Chapter 193: Luo Han's Plan for Poseidon
"Looks like I've protected her too much in the past. Without proper trials, her willpower became too weak."
Sister Spoon said with a hint of guilt as she looked at Aishi . Turning to Luo Han, she asked, "She hasn't recovered yet?"
Uh… Luo Han hesitated. Should he tell her that Aishi 's condition was… permanent?
If she found out, Sister Spoon would definitely march back and kill Otohime on the spot.
"Don't tell me…"
Luo Han's silence made Sister Spoon's expression darken. Her knuckles cracked as she growled, "Say it. What's going on?"
Sighing, Luo Han could only be honest. "It's permanent. She can't fully recover, unless—"
"Stop! We're going back!"
Luo Han was cut off by Sister Spoon's steely voice.
"Sister Spoon, wait—"
Before she could take off, Luo Han restrained her with his telekinesis, preventing her from leaving the barrier.
"Let me go!"
She glared at him, her voice cold. "Aishi has always loved you. And after what happened, you can just leave without batting an eye?!"
"Tell me—how the hell can you be so calm, Luo Han?!"
Her outburst struck Luo Han silent. He began questioning himself: Had he gone too far?
He had reasons to spare Otohime… but those were just excuses. His woman had her will tampered with, and he let the culprit go.
Was he clinging too tightly to the story's script?
"Can't answer? Then let me go. I'll handle this myself!"
Seeing Luo Han still silent, Sister Spoon grew angrier and tried to break free—failing again. She turned to Sora. "Help me!"
"Yes, ma'am."
Sora immediately launched herself, aiming a kick straight at Luo Han's head.
"Cole, don't interfere."
With a thought, Luo Han halted Cole from reacting. Sora, mid-kick, froze in place.
"Not bad. Her kicks are on par with Aishi 's," Luo Han muttered. This woman really obeyed Sister Spoon without hesitation.
"Big Sis! Luo Han!"
Aishi 's voice suddenly broke the tension, startling both of them.
She was frightened. Until now, she hadn't realized something was wrong. But even she could piece things together from the conversation—something had definitely happened to her. Yet she felt… nothing wrong.
That unknown fear engulfed her.
She turned to the two people she trusted most—Sister Spoon and Luo Han.
Trembling, she asked, "What… happened to me?"
"It's nothing! Really."
"Yeah! Don't worry. You've got us."
Sister Spoon and Luo Han spoke at once. Their eyes met—they both realized: right now, Aishi was the most terrified. Best not to push her further.
"Really?" she asked uncertainly.
"Really," Luo Han said firmly. "With my power, who could ever hurt you? I'll protect you."
Hehe… Hearing his words, Aishi smiled again.
"What a clueless child," Sister Spoon thought, heart aching. She glared at Luo Han—not yelling anymore, but her eyes warned him: if he messed this up, their bond was over.
"Sister Spoon, when we reach the Sea Forest, I'll explain. If you still want to kill that fish girl—"
Luo Han released the telekinetic hold on both women.
"I'll do it myself," he said seriously.
Hmph! Sister Spoon turned away without replying.
…
"We're here," Akatsuki announced, pointing ahead. "Just past the water curtain."
Through the underwater veil, warm sunlight poured over green grass and trees. Despite the wreckage of countless ships, the scene still felt peaceful.
Everyone was enchanted. Luo Han said, "Alright. Let's go in."
He guided the group through and landed them in a clearing.
"Wait here," he told Aishi , Cole, and the others. Then turned to Sister Spoon. "I need to speak with you. We'll be right back."
"Go ahead," the others nodded.
"Let's go, Sister Spoon."
Luo Han waved her along. The two of them ventured deeper into the forest, following Luo Han's spiritual sense to the location of the Poneglyph.
Sister Spoon didn't speak—she knew Luo Han must have a reason. No rush.
…
"This is the Poneglyph?"
Sister Spoon examined the two massive stone blocks with ancient unreadable script.
"My first time seeing the legendary Poneglyph… and the first time knowing they came in red too."
She turned to Luo Han, puzzled. "How did you know one was here?"
Back in the palace, he had insisted on coming here. And now, he went straight for the stone—clearly looking for it.
