Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: Searching for Clues to Wano

Chapter 110: Searching for Clues to Wano

Unfortunately, Rocks seemed to have caught on and kept chasing after Roger without finishing him off. As a result, his plans to dominate the New World naturally slowed down. If not for the need to search for Ring Tree Island, the Five Elders would've launched a crusade against the Rocks Pirates six months earlier. Still, it wasn't too late now.

"But… something's off about Rocks. He hasn't made a single move," said the sword-wielding elder, frowning.

"Hehe! Whitebeard and Shiki are just going through the motions. That brat Luo Han outright abandoned Battleship Island, disobeying Rocks' orders completely. Whether Rocks acts or not, it hardly matters anymore," replied one of the other elders.

The remaining four didn't seem concerned. In fact, they were more curious about why Luo Han had suddenly become bold enough to reject Rocks' command. Even Whitebeard was merely slacking, not outright disobeying.

"Maybe it's because he's no longer burdened by his loved ones," the sword-wielding elder speculated. "And that brat's Devil Fruit power… that defense is abnormal. Not even Kong could break it."

"The most important thing—he fought for ten straight days and showed no signs of fatigue."

The other four elders grew serious as they considered the latest intelligence.

"Have CP0 find out what Devil Fruit that brat ate—no matter what it takes," the blond elder said in a low voice.

The others nodded. Luo Han's abilities were too unusual. Sure, some passive-type powers consumed very little stamina—like Luffy's rubber body. Even when exhausted, his rubber form still stretched.

But active Devil Fruits were different. Like Law's Op-Op Fruit or Whitebeard's Tremor-Tremor Fruit—when your stamina runs out, the powers don't vanish, but they can't be used.

Luo Han's telekinetic armor clearly required active ability use, yet it defied that common rule. That's why the Five Elders were desperate to know what kind of fruit it was.

Once again being targeted by the Five Elders, Luo Han was currently deep in thought on deck, pondering their next move. "Judging by the current situation, the God Valley Incident shouldn't be far off now."

"Hey, Luo Han, where are we going now?" came Toki's weak voice.

Luo Han turned around. There, slumped by the railing like a boneless creature, she stared blankly at the sea—looking like she might fall overboard any second. He frowned.

"You're seriously asking me that? You don't even have a single clue about how to get back to your own homeland. Where do you think we can go?"

He was clearly annoyed. Originally, the plan was to return her to Wano. Since she'd managed to make it from Wano to the Ring Tree region, she must have some memory of the way back—or so he'd assumed. But she didn't remember a thing.

"I told you, I came from the distant past. I got lost at sea right after I set sail. How would I know the way back?" she explained awkwardly.

That answer left everyone speechless. Eventually, they gave up and decided to just go with the flow. Luckily, the samurai of Wano were famous—stories and legends about them were plentiful—so it wasn't a total shot in the dark.

They planned to check out those legendary locations, hoping to find clues. After all, the currents around Wano naturally flowed toward the island—if they got close enough, they'd likely find it.

In the days that followed, Luo Han and his crew were spotted in various parts of the New World before disappearing again, sparking speculation.

"Is that brat Luo Han searching for something?" Whitebeard wondered, before diving back into battle.

While Luo Han wandered, Garp, Sengoku, and Zephyr each took command of fleets, beginning campaigns across the New World. Stories of Garp vs. Roger and Sengoku vs. Whitebeard were spreading everywhere.

Exactly—stories. At present, all newspapers were banned from reporting anything about the Rocks Pirates. Even Luo Han's ten-day battle against Admiral Kong hadn't been mentioned.

In the past, Luo Han's name would've shaken the world again. But now, only a handful of Marines knew the truth. The World Government had forbidden any coverage.

In a violent part of the sea, beneath stormy skies filled with roaring winds, two pirate ships steadily advanced. The surrounding ten-meter waves didn't seem to faze them.

"Are we really in the sea where the Dragon-Slaying Samurai fought?"

Leaning at the bow, Luo Han looked at the dark skies with suspicion. Cole and the others nodded beside him.

"Hehe! It's just a legend," Spoon-jie said with a smile.

She pulled out a nautical chart and three Log Poses. One of them was shaking the most violently.

She looked toward the front-left, saw nothing unusual, then checked the pointer again—it was still trembling.

"Front-left. There should be a dangerous island in that direction. We might find some clues about Wano there."

"Really? Then let's go!"

Toki suddenly dashed up from below deck, her wooden clogs clicking as she bounced over with excitement. Then she turned, giving Luo Han a hopeful, puppy-eyed look.

"Let's hurry up, Luo Han!"

"Alright! Let's see just how dangerous this island really is," Luo Han grinned.

"Hold on tight, everyone!"

With a thought, Luo Han launched both ships into the sky. Whoosh! They soared toward the front-left.

"Wow! Captain Tucker, we're flying again!"

"Boss Luo Han's powers are amazing! I want to keep flying forever! Waaah!"

Tucker's crew was thrilled. Over time, they had come to admire the freedom and thrill of Luo Han's Devil Fruit. That kind of extreme speed—it was every man's dream, like the adrenaline rush of driving a sports car.

In contrast to Tucker's excited crew, those aboard Luo Han's ship—Spoon-jie, Aishi , and Sora—had gotten used to it.

Flying high above the stormy seas, the ships soon passed the chaotic zone and entered a calm one. The sun shone, the breeze was gentle—it was a dramatic contrast.

"What a mysterious world," Luo Han muttered.

He turned to look behind them—dark clouds, howling winds, raging waves—and then looked forward at blue skies and soft winds. It felt like two separate worlds had collided… yet remained unaffected by each other.

One moment: storm and chaos. The next: sunshine and peace.

Once in the calm zone, Luo Han gently landed the ships on the water and sailed forward for another hour.

"That must be the dangerous island… looks pretty interesting," Luo Han said, smiling.

Splash, splash… As they approached, a massive island—or rather, a mountain—came into view. It looked like stacked circular continents, forming a towering spire. The base was the widest, and each level got smaller toward the top, like a layered tower that pierced the clouds.

"Han-ge, there's another pirate crew over there!" Cole said, pointing to the right side of the island.

There, a pirate ship flew a flag with two crossed swords and a skull—similar to Tucker's, but a different color. Only twelve people were aboard. They seemed to be an elite squad and were trying to find a way onto the island.

As they got closer, they realized: the island had no coastline. It was surrounded entirely by sheer cliffs, each over a hundred meters tall. The other pirate crew was clearly stuck.
