the Jedi children felt openly intimidated by the witches of Dathomir.
That caution did not survive long.
The Nightsisters continued calling the other side of the valley "the Jedi village," while the younger trainees jokingly referred to the Nightsister settlement as "the magic village."
The names somehow stayed permanently.
Despite the large distance separating both settlements for safety reasons, people constantly traveled between them now. Children especially ignored the invisible boundary entirely.
The younger Jedi trainees ran toward the Nightsister village almost every evening after lessons ended, eager to watch strange magical experiments or learn small charms Harry had started teaching the witches. Meanwhile, the Nightsister girls frequently visited the Jedi settlement to observe lightsaber training, mock the younger Padawans whenever they lost sparring matches, and steal food from Winky's kitchen.
Mostly the stealing food part.
Luke quickly became one of the most frequent visitors to the Nightsister settlement.
Mostly because he became completely obsessed with magic.
"Again!" Luke shouted excitedly one afternoon while standing in the middle of an open training field.
Three stones floated shakily before him.
Then immediately exploded outward in random directions.
One slammed into a tree hard enough to crack bark. Another narrowly missed Quinlan entirely. The third somehow flew backward and landed directly inside a pot of soup near the cooking fires.
Harry stared at the smoking soup thoughtfully.
"You're improving," he admitted carefully.
Luke's eyes brightened immediately. "Really?"
"No."
Harry pointed toward the ruined soup.
"But your confidence is impressive."
The nearby Nightsister children burst into laughter while Luke groaned dramatically.
"You are the worst teacher ever."
"And yet," Harry replied smugly, "you keep coming back."
Luke absolutely refused to give up.
He learned charms surprisingly quickly, especially practical ones. Cleaning charms fascinated him. Light-producing spells became one of his favorites. Summoning charms nearly caused several disasters once he realized how easily they could combine with Force abilities.
And the moment Luke successfully merged Force Pull with Accio—
Everyone immediately regretted teaching him both.
Because suddenly objects started flying across entire sections of the settlement without warning.
Winky nearly murdered him after a full tray of kitchen knives shot through the air unexpectedly while she cooked dinner.
"LUKE!"
"I was practicing!"
Even the Nightsisters laughed constantly around him because unlike many Jedi they had known before—
Luke openly embraced emotion.
He showed excitement without shame. Wonder without restraint. Curiosity without fear.
Meanwhile, the older witches traveled regularly between settlements carrying potion ingredients, scrolls, enchanted tools, charms, and supplies. Trade between both communities slowly became normal. What once felt like two isolated groups now resembled one strange society learning how to exist together.
One evening, Mother Veyra arrived at the Jedi settlement carrying several glowing plants wrapped carefully in cloth.
"These reacted strongly to moonlight," she explained while placing them before Harry.
Harry immediately leaned forward with interest.
"Did they produce magical residue?"
"Yes."
"And one exploded."
Harry nodded thoughtfully. "That usually means progress."
Nearby, Yoda quietly observed the discussion while pretending not to listen. Over the past weeks, the old Jedi Master had become increasingly fascinated by magic itself, though he refused to admit it openly.
Then one younger Nightsister approached him nervously.
"Master Yoda…"
"Hm?"
"…Can you really lift an entire ship with the Force?"
Yoda remained silent for several dramatic seconds.
Then answered calmly,
"Yes."
Every child nearby stared at him in awe.
Harry immediately pointed toward him. "Show them."
Yoda narrowed his eyes instantly.
"Entertainment, I am not."
"Coward," Harry replied casually.
The children gasped in horror.
Luke whispered dramatically, "He just called Master Yoda a coward."
His ears twitched slightly.
Then, without another word, he raised one small hand toward the horizon.
Far beyond the settlement—
An entire parked transport ship slowly lifted into the air.
The children exploded into screaming excitement immediately. Even several Nightsisters looked stunned as the massive vessel hovered above the valley for nearly ten seconds before gently lowering back to the ground.
Harry crossed his arms thoughtfully.
"…Okay, that was actually impressive."
Yoda smirked faintly.
"Hmm."
After that, the settlements stopped feeling separate entirely.
Instead they became something strange and chaotic and strangely functional.
Force-users and magic-users learning from one another beneath the hidden skies of Bogano.
And somehow—
It worked.