"I know a lot of things."
Luo Han placed his hand on the red stone.
Sister Spoon assumed he was joking.
"Now, about Aishi ."
Luo Han turned serious.
"I'm listening," she replied just as solemnly.
"Aishi 's condition isn't severe. The effect on her isn't that big."
"What do you mean?"
"She just thinks the Ryugu royal family is pitiful and wants to defend them. Once we leave Fish-Man Island, she'll basically return to normal."
"So as long as she doesn't see Akatsuki or the others, she's her usual self?"
"Exactly."
Sister Spoon frowned. "'Basically'... so not entirely?"
"I don't know what will happen over time."
"So what are you planning?"
Luo Han sighed. "My Devil Fruit ability is special—it can enhance physical strength. I'm planning to send Aishi back to Ark Island to train with Tuck and the others. Or, have her stay with you."
"Why? You don't want her around?" she said coldly.
"No! No!" Luo Han quickly denied it. "I need to travel with Akatsuki to find the Lantern Fish. If Aishi comes along, seeing Akatsuki every day might worsen her condition."
"Fine," Sister Spoon reluctantly agreed. But that fish girl… unforgivable.
"But that's not why you stopped me from killing her, right?"
"No. First, I believe I can eventually erase the influence on Aishi using my Devil Fruit."
"Really?" she asked, hopeful.
"Let me finish," he said, and she nodded sheepishly.
"I'm sure I can help Aishi . Second, even if you kill the fish girl, Aishi won't recover—because this isn't a Devil Fruit power. And lastly…"
Luo Han asked, "Do you know about the Ancient Weapons?"
"I've heard of them!" Her eyes widened. "You mean… there's one here?!"
"Poseidon—the Ancient Weapon—is here on Fish-Man Island."
"And you want it?"
"That's right," Luo Han confirmed. "You know that 29 years from now, I'll have to fight the World Government—on my home island of Tree Ring."
"I have to seize every opportunity to strengthen myself. And Poseidon is key."
"That blonde fish girl is the key. Legend says every few centuries, a mermaid princess is born who can speak to Sea Kings. She becomes their ruler—and commands all of them."
"A power like that… definitely deserves to be called an Ancient Weapon."
"You mean…" Sister Spoon gasped. "The mermaid princess is Poseidon?"
"Yes. That little blonde's future daughter will be Poseidon."
Wait, what? How did Luo Han know that?
"How do you know she'll give birth to a mermaid princess—and that she'll be Poseidon?!"
Luo Han smiled mysteriously. "That's my secret."
Sister Spoon studied him curiously, but let it go. Still…
"Even if you know that, what if the princess doesn't help you in the future?"
"You're thinking, what if she refuses to fight the World Government?"
"Exactly," she nodded. "With how things are now, I doubt she'd help you."
Fair point. Things weren't exactly warm between them—and Luo Han wasn't the "promised one."
"Don't worry," Luo Han said. "I already have a plan to ensure Poseidon helps me."
...
Seeing he didn't want to elaborate, Sister Spoon let it go. As long as Aishi 's problem could be solved, she'd drop it.
Looking at the smiling young man before her, she suddenly remembered—he was only twenty years old.
Yet he already carried the weight of a future war with the World Government.
That must be why he could even spare someone who hurt Cole. Otherwise, she doubted that fish girl would've lived.
Sighing, she said, "Fine. You decide. I'll leave Aishi to you."
"I'm heading back."
She turned and walked away. Luo Han clearly had more to do—probably involving the Poneglyph. She didn't care for ancient texts anyway.
"I'll take good care of Aishi !" Luo Han called out.
She waved without looking back, disappearing into the trees.
"Now… let's see just how indestructible these legendary stones really are."
Luo Han placed his hand on the red Poneglyph, letting his spiritual energy probe its structure.
Sister Spoon was wrong—he wasn't interested in its content. What fascinated him was the stone's invulnerability.
It had stood untouched for at least 800 years. Not a scratch, not a single chip.
Astonishing.
"This hardness must be off the charts…"
That was his true goal. To analyze the Poneglyph's toughness and integrate that energy into his psychic armor.
If it worked, his defense would reach a whole new level.
